Revolution Hostel Pai

Woke up with bed bug bites all over my arms. This just feels like a party hostel. Not the chillest.

I had a disappointing experience. I checked into a shared dorm, and on the same day, a guest warned me about bedbugs in the bed I was assigned to. When I checked, I found one and showed it to the reception. At first, they said they would move me to another room, but minutes later, they asked me to cancel my stay because “there were no beds available” — and this was already around 9 PM. To my surprise, when I searched for another place, I found availability at the same hostel on Hostelworld, but in more expensive rooms. At no point was I offered the option to upgrade, even if I was willing to pay the difference. I had to look for another hostel late at night and lost the amount I had paid on Hostelworld, since they only refunded the amount I had paid directly to the hostel. The staff were kind and apologized multiple times, but the way the hostel handled the situation was extremely frustrating. There was a lack of empathy and a fair solution for a problem that was not my fault.

We found a bed bug in our room on our first night there. The staff did move us to the other location however I think other people were put into that room the next day which is alarming. We booked this location for the pool however there was building work + no real seating so it wasn't the nicest place to spend the day. I wouldn't risk staying here and wouldn't recommend. There are more social hostels that have better atmosphere.

Very social nice hostel, some staff are so lovely however a few had an awful attitude making us feel unwelcomed after we experienced bed bugs in our bed so be aware of that 👍 However heard that Pai has a few problems for bed bugs so 100% not the hostels fault. 👍

I had bed bugs and at first, the staff didn’t want to get me another room! the „cleaning“ was to spray chemical spray in the corners one time and that’s it! staff was not really helpful with that

The bathrooms are incredibly dirty in the rooms and there were bed bugs whilst I was there. The atmosphere was ok.
