El peor hostel al que he ido. La cocina es abierta y hay olores ruido el tiempo. Los baños detonados, duchas viejas, el colchón estaba roto, no hay calefacción ni aire, muy malo.

lo único bueno es la ubicación, la encargada cuando está ayuda. Los chicos voluntarios antiguos, imponen sus propias reglas cuando no está la encargada, generando incomodidad, les falta más conocimiento y manejo de turismo. No hay una buena limpieza, debajo de la cama tenía un esfero con telaraña que llevaba tiempo, los colchones tienen ácaros, por la alergia me di cuenta, los baños tienen humedad y moho, bastante uso en general de las instalaciones, por eso el deterioro de la mayoría ...
The only good thing is the location, the one in charge when there is help. the old volunteer boys, impose their own rules when there is no one in charge, generating discomfort, the lack of knowledge plus tourism management. there is no good cleaning, under the bed I had a sphere with spider web that took time, the mattresses have mites, from the allergy I noticed, the bathrooms have moisture and mold, quite a general use of the facilities, hence the deterioration of most things.
No recommendation!! Hostel doesn‘t look at all like in the pictures. You can‘t lock the doors (when the main entrance is open literally everbody can enter). It’s dilapidated, no floor cover, holes in the wall, disgustingly dirty toilets, very thin bed sheets, leaky windows (very cold and noisy!). Only plastic dishes that were so incredibly dirty. Also you can only pay with cash or send the money to a private person via paypal… for what you get it‘s way to expensive + the staff is kind ...
HostelWorld didn't publicize that under-aged were not only BANNED from reserving but BANNED from entering hosted even accompanied by their PARENTS! Not even a checkbox regarding children (but there are for cookies!). The hostel kept us from accessing the room we reserved leading to a load of troubles : there weren't kind to find any kind of intermediary solution/accommodation and would prefer to see a father + kid sleeping in the street rather than amending their "no kid" (non public) "policy".
Sinceramente, o staff é prestativo, mas o hostel não vale a pena: não tem ar condicionado ou ventilador (tava 32° a noite), a rua é muito barulhenta e o preço que vi no site em pesos nap condizia com o pagamento (o que é culpa do site, não do hostel). Fui embora mais cedo, não recomendo.
Worst experience I've ever had in a hostel!! When I got there (11pm) I had to wait for 30min just to tell me the hotel was fully booked even though I had the confirmation email. The manager called another hostel which I didn't see and which I HAD TO PAY. She gave me money for the uber that wasn't enough and the worst part is that in the other hostel they told me that wasn't the first time that Ilvero sent them people for the same reason. 0/10. Misleading. They charge a different amount to what it says online when you are looking at hostel room prices in local currency. The staff don't help you out if you have a problem.
The experience was REALLY bad and I'll have to summarize it due to the character limit: I arrived at the hostel without a reservation, asked for the Wi-Fi password to make a reservation, but the attendant Hernan refused and asked me to leave the hostel. I found a public Wi-Fi network and made a reservation. I hate to give negative reviews but this hostel has to go on my short list of least desirable hostels. Positive point was a friendly staff who did the best they could. The beds were lumpy. The pillow was virtually non-existent. The shower was not a shower. It was a dribble. Many things were in need of repair. The kitchen was tiny. Nothing felt very clean. It is not on the best side of Recoleta. Only a major overhaul would bring it up to the state of acceptable.

Bedden liggen heerlijk, vriendelijk personeel. Prima badkamer ( ook badkamer voor alleen vrouwen). Enige vond ik persoonlijk dat de lokatie niet top is. Wat ver van leuke barretjes en hangt vage sfeer in de avond /nacht buiten ( ik was er maar 1 nacht dus kan ook eenmalig zijn ). Dak teras is top

IlVero is conveniently located in Recoleta, a happening part of town with many lovely restaurants nearby. The location is a great balance of chill vibes and proximate to activities!

Great hostel with lovely, helpful staff/volunteers! Nice to have a curtain and little shelf with your bed. Good location in Recoleta. Sun terrace obviously ideal as well!
Hostel is well located with good bunks though they varied in comfort. curtains, lockers, lights and plugs were really good. They made an effort to organise group activities every day and Nesto was great. Some pitfalls were lack of aircon it got pretty muggy and the shared spaces are very poor. the kitchen has two weak hotplates and thats it so really bad for cooking, not ideal in such an expensive city.
Had a great time here. Bathrooms are not the biggest/best and common areas are randomly spread out. But the staff/volunteers here were awesome at coordinating social activities which were the best way to meet/connect with others.
Muy buena ubicación. Además los espacios son muy cómodos y prácticos. Me encantó que la cama tenía un blackout y un estante para guardar tus cosas. Además enchufes propios para el celu, para otras cosas y luz propia. Después todo el resto impecable, personal atento y cálido, espacios comunes limpios y amplios, baños cómodos y limpios. Very good location. plus the spaces are very comfortable and practical. i loved that the bed had a blackout and a shelf to store your stuff. plus own plugs for the cell, for other things and own light. after all the rest impeccable, attentive and warm staff, clean and spacious common areas, comfortable and clean bathrooms. i would be back!!! thank you 😀✨🏼
I had a wonderful time at Ilvero! As a solo, female traveler, I was looking for a place to connect with other travelers, easy access to the city, and a safe location. I found all three at Ilvero! It is the beautiful neighborhood of recoleta, with access to bus stops and the metro nearby. The hostel organizes events almost every day, which are a great way to meet other people and explore the city in as a group! The volunteers are all very sweet and excited to help. Re lindo todo, vuelvo pronto!!
Staff was super friendly, great safe and central location. Bathrooms could be cleaner.
Overall a nice hotel, but the building is pretty small. Rooms were nice, there is a little balcony so there was lots of airflow and a big shade on the bunks so you can have lots of privacy. The showers were lacking, not super clean and not much water pressure. The rooftop and kitchen were both nice, but other than just sitting in the common areas there wasn’t much social interaction from the other guests. Overall, if you need a place to sleep and cook in a location this is a good choice.
Very nice hostel. Beds are comfy and very nice with curtains. Nestor such a nice guy, he helps you with everything. 10 out of 10!
Prima hostel! Goede locatie. Ff zoeken naar de voordeur, want bordje is onduidelijk. Bedden hebben goede gordijntjes, maar kamers zijn warm want geen airco. Keuken is op bovenste verdieping dus gezelligheid moet je zelf beetje opzoeken. Douches zijn mweh
Nice hostel! good location. if you look for the front door, because the sign is unclear. beds have good curtains, but rooms are warm because no air conditioning. kitchen is on the top floor so the coziness you have to yourself beetje opzoeken. douches are mweh
I was happy in my room of 4 girls. Venezualan guy was lovely at reception. It wasn’t the most social hostel just due to layout. Kitchen is basic but has all that you need. Great blinds on the beds which is rare for Argentina. Bedroom doors don’t lock but this is standard for Argentina. Great location.
