When I showed up for my booking, I was assigned a room. I went to said room and tried my key. The key card worked but the light turned red when I tried to get inside. The receptionist said that meant it was locked from the inside. He came up with me to unlock the door. He did not knock or announce to the guest inside that he was opening the door, instead just put the master key in the door and fully opened it. A guest and their partner were inside in their pajamas in bed. The receptionist told them that the room had been booked and the other bed needed to be emptied so that I could stay. The guests partner was in the other bed. They began to have a conversation in another language with the receptionist. I had to squeeze past the receptionist who was still in the doorway and who had motioned earlier for me to enter the room. I felt very bad for the guests. they were in a vulnerable state and had no warning. The receptionist said there was an issue with the booking system and went downstairs to “figure it out.” I stood in the hallway for 10min until he came back and told me I was on another floor. He opened the door of my newly assigned room, this time knocking first, and a male presenting person opened the door. I was placed in a mixed room after I had booked a female room. The receptionist did not inform me that I would be bunking with a male. I had to ask the next day when checking out if I was put in a mixed room. No one warned me or apologized for the inconvenience. I was very understanding of the situation and kind towards the receptionist. He was fine and respectful but never apologized for the inconvenience. When I was checking out, I had to ask if I was put in a room with a male. The woman working had a convo with the man working overnight in another language. She confirmed I was placed in a mixed room, but I was lucky I got a bed at all since it was the last available bed in the hostel. No compensation offered or apology

La habitación que nos dieron tenía chinches. Al comunicar la situación en recepción nos cambiaron a otra habitación, y unicamente tras pedirlo nos dieron una indemnización de 30€ que no cubre ni la mitad del coste de lavanderia de algunas prendas.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience; there were bedbugs in the bed, and I stayed up all night. They bit me terribly. I hope the hotel administrator will take measures in time.

I stayed at this hostel from June 24th to 27th, and it was a nightmare. Unfortunately, I only discovered the bedbug bites two days after I had already left. The bites quickly worsened, and more than two weeks later, I am still recovering, both physically and emotionally. I immediately contacted the hostel by email, explaining the situation and asking for an inspection, proper disinfestation, or at least a response. They never replied. No apology, no concern, nothing! This is a serious health and hygiene issue, and their complete lack of accountability is unacceptable. I strongly urge others to stay far away from this place. No one should go through what I did.

Je n'ai jamais écrit de commentaire, mais je voulais vraiment le faire car je pense qu'il est juste que lorsqu'une personne choisit de venir dans cette auberge, elle sache déjà ce qui l'attend. J'ai séjourné dans cette auberge la première semaine d'avril avec ma classe pendant 6 nuits et voici ce que j'ai trouvé. Chambre : la chambre que j'ai occupée était prévue pour 4 personnes, littéralement trop petite pour 4 hommes et 4 valises, à tel point que nous avons dû déplacer une chaise et une table sur le balcon pour gagner quelques centimètres. Les draps étaient sales, les miens avaient encore des taches blanches le jour de mon arrivée. En fait, je ne sais pas si c'était dû à des punaises de lit ou simplement à un manque d'hygiène de la part de l'auberge, mais j'ai eu, avec deux autres gars de ma chambre, une éruption cutanée très désagréable sur les jambes, qui a définitivement affecté mon voyage scolaire de manière négative. La salle de bain était très petite, il était difficile de se déplacer dans la douche et elle était inondée à chaque fois. Accueil/service : l'accueil était variable, les personnes présentes le matin et l'après-midi étaient souvent occupées à regarder leurs affaires sur leur téléphone et ne disaient pas bonjour quand vous entriez, les seuls étaient les deux gars qui travaillaient la nuit et qui étaient très sympathiques. Quant aux cartes, elles n'arrêtaient pas de se démagnétiser, en fait il est arrivé plusieurs fois que nous arrivions au cinquième étage, que nous essayions d'ouvrir la porte et que nous redescendions à la réception parce que la carte ne fonctionnait pas. Quant au petit déjeuner, je ne veux pas me tromper mais c'était 4 euros par personne, ce qui était offert tous les jours c'était un croissant et un morceau de pain avec du beurre et de la confiture, je recommande à tout le monde de ne pas le prendre et d'aller dans une boulangerie car c'est vraiment triste comme petit déjeuner pour commencer une journée, surtout si vous êtes à Paris. Pour la salle où vous prenez votre petit-déjeuner, je vous recommande fortement d'y aller tôt le matin car sinon vous risquez de ne pas trouver de place car elle est très petite et vous risquez d'avoir une classe comme la nôtre qui occupe tous les sièges. Emplacement : très bon, à proximité de deux arrêts de métro et d'un arrêt de bus où passe le bus de nuit. Enfin, j'aimerais souligner que le but de cette critique est simplement d'informer les clients afin qu'ils soient déjà conscients de la mauvaise qualité du service pour lequel ils dépensent de l'argent et non pas de saboter l'auberge, car c'est un effet secondaire de leur incapacité à offrir un endroit propre et confortable pour dormir.

This place is a nightmare!!! They had a bedbug infestation and when I refused to stay and asked for my money back they had the gall to argue with me. Now I have my bank involved to force them to pay me back. Horrible people to deal with. Truly a disgrace.

Hôtel à fuir !!! Au secours Punaises de lit, taches sur tous les draps, chambre pas nettoyé, objets appartenant aux anciens clients, et j’en passe… Avec un personnel indifférent face à ces informations.

Propreté des chambres à revoir, à notre arrivée nous avons trouvés un rasoir usagé dans la salle de bain, des draps tachés de sang et autres substances, des amas de poussière sous les lits ainsi que des punaises de lit à plusieurs reprises. Malgré ces remontées d’informations au personnel de l’accueil, celui ci nous a demander de remonter dans nos chambres sans y remédier. La salle du petit déjeuner est étroite, cependant sa composition est correcte (si vous aimez le sucré). Hôtel non recommandé pour nous.

Definitivamente no es lo que esperaba, lo publicitado en las fotografías no corresponde con la realidad. Estuve en dos habitaciones: -la primera compartida, eran dos literas en un cuarto de tres metros cuadrados, no tiene locker, clóset ni ningún tipo de espacio para almacenar tus pertenencias. Las personas chocan a cada rato entre sí por qué no hay espacio para transitar. - la segunda pequeña igual, pero ahí si pude inspeccionar más a detalle y estaba sucia, demasiado polvo debajo de la cama, me encontré un calcetín sucio quién sabe de hace cuanto que no barrían. Ahí tuve una experiencia desagradable pues las camas tenían chinches y nos picaron a mi hermana y a mi. Adicional el cuarto apestaba a tabaco. En general, no volvería por las condiciones de higiene deplorables que se tienen, las habitaciones extremadamente pequeñas y poco seguras. No se tiene lugar para resguardar objetos de valor en el cuarto, hay locker en pasillos pero dice claramente que no se hacen responsables por robos. Muy mala experiencia, aún seguimos con ronchas en cara y cuerpo.

Nothing about my stay was acceptable. When we first got there, even though I'd given all my card information via booking to pay by card, they refused, saying it didn't work and forced me to go and get cash instead of fixing the problem. There was mold in the shower and barely enough room to move around. The shower was to small to shower comfortably. The service was neither nice nor helpful, we asked multiple times to unbook our stay because of these matters but they refused. On top of it all they gave us bedbugs, and again, refused to help us out with the issue or do anything about it, of what I understood from their e-mail they haven't even decontaminated the room.

Premièrement le personnel, notamment les femmes à l'accueil sont loin d'être aimables. La carte de la bagagerie ne marchait pas et quand je l'ai signalé à la dame, elle a soupiré et levé les yeux au ciel. Alors que la carte était en effet démagnétisée. Même mépris dès que l'on a la moindre question. Les espaces communs sont vraiment bofs. Il n'y a pas de cuisine pour se faire à manger ou de frigo pour stocker sa nourriture. La chambre était très petite et on se marchait dessus. Il n'y a aucune intimité. Les lits grincent et la couverture est très fine. Pas de barrière aux lits en hauteur et le matelas n'est vraiment pas large. J'avais peur de tomber dans la nuit 😅. La salle de bain est minuscule et à la moindre douche, elle finissait inondée. L'alarme à incendie s'est déclenchée et dans la même soirée on a eu une coupure d'électricité juste dans notre étage pendant un long moment. (Ça ce n'est pas grave). Il n'y a pas de casier dans la chambre pour mettre ses affaires mais de tout petits casiers dans le couloir. Le matin, la responsable et une employée discutaient de l'intervention d'un professionnel suite à de nombreux signalements dans les chambres. Je ne sais pas s'il été question de punaises de lits mais elles disaient qu'il fallait rester discret et dire que l'intervention n'était qu'à titre de prévention. De même, cette même responsable et employée cassaient du sucre sur tous les autres employés et les critiquaient tous un par un. Je trouve ça très indélicats de faire ceci, d'autant plus devant des clients.

I have traveled a lot and been to many hostels, but this was the first time in my life I was bitten by bedbugs. I understand that it’s very difficult for hostels as travelers might bring them with them from other places, but I am so paranoid now that I brought them back home, which really sucks. And they don’t provide any shower gel or shampoo, which I think is a bit weird for that pricing…

Never got a towel change or a bed remake in 5 days of staying. Get cleaned only the bath. We found bedbugs, but the hotel stay was cheap enough for forgot that

I got some bedbug bites from here and it was my first stay in Paris. I think the pricing could be a little cheaper since it is very cramped and the cleanliness is just okay.
