+ The reviews and description seemed good enough but reality is a different story. Also, there is a nice soda nearby. Soda La Perla. The staff is nice and tries to be helpful but the owner only cares about grabbing your money, not your satisfaction.

- It’s not very well maintained. The room has a weird layout. The bed was not comfortable. The shower was not very strong, when there was actually water. We lost power and water multiple times. There is tacky art, plastic flowers and a bird in a cage….in Costa Rica! The dirt street out front is oddly busy and noisy, a lot. Parking is out back in a “secure” lot. The pool looked like it had normal blue water in the listing but was brownish green when we were there. We had a 4 night reservation, stayed 1 night and attempted to get a 50% refund. Seemed reasonable enough, but not to the owner. Wasted time even trying. We’d recommend staying elsewhere unless you have a very high tolerance for substandard.

- Staff will check your room if you leave. No deadbolt on rooms. Our privacy was not respected by staff

+ Le petit déjeuner est très bien

- Pas de fenêtre dans les chambres ! C’est du jamais vu ! Comment peut louer ce genre de chose vraiement ignoble, aucune hygiène En France cet hôtel serait fermé depuis bien longtemps, ici c’est loué plus de 100€ la nuit, quelle arnaque !

+ Les pancakes.

- Le lit qui grince. Le papier toilette une seule épaisseur. La piscine salle avec objet pointu dans les escaliers. Jacouzzi qui ne marche pas. On nous demande une caution de 150$ je n’ai jamais vu ça de tout le voyage.

+ The staff were friendly. The breakfast was acceptable and served in the only bright area of the building.

- This property is old, in poor repair and the decor of fake grass, plastic plants, flowers and vines is totally oppressive and depressing. Although the rooms appeared in the ad to be overlooking a garden they were , in fact, in a dark hallway covered with plastic flowers and drapes. The pool was dark and stained and cramped- totally uninviting. The building is located out of town on a very busy and noisy stretch. The owner was rude to us and told us to mind our own business when we shared with a staff that the building is listed for sale at a local realtor.

- Die Unterkunft war mit Hervorragend taxiert , ein Hauptgrund für unsere Buchung . Ehrlich , wer um Himmelswillen gibt dieser Absteige ein Hervorragend ?? Das war das schlechteste Hotel auf meiner Reise , und das für 110 $ ! Der Empfang an der durch den Mitarbeitet schlecht , unmotiviert und unfreundlich, das Zimmer ein zusammen gestelltes Wirrwarr von Möbeln , das Bett knarrend bei jeder Bewegung, der Safe fällt auseinander, die Dusch ohne Wasserdruck und mit glück warmem Wasser , die Toiletten Spülung funktionierte nur bedingt ! Der Pool , da stehen Plastikliegen IM Pool ! Kein mensch hat diesen benutzt bei unserem Aufenthalt, verständlicherweise .Abfluss in der Dusche schimmlig !

- Dekoration, Lage, Flexibilität, nicht komfortables Federbett und durchgelegene viel zu flache Kopfkissen

+ Las instalaciones súper lindas, el personal del área de recepción muy amable.

- No me parece conveniente que se le tome fotos a las tarjetas y pésimo trato del guarda de seguridad que cubre por las noches hacia el huésped.

+ Gutes Frühstück.

- In unserem Zimmer im Erdgeschoss war es extrem feucht und stickig. An den Wänden, der Decke, den Vorhängen und im Badezimmer war überall sichtbarer Schimmel. Haben uns in dem Zimmer sehr unwohl gefühlt.

- The property has no secure parking which was a deal breaker for us; we did not notice this when booking. Unfortunately there was a no cancellation policy for the reservation and the hotel was not prepared to return any funds on our cancellation, only offering us a voucher for a stay later in the year when we will not be in Costa Rica. Our mistake, but still a little disappointing.

+ Authentische Unterkunft, sehr freundliches Personal, schicker Pool, Betten bequem, sehr gutes Frühstück. Lage etwas außerhalb des Trubels, dennoch alles fußläufig erreichbar.

+ La chambre était grande avec tout le nécessaire. La piscine est très bien pour se relaxer après la plage

+ Simple breakfast in a lovely setting. I liked being away from the chaos of town. Pool area was peaceful. Room was a bit dark but i was happy that it was quiet. Staff were lovely.

+ Nette kleines Hotel in Strandnähe. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

+ Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das außerordentlich freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal, das jederzeit bemüht war, unseren Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Die Zimmerausstattung entsprach der Beschreibung, sodass es hier keine negativen Überraschungen gab. Auch die Lage des Hotels ist gut und bietet eine praktische Ausgangsbasis für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung.

- Bei der Sauberkeit sehen wir jedoch Verbesserungsbedarf. Im Badezimmer befanden sich Spinnenweben und im Zimmer lagen teilweise tote Insekten. Das hinterlässt leider keinen besonders gepflegten Eindruck. Ein absolutes No-Go für uns war zudem ein einzelner Wellensittich, der in einem kleinen, kargen Käfig im Frühstücksraum gehalten wurde – direkt zwischen Kaffeemaschine und Feuerlöscher. Diese Situation empfanden wir als inakzeptabel. Wellensittiche sind soziale Tiere, die nicht allein gehalten werden sollten und ausreichend Platz sowie eine artgerechte Umgebung benötigen. Die Unterbringung in einem so kleinen Käfig an einem solchen Ort wirkt weder tiergerecht noch passend für einen Bereich, in dem Gäste frühstücken. Wir haben die Situation auch fotografisch dokumentiert und das Thema bereits in einem persönlichen Gespräch angesprochen. An dieser Stelle möchten wir das Hotel nochmals ausdrücklich bitten, die Haltung des Tieres zu überdenken und im Sinne des Tierwohls und des Tierschutzes zu verbessern. Eine tiergerechte Unterbringung sollte aus unserer Sicht selbstverständlich sein.

+ Me gustó mucho el trato de las muchachas que trabajan ahí la vdd un lugar recomendado para ir a vacacionar las instalaciones muy lindas

+ Tout! L’emplacement est genial; le centre ville est accessible à pied et en poucette ( route toute plate, pas de dénivelé). Plein de petit restaurant tout près si on ne veut pas trop marcher. L hôtel est magnifique, les chambres sont super bien équipées, tout fonctionne dedans, pas de mauvaise surprise. Le personnel est très professionnel et très bien organisé ! Le petit déjeuner super avec plusieurs choix !!
