after a night in the hostel my whole hand got bitten by bedbugs. and two spots on the body

DON’T STAY! if i could rate lower i would. bedbugs, urine in the hallways (no lighting either which was unsettling) faeces smeared on the walls and door of the bathroom. mouldy pillows. just completely filthy. rude staff too. extremely unhappy and will be requesting a refund as it was unliveable and i had to leave.

Bed bugs and dirty, weird vibe.

Found bed bugs in the bed, police came on the 2nd night. Rooms were not well maintained. Toilet had no toilet roll or soap and the hostel attracted an interesting clientele. Would not reccomend.

Very filthy, especially bathrooms and toilets, bedbugs in rooms, wouldn't recommend even for a one night. Pay a bit more and enjoy your stay in Berlin

Bed bugs in my bed.

- although the location is central, I would not recommend walking around there alone at night (the district is kinda ghetto-ish); - it is an old hostel in a veeery old and creepy building; the furniture is shabby, the floors are squicky, the light sensors do not always function, and the doors make a lot of noise (it is quite scary to be there or go to the bathroom at night); - I had a room for one person with a shared bathroom; the room was poorly decorated - a bed, a "cupboard" with a broken hanger, a table, a mirror, and a nightstand (it was ok for me for a one-night stay tho); - the hostel was not cleaned properly: the walls were dirty, the floors as well, there were full trash bags in the hallways, the toilets were dirty and sometimes missing toilet paper; - towels costed 2€ extra; - private bathrooms were a big trauma! there were two on my floor (with the shower inside, no toilets) - in the first one the shower was broken, in the second one the door was broken so I couldn't lock it inside; both were ultra dirty and both had only cold water! - the worst part was that after the stay I realized I was bitten by bed bugs :(((( I couldn't believe it first, but then I read other reviews and realized I was not the only one who had the same experience there. I am not super picky and I knew it was a hostel so I did not have high expectations, but it was definitely the worst place I ever had so far!! It shouldn't even be on booking tbh!

Vorsicht Bettwanzen und die Toiletten und Duschen sind in einem schrecklichem Zustand.

Unfortunately we were bitten by bed bugs. Also it was heard to fall asleep due to noise from card-system that was used to open the doors.

Literally everything, and it was so dirty , lights did not work in the halls. I have bed bug bites from the only night we stayed there.

There was mold on my mattress and it smelled really bad. There was a cigarette left on the floor and stains on the walls. The planks underneath my bed fell off in the middle of the night and I had to fix them, which was how I found out about the mold on the mattress. There was no paper in the toilets and there were stains on the toilets, walls and ceiling there too. I also had several red marks in my body after I woke up to check out of the hostel! I think there might’ve been bed bugs, not sure.

Mein Bett hatte Bettwanzen. Am Anfang dachte es son Mücken. Ich habe erst am Ende des Aufenthalts gemerkt, dass es Bettwanzen waren. Einfach Katastrophe!

Es gab Bettwanzen in meinem Zimmer und die Matratzen waren durchgelegen. Außerdem waren die Badezimmer leider nicht so sauber und mir hat eine Küche, sowie ein Aufenthaltsraum gefehlt

Das Personal ist extremst inkompetent, lügt und möchte auf gar keinen Fall helfen. Die Zimmer sind dreckig, verraucht und schimmeln. Und zwar habe ich sie nicht gesehen, aber ja Bettwanzen sind gut möglich bei der Hygiene. Das Bad ist eibe zumutung. Die Toileten unverwendbar und die Duschen voll schimmel. Sie stinken und sind ebenfalls unbegehbar. Zwar hat das Hostel einen Flair, den kriegt ihr aber bei einem Aufpreis von ein paar Euro auch in einem andereb Hostel ohne menschenunwürdige Zustände. Nie wieder. Bucht bitte was anderes. Alle Bewertungen stimmen.

Look out for bed bugs! The bed linen had not been changed as we got our room, the wall was dirty with unknown splashes of liquid, and after some time we noticed bed bugs on our mattress and under the bed. We decided to leave the hotel quickly after that. The staff did not want to give out a refund, and did not seem very understanding about the bed bugs issue. I do not recommend staying at this hotel, at all.

The property was in a good location and the room was not bad for the most part. However, there were HUGE bedbugs in the bed and me and my partner got bites/rashes.

Morgens aufgewacht neben einer toten Bettwanze. Auf Nachfrage bei der Rezeption konnte uns nicht weitergeholfen werden. Wir haben unsere Reise frühzeitig abbrechen müssen und keinerlei Entschädigung bekommen. Weitere Aussagen des Personals waren, dass Bettwanzen in den Mehrbettzimmern "normal" seien und nur in unserem Fall ungewöhnlich (Einzelzimmer). Das Problem wird dementsprechend nicht behoben werden.
