+ The only thing I like was the location.
- The staff keeps on lying about the fees that are charge when you book. If you book on hostelworld or booking.com they charge you fees and tax. The woman said they don't charge you if you reserve on Whatsapp and bring your passport showing the stamp of entry.They always contradict themselves. I requested a towel to use and the staff member said its $20,000 pesos to reserve it and they will give me the $20,000 back. That was a lie!! The other staff member said $10,000 they have to keep which I think that is a lie and weird. I don't recommend anyone to stay there.
+ The location
- Anyone can access th rooms, that doesn't make any sense. There's only 1 bathroom for an entire floor. And the personnel was just lame
+ nice regular staff (not boss), great showers, big beds, no real indoors so usually cold, mehhh kitchen, decent location
- My first bad review I’ve left for a place… To trip monkey higher ups & fellow Travellers TLDR - manager attacks & acuses me of something I didn’t do - doesn’t apologize - bans me from location & before that other staff lies to my face about rules that don’t exist - won’t tell me real reason till it becomes apparent from boss starting arguments when he’s 100% wrong & doesn’t apologize after being shown - The thing he thought I did: someone w the same name left a less than perfect review - HE BANNED SOMEONE FOR LEAVING A REVIEW HE DIDNT LIKE THEN TRIED TO ATTACKED THAT PERSON WHEN THEY CAME TO USE THE BATHROOM CAUSE ITS NEXT TO THE OUTDOOR GYM NEARBY - Likely say I was banned for some other reason cause a friend I’m telling this story to knows shitty hostel bosses do this as their go to move for reviews…what a sleeze ball - Actual hostel review: nice regular staff (not boss), great showers, big beds, no real indoors so usually cold, mehhh kitchen, decent location You look at my reviews and history it’s only positive or for promotions like a free towel, first time in my life I’m leaving a bad one in 3+ years full time travel To fellow travelers: if you need a cheap place this is enough, if you feel like joining solidarity against shit bosses go to hostel Macondo down the road, much better in person & vibe, beds are smaller & shower isn’t as good but it’s hot and the vibe makes up for the kind of stuff trip monkey pulls. Plus we’re having family dinners, getting lots of work done in the cafe area (which is all I tried to do at trip monkey btw, just work & literally not bother anybody and they still kick me out) and a much safer area of Chapinero To trip monkey higher ups: I hope all your other bosses don’t behave like that man.
+ Lastimosamente no puede quedarme en la habitación ni por 30 minutos, las cobijas estaban manchadas y la habitación tenía un olor a sudor. Había mucho ruido, la recepcionista nos ofreció una solución en otra sede de sus hoteles pero lastimosamente ya habíamos reservado en otro hotel. Cabe aclarar que las instalaciones estaban limpias, el lugar tiene una decoración muy bonita, en general las zonas sociables estaban perfectas. La idea de este comentario es realizar una invitación para que mejoren.
+ Advantages of the hostel are as follows: It is clean, cleaning lady works good. Cleaning lady and the guy at the reception are very friendly. They helped me with everything. Beds are comfy and big. Shared space and rooms are cozy. Restrooms are very clean. Overall, the hostel amenities meet the high hotel standards.
- The major disadvantage that makes everything worse is young lady at the reception. She is unfriendly and it seems like she is just tired of customers. She is not glad to any new customers. Often she is busy with her own business like her cosmetics etc. When I talk to the lady, she doesn't stop, walks away and turns her back to me. She almost never smile, overall not so friendly.

I got robbed here - lost my phone and laptop here. Other lockers were broken into as well.
Very unsafe property - a number of us were robbed here, whilst the owner and staff were all at the property.

La ubicación del hostal es muy conveniente, y las habitaciones y los baños estaban limpios. Sin embargo, tuve una mala experiencia con una empleada de limpieza llamada Emily. Alguien revolvió mis pertenencias, y cuando le pedí una explicación, mintió y culpó a mi compañero de viaje de toda la vida. Me parece una lástima, porque el lugar es agradable, pero el respeto por las pertenencias personales y la honestidad del personal son importantes.
Everything has been very good. I really enjoyed the place, and I have stayed here several times. I consider everything excellent, and the staff always provide a very special and welcoming service. A special thanks to Mr. Elisaul for his kindness and attention.
Positive : Good location rear shops/resturants. Negatives : Where do I begin? 1) Poor wifi – don’t expect to work as a digital nomad here. 2) No indoor communal space. Just outdoor space, and it gets cold and wet in Bogota. 3) Poor kitchen – old and un-hygienic pots and pans which have no handles etc 4) Extremely bad attitude from the owner and his staff. I have never stayed in a hostel where the owner and staff look at guests with disgust and annoyance. Not once did I see any staff...

The only hostel I've ever stayed in where the owner and staff look at guests with anger, annoyance and dislike. They treat you like a 2nd class human.

+ La amabilidad de todo el personal.
- Todo bien.

- El haber reservado en un lugar, llegar y encontrar que ya estaba ocupado, luego me tocó pagar transporte para otra de sus sedes. De resto, todo estuvo bien. Mejoren eso de las reservas.
+ J'y suis passée qu'une nuit. L'accueil a été sympa, les équipements étaient corrects. Bon prix.
- Assez bruyant à cause de la route.
+ La ubicación del lugar, la zona alrededor del mismo.
- El tema reciente con el papel higiénico, al no asegurar o limitar la disponibilidad del mismo, y el no contar con reserva de agua en caso de irse la misma. Dado que no es posible que si se corta el agua, la solución sea cerrar los baños y no permitir el uso de los mismos, simplemente porque el lugar no asegura reserva de agua.

+ La ubicación sobre todo y el precio ya que era conveniente con desayuno. Los locker sobre la cama son prácticos.
- La limpieza de los baños,la ducha tapada y las habitaciones son sin llave por lo que cualquiera puede entrar y salir. Y la atención del desayuno el servicio es muy lento, esperar media hora por unos huevos me pareció excesivo, si no tenían muchas mesas ocupadas.
