Kuha Phuket Old Town

We arrived late evening around 11pm. The receptionist checked us in and took our money for the 5 nights (10,000baht) we then went up to our room absolutely shattered. After letting ourselves in, my partner lifted the pillow and bedsheet to find bugs in the bed (pictures attached) and stains on the sheet. I remained in the room while she went downstairs to ask if we could move room, the receptionist agreed after showing him the video that we took of the bug. Around 11:30 we changed room and settled in again, this time greeted by an unclean room with hair on the floor and ants in the bathroom. By this point we were so tired that we just took a shower and went to sleep. In the morning after being woken up by the road noise and the air con being either too hot or too cold during the night, we went to reception to ask to check out. They then offered to clean the room in order for us to stay which we declined as it should be clean to begin with and their standard obviously isn’t very high. Since our one night stay, we have been attempting to get our money back for the 4 nights we did not stay, however, we have not been successful as their communication has been extremely poor. They say it is due to the cancellation policy and that they also offered us free breakfast during our stay if we had continued, but actually this was NOT offered to us as the time. Not that it would have changed anything! Worst nights sleep we have had and poor service from the hotel afterwards, though thank you to Cookkie on reception who tried her best for us to be able to get in contact with management.
