Staff was nice but found bedbugs in my bed and have bites on my body. The staff quickly gave me a new room. Later emailed them about reimbursement for cost of washing all of my clothes in a laundromat, but haven’t heard anything back from them yet.

My whole experience was wonderful! The overall rating is just not fair because this is a real hostel, with the real hostel vibe, not an improvised apartment with no common area. Let's start with the staff. They will go extra mile to comfort you, everybody was so kind and super helpful to me. Then, the breakfast! I loved it so much. It was included in the price, but if I had to pay for it, I'd do it. Ham, cheese, bread, etc. even pastel de nata and chia seeds. Common area is spacious and comfortable. There is a big kitchen with the dining area, plus the working hub with flawless Wifi. The room was okay, but you don't go to hostels to spend time in your room anyway. No bedbugs, dirty sheets nor uncomfortable beds. For 20 EUR per night I got so much!

Our stay was simply nice. No bedbugs like some of these recent comments are stating. The beds were squeaky and the 10 bunks room was way too cramped. The doors were also quite loud to open and close. Staff was regardless understanding and friendly are gave us great recommendations and a fun karaoke night. Kitchen and hang out space were spacious and lively, perfect for meeting fellow travellers. The outside hang out space was also great and the sangria was yummy and cheap !

WARNING: This place has bed bugs. Sadly, it seems that the bed bugs aren’t a concern to them. I emailed the hostel and got NO response in return. It is highly likely they will not address the problem. Aside from that, this place is not worth the money. Stayed here for 4 nights in a private room. Spend the extra few dollars to get a place that actually cleans and values its customers’ experience. We received zero cleaning services despite hanging the tag on the door. Which, in the end, does not surprise me considering we left with tons of bed bug bites. I have about 20-30 bites on my hands, neck, shoulders, and arms. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and the pillows are paper thin. There is no soundproofing whatsoever so you can hear people talking in the hallways. For the first night, there were tons of young students (?) in the hostel who were screaming, yelling, and running around in the middle of the night. Sadly, the staff did not do anything about this despite them not following quiet hours. Breakfast was decent for it being free. Not sure why it was free for everyone during our stay but not for others who stayed after us. The city centre was about a 20-25 min walk from the hostel. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere, unless you want bed bugs!

-- DANGER -- BEDBUGS -- The staff were friendly enough, but my issue is with the room itself. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, pillows were limp and depressing, and the whole ensemble was hiding blood sucking parasites. I am itching days after with red bumps as an added shame. My only hope is that I don't bring any home with me. The sign said they would clean the room every day around 10, and yet the room remained untouched each time we left it. Perhaps they knew of the critters that lurked within. Breakfast was pretty good. I liked melting the cheese on my toast. Look elsewhere, in my opinion, as we tried to make contact about the BED BUGS, but we were ghosted. It seems like they will make no effort to try and solve the issue. So unless you also want to fall victim to the tiny vampires in the sheets, stay somewhere cleaner.

The room wasn’t really cleaned. There may have bed bugs on the beds too because I felt very itchy during the night.

good location, close to 2 metro stations and some bus lines, friendly, multilingual and efficient staff, breakfast basic but good enough, kitchen to cook and store food, you do your dishes yourself (which is perfectly fine, it IS a hostel after all), rooms too packed (4 bunk beds with 8 people and no shelves or cupboards/wardrobes, mold in the bathroom and worst of all: bedbugs!

Bed bug! I felt very itch at midnight, and couldn’t sleep. Then I found bed bug on the bed. Of course I couldn’t stay on the bed anymore. I show the the pictures to staff . He just let me check out,and told me I can stay in the lobby . It on 3:40am!!

Alors c'est une usine a touriste ce qui implique : - Les toilettes souvent complet et très sale, vraiment sale. - La file d'attente pour le petit déjeuner , brouat de bon matin, pas de calme au petit déjeuner. - Je me suis fais piquer par des punaises de lit horrible. Chambre full avec des gens qui ronfle Jai vu des auberges moins bien noté et tellement olus cool, la je comprends pas. Je me retrouve avec mon bras enflé par les punaise de lit, je vais devoir desinfecyer tout mes vêtements. Pas d'excuse rien. Svp a fuir

Punaise de lit dans plusieurs chambres, problème de clim dans plusieurs chambres. Repas pas du tout bon.

This place is clearly not a hotel but a hostel, which we were very aware of when booking. We booked a private room with private bathroom. We stayed for 5 nights. We were positively surprised that they took out the garbage once per day and even changed our bedsheets once during our stay. While the floors in the common areas were cleaned several times per day, in our room there were a lot of toothpaste stains on the bathroom door and the nightstands seemed dusty. We cannot confirm other people's reports about bedbugs, we didn't find any insects in our room. However there was black mold in the bathroom. The bathroom was small, which was okay for us, but the outline was somewhat weird and when opening the door for the shower one had to squeeze in between that door and the toilet to get into the shower. For bigger sized people this construction might not work. The bed was not very comfortable. The room didn't have a closet but came with a clothes rail, however there were only two hangers so we couldn't really use it. The WiFi was somehow breaking sometimes but resumed quickly. On a positive side besides other people's doors slamming every once in a while the hostel was generally quiet. I have mixed feelings about the personal. Some people were attentive, others were not so much. The kitchen was generally clean and it was sufficiently equipped to cook something for yourself. The included breakfast however was really underwhelming. It consisted of toast, butter, 2 sorts of jams of which usually one was not available at the time, and some chocolate spread. They had tomato and cucumber slices. They had a juice machine but the orange juice was over. The coffee was probably the worst coffee I've had in my life. The hostel was situated okay enough, it was easy to reach the city center via metro in less than 30 minutes.

Dormatery hostel bunk beds during check in time very noisy especially upper bed it is design like that. Room size is small for eight people. There is no key in the locker we have to buy from them. I booked 10 days but my flight is cancelled not able to come on that day so i request them for date changing but they won't allow because i already paid full amount for 10 nights, i stayed nine nights during check out time i asked them to refund my one night rend but they are not giving. I am happy to go from there. They are not flexible.Due to some bed bug bites not able to sleep properly. Nine nights not able to sleep properly because of noise and bedbugs.

Customer service/hospitality could be improved. Second night returned from visiting friends, turned back the sheets and saw 2 x bed bugs in my bed (certainly not mine). Reported to reception and was told 'Yeah there's not much we can do, people bring them with them. I'll move you to another room for tonight, just make sure you shake your things'. No apology for the inconvenience. So I packed up my things and went to another room. The next morning reception had no awareness of the bedbug issue. I asked if I should stay in the new room and they told me no, because there were other guests checking in, so I should 'pack all my things again, bring them downstairs' and they would find me a new room. This would have been really inconvenient and time consuming, so I asked them to give me both keys to move things directly from one room to the next. It felt disorganized/inconvenient and nothing was offered to make up for it or apologize for the unpleasant experience. Staff at reception seemed always to be on their phones and not really care about guests. Breakfast is quite limited (toast, cereal, and cake) and the toaster for the whole hostel is only big enough for 3 pieces of bread at one time. A second/bigger toaster wouldn't cost much. Breakfast ended at 10.30am EXACTLY and if you are still toasting your bread at 10.31, they will come turn off the coffee machine and unplug the toaster with your bread inside and take away the butter etc. This was a problem for me after a more or less sleepless night due to the need to move rooms. The kitchen is not very clean, the sponges for cleaning dishes are well worn and dirty and I saw many people washing dishes without soap, which are then put back out WET for other guests. Really bad smell in the guest fridges. The large outdoor hammock was out of service during my stay, so I couldn't enjoy it. (it is summer!) The co-work area is great, but it is near the main door and VERY noisy.

Estou lá há 2 dias e o que aconteceu eu dormi à noite de manhã quando acordei minha cabeça estava com muita coceira então encontrei um percevejo, tenho alergia

Might be a good option for those looking to party, but not for tired travellers that are actually looking to make the most of the day. The bed + pillow were super uncomfortable, not to mention the bed bugs.. Very thin walls so you hear every footstep and screaming drunk girl. The one plus - receptionist was lovely. Otherwise a big no from me.

Bedbugs and moldy rooms and baths

The kitchen is the best part of this hostel. We had the feeling that we got bedbugs at this place and the location is not great. And overall it was just noisy, people at the hostel and from the street!!!

There was bedbugs in my bed and they bit me during the night, when I went to tell the reception they changed my room but let other people sleep in the same room that night without telling them ( one guy was even in the same bunk bed where you could still see a dead bedbug on the side of the mattress.) They only sent them an email to tell them to change room the nigh after, without telling them about bedbugs and to be careful and clean their stuff. Don't go there if you don't want bedbugs.

Todo bien, quitando las chinches que me comieron viva y que la cama y la almohada (cojín) parecían de blandiblú. Las literas de abajo están genial, pero arriba prácticamente compartes cama con la persona de al lado.

São 01:40 da manhã, sou residente de Lisboa mas por motivos pessoais eu vim passar a noite nesse hostel com a minha filha e a minha prima. Tenho um voo as 07:20 da manhã e preciso sair daqui as 03:30. Acordei com a testa e a nuca coçando e pensei ser melga, acendi a luz e me deparei com vários. VÁRIOS percevejos, inclusive um do lado da minha filha que além de ter um tumor na pele, tem alergia a picada de insetos. Chamei o recepcionista pra me ajudar e o rapaz não podia fazer exatamente nada, me disse que só poderia me passar um email pra que eu faça uma reclamação e enquanto digitava esse reclamação, me aparece outro percevejo andando prof o a cabeça da minha filha ! Não preciso dizer mais nada

Overall the place is pretty good. There seemed to be a class of very noisy students when I was there and the bathrooms/showers seemed too small to handle all of us, but it wasn’t a major issue. I did however, get bed bugs on my last night there which isn’t great.

Bed bugs and slightly rude Carlos

Standard hostel but almost every room my group spent time in had bedbugs, many needed doctors trips and medications for the bites. Breakfast is adequate, rooms small but otherwise clean, showers average, bathrooms smelly. Good location close to metro and a supermarket as well as other amenities. Biggest turn off is definitely bed bugs!

Mon experience avec HUB Lisbon Patio était très negative. J'avais fait une reserve pour une chambre double privée avec salle de bain en suite. La chambre était située proche des douches et des toilettes communs aux autres clients de l'auberge. Beaucoup trop de bruit jusqu'à 1 heure du matin (cris, voix hautes, fous rires, agitations, coups...) même si l'auberge compte avec plein d'affiches indiquant silence à partir de 23h. Les portes des chambres n'aident pas nonplus, car elles doivent être claquées pour se fermer correctement. Les fenêtres exterieures de la chambre (là où se trouve la salle de douche privée) n'ont pas de store ou rideau, il y a un enorme bâtiment enface donc plein de vis a vis. C'est un peu inconfortable parce qu'on ne peut pas ouvrir la fenêtre de la douche ou se déplacer entre la salle de douche et la chambre sans être vu par d'autres. A 1h du matin j'ai trouvé des PUNAISES DE LIT dans mon lit et sur moi. J'étais 'chanceux' de ne pas pouvoir dormir à cause du bruit dans l'auberge et avoir pu ainsi les voir à temps. On a subi quelques piqûres, mais si on s'était endormi ça aurait été beaucoup pire. Je suis descendu à la reception pour demander une autre chambre, ils m'ont attribué une chambre de lits superposés avec salle de bain à partager parce que l'auberge était au complet. Au checkout j'ai demandé un remboursement partiel de mon argent car la chambre que j'avais payé n'était pas au même prix que celle que j'ai utilisé. Ils ont refusé. J'ai dû insister à travers d'emails au responsable pour avoir un remboursement de 37€. Le responsable a essayé de me tromper (ou de se tromper à lui même) en disant que les punaises de lit étaient en vérité juste un 'type de moustique', quand moi, je les avais vu de mes propres yeux en courant sur le lit et même sur mon corps (sur le matelas et l'oreiller, différentes generations de punaises, dès plus petites au plus grosses) Ça m'a inquieté pour l'hygiène de la chambre et l'auberge, mais il a promis de s'en occuper comme il faut de ce sujet. Plus jamais ils me retrouveront dans son auberge ni dans aucun autre des leurs.
