   Liked the location, took my request for bottom bunk & the people I met there. Did cook a bbq for guests (didn’t attend as vegetarian) and sangria nights (just alcohol in a glass jar) for guests if they want to mingle. - wifi was not going to our room on ground floor and staff are aware, yet no boosters. had to use my own data. - had to ask for toilet roll to be added as not monitored, no toilet roll holder either so unhygienic. - mould on black and gold shower curtains, and on shower trays. - no shampoo, conditioner or body wash provided. - AC unit in rooms that have a big silver tube going out of a window for the air, so the window to stay open whilst people are outside talking all night or bbq smells come into the female room on ground floor, so loud and dusty - ear plugs are a must. - cobwebs were by my plug unit on the corner of the bed. - doors have NO LOCKS so anyone can go in to any room. For a female dorm this needs to be reassessed due to potential safety concerns. - the pillows are floppy and placid, awful nights sleep - bring your own. - the place itself is clean and relatively tidy. - owner owns a few hostels and a bar I was told, so includes that bar on a pub crawl. If the owner is profiting from 50USD/ 40GBP per night plus from a bar, more investment into the property is needed as it is not acceptable for the price charged to have all these issues.

   It has curtains on the bed which gave you some privacy. There are only 2 toilets for the entire hostel. The door to the dorms doesn’t close properly or lock. I was in an all girls dorm and had male staff come into our room outside of cleaning time. It was not clean there were cockroaches in the kitchen and my bedding had stains on it. I left 2 nights early because it was just not a nice vibe or space

   • Tuve un inconveniente de acoso por parte de otro huésped (que hablando con más personas supe que no era la primera vez que él causaba problemas en el hostal). Ese tipo dormía al lado de mi cama en un cuarto mixto y no hubo contacto (porque estuve siempre alerta) pero él me dijo abiertamente que quería ya saben qué.

   Intenté escribir mi reseña en Booking, pero simplemente no se pudo. Entonces la dejo por aquí. ✅👌 La ubicación es genial porque está cerca de restaurantes y karaokes/bar con menos de 8 minutos de caminata. Alguna gente del personal y del hostal en general fueron muy amables como Emmanuele es muy amigable, respetuoso y nos llevó a miradores hermosos para ver el atardecer, también cocinó para nosotros. Javier también fue amable y nos llevó a los bares por allá. En general conocí a mucha gente buena y amable ahí, inclusive hice nuevos amigos. Claro la vibra es muy de fiesta, entonces si no te gusta el escándalo no es tu lugar. ❌👎🛑 El hostal se quedó sin agua al segundo día de llegar (aunque es algo que no está en sus manos) igual podrían tener un abastecimiento de agua para todos los huéspedes. No me pasó a mí pero los demás me dijeron que al bañarse por la noche el agua era fría, incluso de mañana en un día nublado, esto porque las regaderas funcionan con paneles solares. *Esto sí es experiencia mía* ❌👎Tuve un inconveniente de acoso por parte de otro huésped (que hablando con más personas supe que no era la primera vez que él causaba problemas en el hostal). Con todo mi enojo y molestia a las 2 am envié mensajes a 3 hombres diferentes también hospedados en ese hostal. Emmanuel (a quien ya mencioné antes) fue bastante protector, amable, humano y empático conmigo, él me ayudó. La mañana siguiente de eso cuando contacté al dueño me dijo que iba a echarlo del hostal, PERO me preguntó por cuánto tiempo más iba yo a quedarme ahí... esa pregunta bastante sospechosa, como diciendo "ok si te vas pronto no lo echaré". Al otro día hablé con las demás mujeres tanto empleadas (voluntariadas) y viajeras y eran más de 5 mujeres que tuvieron experiencias de acoso con el mismo hombre. Pregunté si se quejarin antes pero no fue así. Por la noche ese hombre estaba sacando sus cosas del hostal PERO el dueño no lo estaba echando como dijo sino que lo estaba mudando a su otro hostal que está prácticamente en frente de Macarena Beach Hostel. Aquí la cosa es que no cortó o se deshizo del problema, solo lo pasó a otro lado (lo cual no es bueno para las personas que se hospedan en el mismo sitio). La mañana siguiente uno de los hombres que también se hospedó en su segundo hostal nos contó que el hombre acosador también causó problemas con unas personas y estaban peleando entonces tuvieron que llamar a la patrulla. ⁉️⁉️⁉️Mi opinión y observación: ¿de verdad es más importante para el dueño el dinero que le pueda generar un solo hombre que la seguridad y protección de múltiples personas que también pagan por estar en su hostal? Ese hostal tiene un ambiente que a veces supera el límite, una cosa es fiesta y otra cosa es desorden y problemas. ‼️‼️‼️‼️Mi consejo: el dueño debe salvaguardar a sus trabajadoras, trabajadores y clientes (huéspedes) a modo de que se sientan cómodos para poder volver a hospedarse en su hostal. Si no es capaz de hacerlo no debería estar al mando de éste.

Sus behaviour, then when I asked if they’d had my AirPods headed in he returned with 4 pairs he had “found” and then asked if they were sellable when I said none of them were mine.

   Cheap for each night, which is good and the guests are pretty friendly Staff aren’t very helpful, had some AirPods stolen. Only people in and out of the room were people staying in there and workers, when I returned to my room way after check out one staff member was in my room looking into people beds when the curtain was drawn.    Bathrooms are very dirty, shower too. No locks for your stuff. They say you can leave your luggage at reception but its basically in the hallway and the hostel door is always open and no one is at reception. Air conditioning is false advertising. Would avoid this place at all costs

   If hygiene and safety are things you enjoy DON’T stay here. Front door and doors to rooms are open and unlocked so anyone could walk in. Only 3 toilets for the whole place which were filthy and weren’t restocked. Showers were cold and the floors/mats were soaked our entire stay. When came time for checkout had to wait over half an hour for someone to find a payment machine which was taken off site to a bar, so we couldn’t leave when we needed too. The only good thing about this place is location

   Our stay at this hostel was disappointing and we left early due to serious cleanliness and security concerns. The bathroom had visible mold, the front door was usually open and the door to our room didn’t lock (which felt unsafe as female travelers), and we even noticed mushrooms growing by the sink. Additionally, reception was not readily available. When we informed the hostel about our concerns and requested a refund for the nights we didn’t stay, our message was ignored. It’s disappointing that there was no effort to address or acknowledge the situation. I would not recommend this hostel. I hope management takes steps to improve cleanliness, safety, and communication with guests.

   Staff were great, the owner was super nice. The rooms didn’t have locks on them unfortunately. A drunk guy walked into our room and took up one of the beds and was slurring throughout the night. Definetly need better security as the situation could have been a lot worse.

   I would not recommend this hostel if you are a female solo traveler. I came here because a friend had a really good experience but that was not the case for me. Doors would not lock, there was not enough restrooms for the amount of people staying there, staff made inappropriate comments, hygiene was not the best and toilet paper ran out pretty fast and would not always be replaced. Would not come back.

    as a solo female traveller, i would NEVER stay here again. the doors do not lock and the male staff will walk in freely, even in female dorms. i have never felt as unsafe as i did at this hostel. the mattresses are mouldy, and the beds do not have curtains. 1 person even had an allergic reaction to the mould, and 2 people i met had to leave early because of the conditions. i find it weird that they cannot afford basic hygiene but they have the budget for a hot tub and a sauna.

    The location is great. My biggest complaint is the lack of security. None of the rooms had locks, and staff would walk into the room with out knocking. They would leave the front door wide open during the day. Anyone could have walked in off the street and let themselves into you room. Lockers were to small to lock everything up.

    Good location Cheap and cheerful Good kitchen facilities Check in staff were awesome Squeaky beds No Spa or Sauna working 12 bed dorm super noisey with everyone banging out the doors all hours, or just leaving them open.. didn’t feel safe.. Not really safe with all the doors open, no locks on doors. Disappointed when wanting to extend trip, they wanted you to pack up. Check out and re check in at 3pm!! Showers cold and limited privacy. Would I stay again. No. But it was an experience.
