La Casa Naranja

no me senti muy bien...

I stayed at La casa Naraja for a week and initially really appreciated the homely atmosphere. The space is fairly clean and the kitchen is well stocked. That said, it’s important to know this isn’t a typical hostel environment — you’re effectively a lodger in someone’s house, where the host is always present. However, at the end of my stay I left my bag with a friend in the building, which the host was aware of, her texts to me felt disproportionate and uncomfortable.

Carolina is een geweldige gastvrouw. De ontvangst en communicatie verliepen soepel. De kamer heeft alles, maar oordoppen zijn handig vanwege luide muziek van een nabijgelegen club. De gedeelde keukenfaciliteiten zijn minimaal en niet altijd schoon. De badkamer, gedeeld met drie kamers en de gastvrouw, is vaak bezet, wat wachttijden veroorzaakt. Desondanks zou ik het verblijf zeker aanraden.

Très bon accueil de Carolina. C'est propre. La cuisine est bien équipée.

Not quite a hostel, it was basically Caroline's house. Caroline was SO sweet, extremely welcoming. Very quiet and particular accommodations. Perfect if you're purely looking for a place just to work. Not ideal if you're looking to go out or be social or anything as Carolina's elderly mom lives in the house and is not a fan of noises.

Todo perfecto! Carolina puts so much thought into everything to make your stay perfect - she truly is one step ahead of any questions you may have for her. The house is beautiful and everything has thought and care put in by her over the years. There is a warm atmosphere with the other travellers, too. I will stay here every visit to Buenos Aires - 1000/10!

Carolina is such a lovely host. She is very sociable and also gave us a lot of very useful advice to explore Buenos Aires. Her home is looked after very well. Very cozy and quiet place to have a good sleep and explore cafes and restaurants. Strongly recommended.

Carolina is the most wonderful host, the house is beautiful, and the neighborhood is perfect. I was looking for somewhere to relax for a few days amidst a longer trip, and staying at La Casa Naranja helped me to truly unwind. Of all the places I’ve found on Hostelworld, this place is truly my favorite far and away.

Carolina was such an amazing hostess! From the moment I got there, I felt at home. If you are looking for a quiet, low-key place, then I highly recommend it. The location is fantastic! Close to several bus lines, yummy Palermo restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. I enjoyed my stay here so much that I extended it and I will certainly miss this quiet oasis in BA.

I originally booked to stay here for 4 days but ended up staying for 2 months because it was so good. The owner, Carolina, is super friendly and keeps the place very clean and tidy. As a digital nomad, it was perfect with high-speed internet, air conditioning and a desk in all bedrooms. The location is excellent, with many cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you Carolina!

What a brilliant stay in Carolina’s house. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and most authentic Argentinian experience. Everywhere was clean, with hot showers, great AC in the bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. We found it very social and within a great location. Carolina gave many amazing recommendations and made us feel like part of the family. She even gave us a mate making lesson, truly special. Thanks again 💛

I LOVED staying at Casa Naranja! Super recommended! A house with private rooms full of colours and warmth! Felt like home immediately! All clean - and the best, the host: Carolina - such a warm and charming person! We had a lot of talks, shared meals together with other travellers and so on: if you're looking for a home away from home: that's your place!

הוסטל סופר מיוחד שהוא בעצם יותר בית מאשר הוסטל. קרולינה, בעלת הבית, היא בן אדם כל כך חם ומזמין והיא דאגה לכל מה שהייתי צריך. בבית יש שישה חדרים, כל החדרים מטופחים וגם המקלחות מעולות ועם דוש רחב. האווירה בהוסטל ממש משפחתית (לפחות כשאני הייתי) וקרולינה משרה אווירה חיובית על כולם. ה...

Une maison pleine de couleurs, tout comme Carolina qui est une personne très chaleureuse. Avec elle, vous vous sentirez comme chez vous. Une belle atmosphère, dans un quartier où on se sent bien et en sécurité.

Si lo que quieres es un alojamiento tranquilo, agradable y especial, esta es tu casa… Carolina sabe hacer sentirte como en casa.

I had the best time at La Casa Naranja. I stayed 10 nights and I wish it was longer. The location is superb in Palermo with multiple bus stops within a minutes walk to get you around Buenos Aires. The house is lovely, it has everything you need. It’s super clean, quiet and the security is second to none. The hostess Carolina is just a superb human being. She is so warm and kind, and will help you with anything you need. I will definitely return due to her charm and wonderful people I met there...
