Green Cube Hostel

Lage war ganz okay. Ansonsten war die Atmosphäre leider nicht sehr "sozial", weil viele Monteure dort gewohnt haben, die einfach ihre Ruhe haben wollten. Ansonsten sind die Bäder leider sehr schmutzig. Der Boden klebt vor Urin und die Duschen riechen nach Schimmel. In meinem Zimmer fehlte das Schließfach, deshalb musste ich meine Wertsachen immer in den Luggage Room bringen - auch sehr kompliziert. Insgesamt leider keine angenehme Erfahrung, muss von dem Hostel abraten.

I had my food stolen from the fridge and staff did nothing to help. The shower situation is weird, there's one communal shower with four showerheads. I was double charged because I paid on arrival and then after I left they charged me again through Hostelworld. I was there in August in 30°C+ and the aircon wasn't working. Each of these issues on their own could be overlooked but in combination gave me a bad experience.

I was staying in room 25. The locker on the storage was out.The curtain on the bad was ripped.The front door was able to be close from outside but NOT from inside. It's a lack of maintenance 😕 The receptionist was really kind and helpful.

absolutely nasty… do not stay here!! The capsules are filthy, there was poop/blood on the wall in mine, and sticky stains on the ceiling (I dont want to know)… when I arrived my dorm smelled really odd. There is no age limit so there are strange older men staying here and it did not feel safe. I think they are allowing homeless people to live here (happy they have a place to stay but not great for solo female travellers) The bathrooms were so gross I couldnt shower..I left after one night

The only good thing about this hostel is the beds are comfortable and private with curtains. Everything else was bad, they never cleaned the floors my whole stay (bathrooms or bedrooms) kitchen had like no utensils (2 forks, 1 knife, and 1 spoon) it also doubled as the hangout area. Staff wasn’t helpful, location is far from everything. For the money it’s not worth it

Lo mejor del hostal fue el personal de recepción y limpieza, muy amables. La limpieza de las instalaciones y el ambiente en las zonas comunes podría ser muy mejorable.

For passengers in transit it's ok because it's close to the bus station. Unfortunately, I got a bed next to the bathroom and didn't sleep well due to the noise. The staff was very friendly, which is the only highlight. For the price, you can't expect much more.

I stayed for 6 nights. Pros, i like they provide containers in the kitchen for your food,clean room, private bed with 3 swtiches, warm room all the time. Very nice staff who will reccomend stuff. Cons, Shady area espcially at night, a lot of weird locals stay and are quite intimidating (i was the only person staying who felt this) one would stay in the kitchen and watch me, yell at people and once took a sponge from my hand and wouldnt let me finish. Lukewarm/cold showers always.

The two good things about this hostel is that it’s close to the main train/bus station and that the beds are comfortable. Bit of a walk from the city centre, the hostel vibes are nonexistent, the walls inside the bed cubes are very dirty, the showers need better shower curtains, laundry services weren’t available at all. The staff were super friendly though

Unfortunately there seems to be a lot of people living at the hostel currently. They are strange characters and took over the common kitchen area watching the TV on extra loud until 2am. There was one older women in my room who seemed to have some form of dementia. She kept waking everyone up and trying to move my stuff. I think the hostel should implement some sort of maximum stay to keep it to travelers. Walking distance to train station. No plates,mugs, pots etc in the kitchen.

Nice place close to the main station.

ehhhhh it’s a comfy bed to sleep in. there was a literal naked man walking around in the night and nobody closed the doors of the stalls so i saw far too much in my 3 nights here. the walls and doors are filthy and the vibes are strange. mostly older people, some homeless people it seemed. but again, it’s a comfy bed

I had a short stay here but I appreciated the towel and locker included.

The Location ist great,its close to the train and busstation, and Not to far from the city center. But the bathrooms smelled really Bad and the the rooms showed a lot of Signal of war and tear. There are locks missing for many lockers and some of the lock for my door wasn't working for most of the time either.

Beds and rooms were comfortable. Staff was very informative and helpful. Bathroom was pretty gross and not stocked at all...

It's a very good, clean and close to the train station. In case you want to be next to the center you may pick another hostel, but it's a 5-10 min walk further from other hostels. I have stayed two times, and whenever I come to Sofia again I'll book this hostel.

Quiet hostel. Not a party hostel. Just come here and sleep. Beds are in capsules and have curtains so you have a lot of privacy.

Good hostel not too social

Was only there for one night, but kind people working there and clean, also close to the busstation so very convenient

I’ve only been to three hostels in Sofia but Green Cube was by far the best. The staff were super and the bed was comfy. The bathrooms could use a little more attention but overall, it was a good stay and I would definitely return.

It’s ok. There was fluff in the linen when I checked for bugs. It was not nice even tho it had 2 cover ups after the matress. Shover and wc ok, on Sofia standards good. All and all wasn’t dissapointed and it was nice having own capsule to sleep in.
