WOT Lodge Soul

This place ist NOT a HOSTEL! It’s a big house with different rooms. There is a very small “living room”and a small “kitchen”. But the reception is at another place(!) so you never have the feeling of hostel, where people check in/out. The name Lodge is absolutely wrong, everything is old and rusty. The only good thing is the comfortable bed and the place in the very center of the city. If you just need this, then it’s quite good. If uou want the hostel-groove, it’s the wrong place!

Hostel wirkt sehr herunrergekommen.

We ended up wanting to stay an extra night in Ericeira and this hostel was available. The offsite check in was a bit inconvenient and not very well communicated. Also the key that we were given did not work so we had to get it fixed. The communal areas were funky and vibe was essentially that there wasn’t a vibe. We stayed in a private room which was clean. It was a more affordable option for a last minute book and the location is good.

Perfect location, cosy area, nice room for four with our own porch and balkony. Lovely view over rooftops and eaven the sea. Not so very fresh common areas and the kitschen was unhygienic, lacked proper utilities to make dinner. You can not be picky if you stay here.

Die Lage ist wirklich top und das Zimmer sehr schön! Leider ist das Bad etwas schimmelig und der Duschvorhang war schon eklig. Auch gab es beim Duschen nicht immer warmes Wasser. Aber wenn man hierauf nicht allzu viel Wert legt, ist die Unterkunft definitiv zu empfehlen.
