La Casa de Bamboo

the hostel was a ghost town. The showers were freezing not even luke warm water. the rooms were fine although i had to move rooms on my second day as the first one had no power at all (i checked in late and just went straight to sleep). staff were weird. the guy that checked me in and worked at the bar was just unfriendly/rude the whole time, one word answers, never smiled. felt uncomfortable being in the restaurant. the female staff were really nice and there’s a cute dog. would not stay agai...

Our star at la casa de bamboo was ok. Check-in went smoothly, they even let us in the property a few hours prior to check-in. The room was ok, clean, comfortable bed, comfortable bathroom. But from that onwards our experience wasn't that good. Our main issue was the communication with the staff. First thing was that, since breakfast only started at 8am and most of our tours started earlier than that, we asked them (prompted by our traveling agency, not the staff themselves) if it was possible t...

The vibe here is awesome even if it's empty the bamboo gives a good feel and the kitchen pumps out great food. All in all equal value to the cost

Fine, cosy hostel. Shower head quite low, so boyfriend couldn't stand under it. We had a private room, and had to go outside to use the bathroom. Mosquitos love us, so not ideal for midnight peeing. But overall nice hostel with good coffee, nice atmosphere.

Nice hostel, well located near the oasis and restaurants. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It felt safe. I recommend it for solo female travelers.

We were in the top floor room, as shown in pic. Hotel staff very nice. Delicious food at their restaurant. Cook adjusted menu for us when we asked. We had to check out early and staff was wonderful to prepare a meal to go for us. Recommend hotel! Perfect location.

Great location, friendly staff. Huacachina has lots of garbage everywhere, including the area right outside of the hostel. I had to ask the hotel staff for a garbage bag so I could pick it up myself. Would be nice if the hotels took it upon themselves to keep the dunes garbage-free. Otherwise good hotel. Would stay here again.

Absolutely fantasic stay, wonderfully kind and helpful staff, allowed us a late brealfast and helped store out bags, let us spend the day there before our night bus. Nothing but helpful kind and welcoming! Great spot to rest too! And tasty food!

Great location and a good hostel. Also had large rooms and a large bathroom. Unfortunately, our last night, they locked us out of the hostel, since we got back at 12:02

Nice and clean, solid breakfast and away from the noisier part of the town so a good night's sleep

I Loved this hostel, clean, hot shower, good restaurant, personal was friendly. One of the best hostel we went in Péru !

What a fantastic hostel :) super pleased with everything. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Food delicious. Definitely recommend.

Booked at the last minute. Big bathroom with properly hot shower, which was really good after a day on the dunes. Nice TV in the room to with netflix to chill. Comfy enough bed. Handy location. All in all, no complaints
