Very dirty, smelly. No hot water. Bugs in the beds. No windowless. Too expensive.

The location is great. But the place is very dirty. Water wets the floor (carpet) anytime someone is taking a shower. The kitchen is a mess. All the place is smelly. Pros: good location, nice staff. But you don't get the value for the money. Worst hostel we've been in. We cancelled the next night reservation. Needed to pay 8%, though we were chunked and stung by bed bugs.

Willhouse is in a strong spot in Pucon, near the main street, bus terminals, supermarkets, the center, and the lake. The place has a wooden, cozy feel, with an upper terrace that gives a volcano view and a pleasant place to hang out. The setting works well for moving around town and for day trips, and the shared spaces give it an easy social flow. The kitchen is a real plus: it is large, well equipped, and organized, with plenty of space for food storage and cooking gear. There is room to sit together, and the common areas support a social atmosphere without feeling polished or fancy. Staff are often friendly and helpful, and the overall tone can feel welcoming and relaxed. The main tradeoffs are comfort and noise. Some rooms are small or cramped, wooden floors can carry sound, and sleep can be affected at night by activity in shared areas or from nearby spaces. Bathrooms also need more care in parts of the building, with wet floors, wear, and occasional plumbing issues.
