Hostel Mundo Joven Catedral

The public area and staffs are awesome, but the bed sheets are not clean, I get a lot bed bug bites.

The most horrible hostel that I've ever stayed in Mexico. My room is facing inside patio, while the patio is totally blocked, which technically you don't have ventilation, in addition to all the shower room is facing to the same patio, the room is like a sauna, but the hostel doesn't have any fan, it is difficult to sleep at night. As the other guest have the same problem, the whole building even the toilet will open the window, all the noise will make it worse. Under this situation, the environment inside the room is also horrible, I got bed bug biting over my stay, even when I checked-in, the bed sheet has some dirt on it which is really disgusting. Though they have a perfect location, but definitely overcharged. If you want to have a real rest, stay away from this place!

Have stayed here multiple times before with no issues. Tonight, I woke up at 2 in the morning, itching all over. Turned on the lights, and found that the bed was infested with bedbugs. I went down and got the night manager, brought him up to the room and showed him. He took pictures of the bugs. He said "What do you want to do?" I said "I want to sleep in a bed that isn't infested with bugs." He said "I have another room, but it's more expensive." I demanded my money back, and found another hotel. I won't go back. Picture shows the welts that are all over my body.

Me he hospedado en varios hoteles de la zona y he tenido la mala suerte de encontrarme chinches . Este era la excepción siempre con habitaciones muy limpias .. llevo mas de un año llegando a hospedar esporádicamente con ustedes,pero esta última ocación me dieron una habitación en pésimas condiciones las ventanas no cerraban ,el techo con humedad, los baños compartidos sucios y descuidados y lo peor de todo "Chinches "mi esposo y yo quedamos picoteados y soy alérgica ...siempre todo muy bien ,pero esta ocasión estoy decepcionada 😦

Excelente ubicación , buenas habitaciones, iluminadas , ventiladas, gran amabilidad y precio. El lugar tiene mucha limpieza pero mi habitación tenía bedbugs y termine con ronchas por todo el cuerpo, sugiero fumigar más seguido. En el desayuno otra huésped se quejaba de sus ronchas en la cara también. Otra área de oportunidad es arreglar el sistema de llaves electrónica para que el guardiá no deba ir a cada habitación a abrir cada que entras /sales Si volveria, todos fueron extremadamente amables
