Hotel Palace Gyeongju

Reelijk nieuw hotel dat alle gasten een (selfservice) ontbijt aanbiedt. 👍 Gratis laundry service ook 👍 Praktisch de hele dag mogelijk om gebruik te maken van de selfservice in de keuken (koffie, thee, koekjes en noodle soepjes ). Echt top! Alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand van het hotel. Idem de vele restaurantjes. Netflix op groot beeldscherm en alles heel schoon. Ik miste wat haakjes in de (bad)kamer. Het lawaaierige plastic op de matras maar aan de andere kant geen last van bedbugs;-)

Clean, very spacious rooms and bathroom (although it would benefit from some place to put your clothes). The staff are kind and professional, solve problems without any complaints. They do not speak English much, though. The location is very convenient, within walking distance to many attractions of Gyeongju and a bus stop with many useful bus connections. They offer free simple breakfast. The only thing we didn't like was the plastic bed covering under the sheets. We understand it may be a safety measure against bed bugs but it is uncomfortable, especially on hot nights (you basically wake up all wet from sweat)
