Tulum in general is becoming more expensive. In comparison to other places on the strip, this is more affordable. The restaurant on site is more expensive in comparison to the cost of the hotel. This is a hotel to go to if you want to be one with nature. The infrastructure is very rustic (but chic) so you get some little critters, i.e. liz0ards, crawling about your room. Lots of mosquitos, in tulum and in your room so bring bug spray.Hotel next door is loud, so if you want quiet, bring ear plugs
