The property is at good location. I would definitely mention that Pods are small for two people and with bags and eveything, its quite compact. Breakfast is also fresh. Its just some cold breakfast like eggs that you can boil and bread-butter etc.
Bad experience with the owner. He is not service oriented, money oriented for sure. His Spanish isn't good either.Worst service I have experienced in Mexico there, stayed in 4 other places before!Make sure you like cats, as there are many and eating in your plates on a regular basis, jumping on tables of the kitchen etc.Small bugs in the room, like mini spiders on my first day, but personally didn't mind, just saying for those who do.Quite noisy at night until 11pmish because live music close by
The hostel is located on the outskirts of Tulum, so 15-20 bike minutes to the beach, still there’s a lot of shops, bars and restaurants around. The hostel is clean, very beautifully decorated, has plenty of clean bathrooms and a very well-equipped kitchen. The tubes have air conditioning but are very small, so there’s not really a lot of space to organize or put your luggage which can be inconvenient. It’s not a super social and definitely not a backpacker vibe but still has a common area
Cute hostel, nice atmosphere, clean and well equipped kitchen, cute common area! I also liked that the breakfast includes fresh fruit! The tubes are a bit small for two people+backpacks. There is storage space under the bed but if both people want to take out stuff from their backpacks at the same time, it’s a bit tight :) Location is a bit far from the city center but there are many Restaurants and a big chedraui Supermarkt very close to the hostel.
The hostel has a great vibe - a little jungle garden in the city! It's also very clean. The host is so friendly and super helpful with info about tours and other things to do/see + how to get there. The tube was cute, but a tiny bit too small for all our stuff. Also the AC worked only on one mode: freezer. And the room does heat up quite fast. So we had to turn it on and off again during the night. I would say that's the only slightly negative thing about our stay. Would definitely recommend!
The place was very interesting, walking distance to the restaurants and street food. Big supermarket nearby as well. We had a parking spot outside for our rental car. Quiet location. Hosts were very nice and gave us helpful tips! The tube itself can be a bit small, specially if you are travelling with larger backpacks. They have bike rentals on-site for 200 pesos. Beer there is 40 pesos. Tulum is expensive! Not many free or cheap places to go anymore...
Super Sweet, gefühlt in der Natur mitten in der Stadt. Die Tubes sind vollkommen okay, das Frühstück wirklich super. Alles in allem Sehr zufrieden.

Mais attention « taxes incluses » mais sans compter les « extras taxes » : 30$MXD/nuit/personne à payer en plus au check-in (bien compter soit même,on nous a fait payer le double, puis remboursé) et pas de petit déjeuner inclus avec une réservation sur Hostelworld
But beware taxes included but not counting extra taxes : 30$MXD/night/person to be paid in addition to check-in (well even count, we were made to pay double, then refunded) and no breakfast included with a reservation on Hostelworld
Great novelty hostel. Really clean and well located. Staff broadly great but we were annoyed we were told taxes included and then had to pay additional when we arrived- a little frustrating.

My partner and I only stayed here for one night so can't comment to social events. The tubes are small and can be tight for two people but a bit of novelty if you're here for a shorter stay. Good bathroom facilities, clean and spacious. Good kitchen and communal space. Staff are very friendly and helpful. And there is cats!!
Awesome place to stay! squeaky clean bathroom and tube, restaurants and supermarket nearby, definitely would stay again.
Booked 2 nights, ended up staying 4. Richie and Dani are fantastic - they really went out of their way to help me have a great experience of Tulum and it made my trip to Mexico. The hostel is great for the price, especially if you want a private room. It was also quiet when I arrived, so there weren't many other travellers. On the downside the breakfast is very basic, but I can't complain considering the price.
Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Wir haben im Zelt geschlafen, leider gab es kein Stromanschluss direkt im Zelt. Die Zelte stehen unter einem Unterstand, sodass die Rücksäcke auch außerhalb des Zeltes vor Regen geschützt sind. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, hier kann man hervorragend kochen.
We slept in the tent, unfortunately there was no electricity directly in the tent. the tents are under a shelter, so the backpacks are protected from rain even outside the tent. the kitchen is very well equipped, you can cook here superbly.

nice hostel. some odors from time to time. but we asked to change rooms and they did it directly.
Great place if you want to do day trips. It's close to all the buses. You can rent bikes to go to the beach. The staff was so helpful and friendly and made our stay very comfortable. The cats and dogs were also very friendly, but not so helpful :-).
It's a very cool idea, a nice place, feels like a jungle, and it's peaceful to eat and sit outside. It's a good location! If i ever comeback i definately stay in same place next time.

It's so nice we've decided to stay on a while longer. Very quaint set up. Really helpful, price checked trips for us, given us loads of hints and tips of where to go and how to get there. Air con cools the tubo's down in less than minute so really don't need them on for any length of time. Great kitchen and bathroom facilities. Owners around for most of the time and really friendly.

Had a great week at Tubo. Staff was super helpful, they really make sure you are happy. Location is great, an easy bike ride from the beach and central Tulum. They have bikes for rent. Price was very reasonable. The tubes are small, but not too small. Location is quiet, it's not a party hostel, which is perfect if you want to relax. There's lots of cats and dogs on site. Also, the mosquitoes are savage at night, so use repellant! Would highly recommend Tubo!

Great location close to town and close to the beach. What’s best are the Big comfy beds and your own room with ac.

TIENE LO NECESARIO Es un ambiente muy tranquilo y en area comun ponen musica muy linda Los baños estan muy limpios y en buenas condiciones El personal es muy amable, te dan sugerencias sobre lugares a visitar y te dicen la verdad sobre aquellos que no valen la pena tienen gatitos y son rescatados, son muy lindos y parte de la buena vibra del lugar. REGRESARIA
It has what it needs It is a very quiet environment and in the common area they play very nice music The bathrooms are very clean and in good condition The staff is very friendly, they give you suggestions on places to visit and tell you the truth about those that are not worth having kittens and are rescued, they are very cute and part of the good vibe of the place.
