Largo do Bispo Boutique Hostel

The hostel was very nice and clean in the center of Horta, really near to the port. The piace was really friendly and quiet during night. Washing machine wasn’t free and we didn’t use it. Recommended

We booked shared room with 4 beds. When we arrived the owner gave us beds in a room with 6 beds. We asked why and he simply told us its better for us and no more explanation. The air condition didn't work in the beginning. The staff wasn't very helpful nor friendly. Most of the time there was no one at the reception.

The location was great, loved the balcony with the room and the private bathroom for our room. The room was also very spacious and the kitchen at our disposal was appreciated. However, the AC in the room made it unusable because it was next to a bunk bed. So everyone had to be hot so that one person doesn't freeze. Another downside of our experience was the receptionist during our stay. She wasn't very helpful and would suddenly go do other things while we were engaged with her (at check in).

Lovely hostel with beautiful garden. Rooms are very clean - perhaps the nicest hostel i’ve ever stayed in. Bathrooms are almost like hotel bathrooms. The people who work there were very kind.

Everything about this hostel is amazing - the dorms are clean, spacious, pleasantly decorated; staff are so thoughtful and polite; the public area is clean and welcoming.... It's an absolutely outstanding hostel, and I would recommend to anyone

Das Hostel hat seinen Preis, aber es lohnt sich! Sehr saubere Räume und freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal. Der für etwas Zusatzgeld erwerbbare Waschservice war für uns nach mehreren Tagen Camping ein Traum. Die Lage ist außerdem super!

At the bispo you can find a nice atmosphere. The rooms are big and very clean. It Is close to the city center and also to the ferry boat harbour. I raccomend to stay here.
