They had bed bugs

This is an exeptional hostel. Extremely helpfull and friendly and caring staff. Before I booked here I was reading a review from someone who was saying some really negative things about the lady with glasses. To be honest, this lady goes out of her way to make your stay remomorable. So if you made her angry, you probably were the problem yourself. I also red some information about bedbugs. I can tell you they clean the sheets EVERY DAY. And you can also get a fresh towel whenever you ask, so I guess that has been improved tremedously. There were constructions in the hostel, but is was not really bothering. It is right next to a partyhostel for younger people, but I never heard any noise from there. Most of the guests in Travellers House were 25+, so this hostel is not for party. You can party at the hostel nextdoors if you want to though. The fascilities were amazing for the price. Met some amazing travelers here aswell. They reconment an amazing spa/massage parlor and the laundry is fast and cheap. I even got a chance to take a bath in the bathtub in one of the hotelrooms for a little extra costs because I was sleeping in the dorm. This was amazing! I would suggest this hostel/hotel if you are in need of rest, quietness, inside the busy streets of Hanoi with easy access to everything nice to visit. Is this hotel people work very hard with a lot of love for their job.

Unfortunately the private room I was staying (406) in had bed bugs. This was such a shame as my stay would have otherwise been perfect. The receptionist refunded me for one of my two nights and assured me that they would close the room for deep cleaning. Hopefully this issue has been addressed properly as promised!

I stayed in the big mixed dorm for four nights. The room was too big, there are 25 beds and it was smelling horrible the whole time (I guess it’s a cleaning product they use?). The first two nights the window was closed and there was no air. The last two nights the AC was turned on and it was freezing. I woke up shaking but apparently many people like it like this. The toilets and showers were mostly clean but there are only two toilets for 25 people. My friend stayed in the only female dorm and she had bed bugs in her bed! The staff was always nice and helpful.

My bed and my friend's bed were infested with bed bugs. I was bitten all over my body. The woman at the reception desk said she would not pay for the anti-itch ointment. The only refund for my stay was for one night on the night I discovered the bed bugs. Around 4:00 AM, I woke up the snoring receptionist and showed him the two bed bugs that were on the bed. I told the reception man that I had found bed bugs and that I had been bitten since the first day of my stay. He told me that he would have a new bed ready for me at noon. However, the day shift receptionist did not say anything until I spoke to them about it shortly after 1:00 PM. When I asked them about it, their response was that this was the first they had heard of it. It seems that there was no handover from the night shift to the day shift. So I had to explain to the receptionist again from the beginning. The bed with bed bugs was the next guest's bed two hours after I left. The woman at the reception desk was overbearing and banged on my desk. In addition, she touched my body. She acted arrogantly to get me to accept her proposal. My plans for sightseeing in Hanoi were ruined. And there is a lot of mold and a few mushrooms in the shower room. 2つのベッドで、トコジラミ2匹とトコジラミの抜け殻を見つけました。全身刺された。受付の女性は、「痒み止めの塗り薬のお金は出さない」と言った。宿泊代金の返金は、トコジラミを発見した夜の1泊分のみだった。宿泊初日から1週間も刺され続けてるのに、トコジラミを発見した日の分しか返金されなかった。AM4:00頃、いびきをかいて寝ている受付の男性を起こしてベッドに居たトコジラミ2匹を彼に見せた。受付の男性に、トコジラミを見つけたこと、宿泊初日から刺されたことを伝えた。彼は「正午に新しいベッドを用意する」と言った。しかし昼勤務の受付の人は私がPM1:00過ぎに彼らにこのことについて話しかけるまで何も言ってこなかった。こちらから尋ねたところ、初めて聞いた、という反応だった。夜勤務の人から昼勤務の人に対して、引き継ぎがされてなかったようだ。なので、受付の人にまた最初から説明することになった。トコジラミが居るベッドは、私が退いてから2時間後には次の宿泊者のベッドになっていた。受付の女性は高圧的で、机を叩いてきた。さらに、私の体を触ってきた。彼女は提案を受け入れさせるために横暴な行動をしてきた。ハノイ観光の予定が台無しになった。

Bed bugs. There are bed bugs in this hotel. And the one of beds that bed bugs were found was offered to another guest within just 2 hours we left it. The other bed was used by other tourists on next morning. Probably their handling of bed bugs is just changing bed sheets lol. They are not sincere at all , a middle aged woman is very high handed. We stayed 7 nights at dormitory room. My friend was bitten by something bugs at the first day. We thought they were bed bugs but we were not sure because it was first time to visit Vietnam. What if they were mosquitoes or just normal ticks.We used the other beds (my bed) from second day. But she had being bitten by somethings over and over again. Finally I found two bed bugs on my bed, and found shed its skin of bed bug on her bed early in the morning . I took pictures of them and caught them , then I told a receptionist. Two of receptionists were sleeping on sofas at reception, although this hostel is 24 hours open hotel. It was fine, I made one of them wake up and told about bed bugs. He offered us a new bed in the same dormitory room. Probably only one bed was available at the time. This few days, she was not able to go out for sightseeing and to sleep for long time as well. So she bought 3 types of anti itchy products. Next morning, we asked to compensate for these products. But the middle aged woman rejected the compensation of them. And she suggested compensation of one bed for one night. Or she would refund one more day if we check out on this day. That’s all. Our check out day was the next day. Even 24 hours wasn’t left. So we decided not to check out right away. Then, she requested us to remove our luggage from the lockers. At that time, we thought it was something wrong. Because we didn’t even think they offered these beds to next guests on the day!! However they did lol. this is terrible hostel.We told her that my friend was bitten on the first day and we had had to use one bed for two of us since the second night. She refund money just one night that I found bed bugs. That was funny. I haven’t seen hostel like this. Finally she refunded fee for one night of two beds. But on the last day, we used just one bed, so refunding money for two beds was totally expected .The other staff members are good and kind. Just be careful with middle aged woman with glasses. About the contains of refunding, it was obviously not OK, but she was very high handed. So I decided to write honest reviews and said OK. トコジラミが発生している。私たちがベッドを空けた2時間後には片方のベッドに新しい客を案内しているところをみた。もう一つのベッドには翌朝別の客が寝ていた。シーツを変えただけなんのだろう。対応は全く誠実ではなく、態度も高圧的である。2人でドミトリールームに７泊した。チェックインした日に片方のベッドで虫に刺された。痒さからしてトコジラミだったが、実態を見ていないため確信が持てなかった。２日目以降はもう片方のベッドで2人で寝たが、また刺されていた。チェックアウトの２日前の夜中にトコジラミを２匹発見し、写真をとり、ティッシュで捕まえた。受付の人に言いに行った。24時間受付と謳っているが、受付2人してソファで寝ていたので1人を起こして事情を説明した。新しいベッドを１台用意してくれた。1台しか空いてなかったんだとおもう。この数日間で観光にも出られないくらい痒かったため、痒み止めの薬を３つほど買っていた。翌日は、２日目から使っていなかった方のベッドにトコジラミの抜け殻を見つけた。別のスタッフに薬代は補償されるか聞いたところ、みな初めてこの話を聞いたような反応だった。引き継ぎもまともにできないと思われる。そして、出された提案は、昨日１日分の、ベット1つ分を無料にする、というもの。今日チェックアウトして別のホテル探すなら今日分も返金するというもの。チェックアウトまであと24時間もないのに新しいホテルを探すのはめんどくさいので昨夜用意された1台のベットで2人で寝ることにした。そして、初日から今まで両方のベッドで虫に刺されているのにも関わらず、見つかった日の見つかった方のベッドの料金だけを返金するという対応。それでいいだろという高圧的な態度。結局１泊2ベッド分を返金してもらえたが、最終日はベッド1台しか使ってないから当たり前。トコジラミがいなければ買う必要のなかった塗り薬代も支払わない。最低なホステル。スタッフの若い人たちは結構良かったが、年配の眼鏡の女性がありえない。 老年女性は自ら私たちから２つの鍵を持ち去ったくせに、鍵を出せと机を叩いていた。そして、トコジラミが発生していた２つのベッドのロッカーから荷物をどかすように言われた。2人分の荷物を１つのロッカーに入れることはできないので、動かす必要はないと思ったが、新しい客を入れるためだった。午後1時くらいにトコジラミについて伝えたが、午後3時すぎには新しい客を入れていた。痒くて観光どころでもなく、最低な旅行になった。返金内容の合意について、全く合意できる内容ではないのは明らかだが、高圧的にOKかと迫ってくるので、レビューに正直に書くことを決めてその内容でOKとした。

BedBugs INFESTED 🪲 🐜🦗 !!! Checking took till 1h after the supposed time. Virtually 0 natural light in the wrong end of the room.
