This brand doesn't care about anything,they just get your money fast during booking,and then their job is done.I'm sure during the opening year this must've been a great hostel but now it's extremely run-down,it's a shame cause the events were good.Big common areas,all of them covered in dust and dirt,as is everything on both floors.Dirty rooms,stained bedding,mattresses,curtains, floor,walls etc.Maybe people don't care much cause it's a party hostel but cleanliness is a must.

You have to pay 15€ to leave your bag the day you leave. First time I see so bad conditions

You cannot leave any bog for the day you leave. You have to pay 15€. The basis of hôtellerie and Hospitality is not respected .

I’ve stayed at 40+ hostels and have never given a poor review anywhere, but after staying here I feel obligated to do so as it was the worst hostel I ever stayed at. They told me I couldn’t check in even though my bed was ready. I had to put the sheets the mattress on myself! Beds were real uncomfortable and I had rashes all over my skin. They purposely don’t let you cook there so you have to pay for food at their bar, even charging € for luggage storage. Really antisocial & cringe vibe ...

1:28 in the midnight on the 4th of April, I’m in the mixed room 533 and the music from the lobby is so loud that it’s impossible to sleep even put earplugs on. The hostel holds a dancing party in the lobby. Very not cool.

Leider enttäuschend: Ich hatte 2025 insgesamt 8 separate Übernachtungen im JO&JOE Wien. Bei mehreren dieser Aufenthalte wurden meine ALL (Accor) Statusnächte/Punkte nicht zuverlässig übertragen, obwohl ich direkt über die ALL-App gebucht habe. Best hostel I’ve stayed at. Staff were nice and gave me great recommendations on what to do. The room and was clean and the bed was comfy and had curtains. It is perfectly located right near the metro.

Zimmer / Nasszelle nicht richtig sauber, Fugen schimmelig, WC riecht nach Urin, nur Estrichboden. Wenn die marginale tägliche Reinigung vergessen wird, wird es bei der Mehrbettbelegung ganz arg - Zimmer sind nicht toll. Rezeption spricht teils nur Englisch (in Österreich). Dafür: Lage am Westbh gut, gute, saubere Gemeinschaftsflächen (sehe ich als Service), daher hierfür je 4 Sterne.

Good facilities, somewhat social. Would be nice to have curtains on the beds to make them more private

Best hostel I’ve stayed at. Location was perfect and facility was clean. The staff were very nice as well. Would definitely recommend. It’s very close to the metro and easy to get to all the sights in Vienna.

Her şeyiyle tek kelime ile mükemmel, çalışanlar harika özellikle Kenyaya özel teşekkür etmek istiyorum mükemmel bir ağırlama, işini severek yaptığı çok belli herkese böyle çalışan lazım o derece güzel,kibar ve ilgili biri. Temizlik açısından gayet iyiydi. Konumu mükemmel. Verdiğiniz parayı sonuna kadar hak ediyor kesinlikle özellikle yalnız gezen kişilere tavsiyemdir.

beds are not comfertable and pillow is really uncofertable but besides theese its verry good rooms look like a 10 star hostel you have to stay in there and do not go in front of the hostel after 22.00 people are dangerous around

My experience in Jo&Joe was the best I’ve ever had in a hostel. The staff is helpful and nice, it’s a safe environment with great vibes, the room was clean, confy and with good design to have max of privacy. The location is also great because it’s near a metro station, but you can also get to the city center in 30 min in a pleasant walk.

Établissement similaire à un hôtel, j’y ai passé une nuit et tout s’est bien passé. Il s’agit d’un établissement moderne et propre, cependant un peu éloigné du centre ville mais reste accessible par les transports.

It was really great I really love the location. But I just have suggestions if maybe we can cook a bit even just steaming our veggies or cook our own foods. And the door, I think it would be better if there is a sign to close it slowly. Especially at nights its a bit loud! Everytime I hear it makes me nervous especially when I am trying to sleep. But all experience was good and we already recommend it to our friends!

Coole Unterkunft, Preis passt auch. Nan liegt zentral am Westbahnhof und gat mit Bus, Zug und U Bahn Anschlussmöglichkeiten. Hatten ein Einzelzimmer gebucht, man jann aber auch im Mehrbettzimmer unterkommen.

Zimmer sind sauber und zweckgemäß ausgestattet. Personal leider nicht ganz so freundlich!

This is a great spot with nice rooms! I do think it lacks the social aspect you would want in a hostel tbh.

super spacious rooms, under bed lockers big enough to store everything, and the events put on were great! super friendly atmosphere for solo travel, and handy that the hostel is next to a train station.

Not much of a social atmosphere. Think this is attributed to the big areas in the hostel and They have events going on from outside the hostel that doesn’t include guests. Seems like the nickel and dime you for a lot of stuff. Pay for lockers, expensive cold breakfasts. The rooms were super hot and wake up several times through the night sweating even with the room lowest setting. Lots of families, couples and really not designed to meet people. I do like the wood beds. Clean. Modern.

Stayed in a 10 bed room but didn’t feel crowded. Beds, shower & toilet clean. No issues at all and staff friendly. Sadly roof terrace wasn’t open, but still had a great stay!

Beds were good, room was large and had lockers, bring your own lock. Room had one switch for all ceiling lights, if someone came in at night they lit up the whole room. Sinks were outside of bathrooms, if someone was leaving early or coming in late, they were shuffling at the sink in the dorm. Location was ok, but getting around often required taking several means of transportation. Unfortunately, rooftop was closed during my visit. Bag storage before/after stay was fairly expensive
