a&o Dresden Hauptbahnhof

During our stay we were bunked with 4 others. We all had to be changed rooms after a roommate went to hospital due to severe bedbug bites. (We had to demand this and the staff admitted they weren’t going to let us know, good thing our roommate’s did). On top of all this the hot water was out for 2/3 of our stay and one of our beds charging ports were not working. We contacted them as we were not happy with our stay and wanted some compensation for the trouble. Didn’t even offer a partial refund

Meine Tochter hatte 30 Bisse von Bettwanzen in einer Nacht erhalten. Die Matratze sollten dringend gereinigt werden!

One of the bed in 6-Bedsroomwas occupied with bed bugs (or similar insects) and one of our family people was bitten more times with these bed bugs. We will contact a doctor to get reimbursement / compensation from the hotel for this fact.

Bed bugs

Truly the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed in. Booked a private room for a night due to a DB cancelled train because of the proximity to the train station, and was horrified at the level of uncleanliness. The entire building gives you the feeling you will return home with scabies, bed bugs or respiratory issues. It’s clear they don’t clean, the mattresses themselves are filled with stains, and it’s super loud at night. Read through the good reviews and i am sure they’re bots or otherwise dishonest. I can tell you, no one in their right mind would speak highly about the cleaning a month ago- the mold in my room is a few months old I am sure 😂. Do not stay here. It’s not worth it. For like 20 euros more a night you can get a decent place that will not give you skin rash and nightmares for months. It also felt like a super unsafe place as a woman. You truly have a feeling that anyone can access your room at any time. The person at the reception was fine but quite inept. Not unkind, just also not skilled. It doesn’t even matter because they force you do self check in, so you have to do it for them.

Ich war vor ein paar Tagen zu besuch. Für eine Nacht reicht es, für mehr ist es jedoch nicht genügend. Wir haben Bettwanzen gefunden, unsere Pfandflaschen wurden trotz eines „nicht belästigen“ Schildes mit genommen von der Putzfrau, an einer Decke waren Ejakulations- und an der anderen ein riesiger Fäkalienfleck. Frühstück und Abendbrot ist angenehm und viel Lärm gibt es nicht. Der Vorteil bei diesem Hostel ist natürlich die Lage. Jedoch benötigt es viel mehr Sauberkeit für mehr Sterne

Die billigste Absteige die man finden kann... Ich weiß ehrlich gesagt was ich sagen soll... Wir haben dort eine Woche mit der Klasse verbracht und es war einfach unter aller Sau. Im ersten Zimmer hatten wir Bettwanzen. Es hat gestunken (auch nach 3 stündiger Durchlüftung) und das Zimmer war winzig und dreckig. Vom Reinigen halten die dort wohl nicht sehr viel. Nach dem wir das mit den Bettwanzen gemeldet haben wurden wir zurück geschickt und sind dann noch mal wieder gekommen. Bekamen dann unser neues Zimmer in denen wir wieder Bettwanzen vorfanden. Die kamen Nachts in Massen aus den kleinen Bodenleisten heraus gekrabbelt. Ich habe nun wirklich keine großen Ewartungen, vor allem nicht für diesen Preis. Aber ich kann nur jedem davon abraten hier zu übernachten. Dann könnt ihr euch auch auf die Parkbank direkt davor legen und müsst euch keine Gedanken machen Bettwanzen mit nach Hause zu schleppen. Das war seit langem die billigste Absteige in jeder Hinsicht und ich werde das Hostel nicht weiter empfehlen. Das grenzt ja an Gesundheitsgefährdung.
