La limpieza y el personal perfecto. El hotel muy feo. Olor a la mañana de comida cuando cocinaban. Y se escuchaban todo lo que hablaban en el hall de ingreso. El baño en planta baja.
The cleanliness and the perfect staff. the hotel very ugly. the smell of the morning meal when they cooked. and you could hear everything they were talking about in the lobby. the bathroom downstairs.
The cheapest $15 dollar room was not clean. Dirty and hair on the bedsheet :(. And the toilet is downstairs and is the lobby toilet. It felt wrong to shower here so I didn’t. Can’t stay more than 1 night. I guess the other rooms are better, just don’t choose this one unless desperate. Saw 2 other girls there, otherwise nobody really stays here. Restaurant never used. Next door to Jasmine Ha Giang office. And Starbucks.

The staff is very friendly but the room is rustic.
Our room was dirty. It still had the hair on the bed and trash on the floor from the previous guest. The communal bathroom was only a single right off the main lobby downstairs. It was very inconvenient to wait for the bathroom and go downstairs everything we needed it. I would not stay here again. The staff during the day were friendly and helpful
Good place really nice room and friendly staff - only issue was air con was broken for 3/4 nights. We got a good discount off the room for it though.

The Manager at this Hotel goes over & above what one would expect, if you have a query or a problem, Peter will quickly & efficiently resolve any issue, his memory of the different outings, including costs of said trips, & the different modes of transport associated is impressive, the included breakfast was worth five stars. While i only stayed for 12 nights, he covered for others who were on holiday break, working 17 - 18 a day every day, & still functioning at 100% with a laugh & a smile.
Good place in a good location. Not a fan of sharing a bathroom/shower combo with several people despite being in a private though.

Exceptional The staff were excellent. They helped me online book my tour Ha Giang Loop and sapa and ha long bay when I arrived. When I did arrive they helped me with airport transfers and where to visit nearby. The restaurant food was delicious. The room itself was very nice also.

AMAZING, can’t wait to come back! Central, clean and comfortable, really great value for money. We had initially booked 1 night here but ended up extending as the hotel and in particular the staff were amazing. So warm and welcoming, out of every accommodation we stayed in - in Vietnam this was our favourite. Awesome budget hotel. Really great breakfast with fruit, variety of hot foods, cakes, etc. They let me store my luggage there while I did the ha giang loop for a week which was so kind. Room was clean and comfortable. Walkable to everything. My private room did have the bathroom downstairs but it was okay.
peter the owner is awesome and very willing to help with any questions or booking of onward travel. private room was cozy although we had to use the public washroom downstairs because there wasn’t one on our floor/in room. breakfast was amazing!!!
Great location and a good price for a private room. Only complaint is that my room sat above reception and could hear a lot of noise

Super hotel. Für Einzelzimmer ist das Badezimmer ein Stockwerk unterhalb. Ist ein wenig lästig. Ansonsten 10/10 Sternen! gerne wieder
great hotel. for single rooms the bathroom is one floor below. is a bit annoying. otherwise 10/10 stars! gladly return

really enjoyed my stay at the hanoi hotel royal. it is clean, safe, has a perfect location in the old quarter and the staff is amazing. they helped me so much by planning all my trips to Halong Bay, Ha Giang Loop and a tour to pu luong and ninh binh. so they also offer many local tours which I was very happy about. every trip was perfectly planned and they made me feel really comfortable for my first stay in vietnam starting in hanoi. :)
