Stone House Mancora

Close to the beach, great location, hosts are very friendly and accommodation is comfortable. Swimming pool area is my fav spot, the beach doesn’t offer areas with shade, so the trees around the pool will give your skin a break from the sun.

Coming here I understand why it’s rated so highly. It has a really calm and relaxing atmosphere but still social enough to meet people. The pool is big and nice and it’s amazing to lie nearby on the grass or in the hammocks to sunbathe. The outdoor kitchen is well equipped and the rooms are nice with good showers. There is daily room cleaning, and the fan and mosquito incense repellent are both lifesavers at night. The best part is the owners: so kind, helpful and accommodating!!

A good place for people who work and travel, overall good rooms and atmosphere, big shared kitchen and a big pool.

Top tier hostal. Really friendly hosts, super clean, great location, well maintained crystal clear pool and all amenities within one block. Highly recommend to anyone except people who want to party every night. the atmosphere here is really laid back and calm and not the place to be coming to stay up until early hours.

The owners are very helpful and friendly person. I enjoyed the use of the kitchen. My room was spacious and clean. The garden with the pool is a nice place to chill out. Also the position is perfect, close to everything, but in a still quite area.

located about a 5 minutes walk from the beach this hostel is really worth the cost(and it's not even expensive) but it's also in a great location away from the main road of mancora and has a great pool, rooms were great, bathroom was a decent size, overall can't complain

Great place to stay, quiet, extremely comfortable, extremely helpful and friendly hosts and sweet pups, very close to the beach and a lot of good & cheap foods, prime location, good pool. Probably the best bang for buck in Mancora

I stayed here for 5 nights because I looked for something with more travellers and a hostel vibe. Although it also has private rooms the vibe is very open and friendly. The best part about staying here for me were the hosts. They are extremely helpful and kind. They supported with advice on travel plans and activities. Although I only booked a dorm bed, they even arranged a room for me to make an important video call and ensured I had everything. + cute cats and dogs included:)

Rosa and Jorge were super welcoming and really made our stay. From accommodating our early bus to giving my friend after sun for my sun burns, they made sure we were happy and felt at home. The hostel is right by the beach and the town and the room was clean and comfortable. Unlike some of the party hostels it was a nice chill vibe so we were also able to sleep. Would defo recommend!

Absolutely loved my stay at Stone House! Jorge and Rosa are the sweetest and make everything so easy — from catching early buses to extending your stay when you don’t want to leave. The vibe is the perfect mix of social and chill, and the location couldn’t be better — super central and just a short walk to the beach. The kitchen is great too if you want to cook. Such a lovely place, I’d definitely stay again!

Definitely a gem in Mancora, they let me check in super early after my overnight bus. Really peaceful spot and owners are super nice and friendly. Very close to the beach and right down the street is the bus stop for Cuenca (in Ecuador). Definitely recommend!

This is one of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed in on my travels. It’s got a really lovely relaxed atmosphere, there’s a big kitchen which makes the place sociable. It’s also so close to the beach to surf, or the lighthouse to see the sunset, and is about 2 mins walk from the bus drop off, which is super handy at 4am. Rosa and George are lovely people, and make you feel so welcome, if you stay in Mancora you should stay here!

Enjoyed my stay here. Great location and the owners, Rosa and Jorge are really nice and helpful.My bus arrived early and they let me access my bed before checkin as my bus arrived early. Kitchen and amenities are very good too.
