Los Burritos Hostal

My stay here was great, Brian was awesome to talk to and gave me some great tips for the area! Surfboard rental was available at the hostel and the restaurant downstairs does great food. Having a TV in my room was a real luxury, would recommend this place!

Stayed 1 week and extended 2 more. Thank you for all the hospitality. Slept well, had good food from the restaurant. Must try burritos and cookies.

Brian the owner made our stay. He was very helpful and allowed us to stay until 3pm the day we had to leave without paying extra due to being ill. The hostel is in a wonderful location and the restaurant is an added bonus. Highly recommend! The atmosphere is seasonal and dependant on surf conditions, so nothing hostel owners can do about it in the very sleepy cute town.

A great stay with Brian at Los Burritos, cheap and has everything you need.

The hostal owner was incredible. He made sure I felt comfortable and helped me figure out the bus system! He speaks English for folks who don’t speak Spanish and he shared his story of how he got to Chicama with me. The location was great and I had a lovely time in Chicama, even without a big swell! I would recommend to any one!

This is a wonderful hostel, perfect location with great potential. It has a surfboard rack and terrace to dry your wetsuits. The burritos and cookies are great. We like to cook so picked this as one of the only cheap hostels with a kitchen. It had very basic equipment, but based on past reviews we expected this. You can still cook. Owner is US guy, very friendly and took on board our feedback for small improvements like getting loungers for terrace, more kitchen equipment and bedside tables.
