   WARNING TO INTERNATIONAL TRAVELERS!!! This hostel confirmed me for a one week stay paid in full. After the second night they told me that I needed to leave the hostel because they could not accommodate me due to overbooking. Booking.com customer service agent told me that they are running a scam and there's no reason why they should be doing what they are doing. I was kicked onto the street during world cup, no refund was provided to me, and they collected my ID on check-in and never gave it back to me! Don't stay here! I will be uploading a copy of the police report that I wrote for confirmation!

   Terrible service! We reserved a private room for 2 nights three months in advance for the World Cup opening day. The day we were to check in, they cancelled our reservation. We had already paid a deposit via Hostel World. They sent an email at 1pm asking us to confirm our reservation. At 1:23pm they sent another email saying our reservation was cancelled due to lack of confirmation. What a joke. We were traveling through the airport at that time and did not see the email until we landed in Mexico City. We arrived to the hotel that evening and they were unable to accommodate us at all, saying they'd already given the room away to another customer due to high demand. I'm sure they cancelled our reservation so they could sell the room for a much higher price to a last minute traveler! Such BS.

   • one guy had his airpods stolen and the other his luggage.. had to leave elsewhere after one nigh (booked 7) because of not feeling safe of leaving my things

   Security issues: one room didn’t have lockers at all and one guy had his airpods stolen and the other his luggage.. had to leave elsewhere after one nigh (booked 7) because of not feeling safe of leaving my things, and hostel didn’t refund any of the money!

   DO NOT STAY HERE — seriously, avoid this place at all costs. It can absolutely ruin your trip to Mexico City. This so-called “hostel” is run-down, dirty, and foul-smelling, with a disgusting mix of cold tobacco and ingrained filth everywhere. The overall atmosphere is creepy, cold, and uncomfortable. Kitchen: basically unusable. No utensils, no cutlery, no trash bins, almost no plates, no dish soap. And someone stole my food. Bathroom: no hot water, terrible water pressure, floor constantly flooded, nowhere to put your towel. The toilets and showers are far from the rooms. If you want to pee at night, forget about it. Room: tiny but okay, yet freezing at night. No pillowcases and a very thin blanket. No intimacy, my window was right by the terrace. Common areas: dark, poorly maintained, depressing, and honestly scary. The terrace is especially grim. The staff is extremely careless. The reception is supposed to be open 24/7 and guests rely on them to enter the building at night (we don’t get any key or access card). Yet at 2 AM I was left standing outside for 10 minutes because the receptionist was sleeping and didn’t bother to answer. The overall vibe and the people staying there make the place even more uncomfortable. Please do yourself a favor: stay somewhere else. En français : FUYEZ ABSOLUMENT CET ENDROIT. Je n’exagère pas : séjourner ici peut ruiner votre voyage à Mexico City. Cette « auberge » est miteuse, sale, mal entretenue, avec une odeur infecte de tabac froid et de saleté incrustée qui vous suit partout. L’atmosphère est glauque, oppressante, et franchement inquiétante. Cuisine : inutilisable. Pas d’ustensiles, pas de couverts, pas de poubelles, pas de liquide vaisselle, presque pas d’assiettes. En prime : on m’a volé de la nourriture. Salle de bain : pas d’eau chaude, débit ridicule, sol constamment inondé. Rien pour poser sa serviette. Salle de bain et toilettes très loin des chambres, il faut passer par des escaliers très étroits (bonjour les accidents la nuit, il n'y a pas de lumière!!) - la salle de bain que vous verrez en photo est la meilleure salle de bain de l'auberge! Chambre : basique et froide. Pas de taies d’oreiller, couette ultra fine. Il y fait Très froid la nuit, j'insiste là-dessus. Espaces communs : sombres, mal éclairés, délabrés… une ambiance franchement terrifiante. La terrasse est sinistre. L’ambiance générale et la population sur place renforcent un sentiment de malaise constant. Le personnel est nonchalent au possible, la réception est censée être ouverte 24/24 et nous ouvrir à tout moment (les guests n'ont pas de badge ou de clé pour entrer de nuit), pourtant à 2h du matin j'ai du attendre 10 minutes dehors avant que la réceptionniste ne m'ouvre (elle dormait tranquillement) Sincèrement : n’y allez surtout pas. Il y a mille fois mieux ailleurs.

   It has a good location. I was harassed by one of the employees. The reception guy took my number from the booking information and started to message me through WhatsApp. I always felt uncomfortable every time I saw him. I was able to report him with the other guy that was at the reception. But still, I always felt a bit preoccupied while being in the hostel.

   The location is perfect; it’s a shame that the facilities and staff leave much to be desired. It has no organization. I live nearby, but I needed a place close to the event I was attending. I checked in and took a nap, and the front desk staff forgot I was there and entered my room, which made me feel unsafe and unable to sleep peacefully. As for cleaning, you have to adjust to their schedule. The furniture is extremely poor. This hostel is very disappointing—they should take advantage of its good location and make the most of it. I deeply regret that foreigners encounter this kind of service in my country. It is very neglected and looks nothing like the photos. I understand what a hostel is, but I have traveled to different hostels around the world, and honestly, I feel embarrassed about this one.

    Unfortunately the hostel is dirty and run down. The staff seemed quite clueless and came into the room late at night to bring in another guest, turning on the main light and explaining everything loudly waking everyone up. I don’t understand hostelworld’s calculation system because I have put everything under 3 (more like 1 or 2 stars) and it still comes out with 3.4. Redeeming factors: I would say the WiFi is good and the location is very nice in Condesa.

    Pésimo lugar, pague dos noches y mientras yo no estaba se tomaron la libertad de agarrar mis cosas sacarlas y acomodar a alguien en mi lugar , y el encargado solo se limito a decirme que habían sobre vendido y que podía esperar en la sala .

    No stars. Frustrated. Very bad attention, in this place they steal things, they treat guests badly, please don't make a reservation in this place, dirty bathrooms, noise, the worst place to be. I'm struggling to understand why the Hostel is so well located, they have unprofessional and unhelpful attitudes. I will never go back to that place, ever.
