We stayed for two nights in the superior twin private ensuite hut and would not necessarily recommend this. The location and the atmosphere are ok. However, the hut itself is very dark and located next to a very loud place with many animals making lots of noise at night, dogs, chickens and whatsoever. Overall, compared to the 3 other hostels and hotels we stayed in on Siquijor the value for money here is quite poor, given there is also no AC and the hostel is not very social.
The Hostel is very big, so there‘s not really a social vibe. In the „Workshop“ Area there are the Volunteers most of the time. Unfortunately they are not very social with new people and stick to their Volunteerfriends. So if you wanna connect to new people, its not the right place. Besides that, there are a lot of Israelis and some of them, have very weird political views. To the pros: The local staff itself is super sweeet, the rooms are very nice and there is a pool table.
We had a really weird experience. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful but we still had to check out early and look for a different place to stay. The roosters woke us up at 3am every single night and on the last night we woke up and there was a cat sleeping on our bed.. The shower pressure was so bad and the window had no lock so anyone could just push it and get in the room. To top it off there’s no AC so good luck sleeping hot, with roosters crowing and random cats sneaking in your bed.
Prices around €35 euro/night (late fee), which was really too high for a primitive stay; no air conditioning, a lot of ambient noise (hele nacht hanen & hunde) and about half the time no stromend water (shower with a cold emmertje water & toilet cannot get through).
Nice location close to a good beach and nice restaurants. For the price I expected WiFi in the room and toilet seats. The shower pressure was bad but the activities were fun
La petite cabane est confortable, grand lit avec moustiquaire, ventilateur et prises. Plage à 15 min à pieds. Possibilité de louer un scooter sur place.
The small cabin is comfortable, large bed with mosquito net, fan and sockets. beach 15 min walk. possibility to rent a scooter on site.
The overall vibe at Wonderland was really great – a fun and relaxed atmosphere throughout the stay. However, there are a few things worth mentioning: The Basic Hut single rooms are way too small, especially for anyone over 1.7m – it's genuinely uncomfortable to sleep or even sit inside. In contrast, the Standard rooms are much better – I stayed in one for the rest of my nights and it was a big improvement in terms of space and comfort. Another important point is the lack of lockers to sec...
Pro: very nice and social location, close to the beach and the food is amazing! Cons: very loud at night due to dogs and chickens, food is expensive, if you book the small hut there is no space for your backpack which will have the be left outside
Pretty nice stay overall, just know that there’s no AC in the rooms but they stay surprisingly cool. The restaurant area has good ambience but it’s not the easiest to meet other travelers as it feels more formal. Also, the floor level seating and tables gets uncomfortable very quickly if you’re trying to work on laptop etc. Food is good but completely vegan so don’t expect meat dishes. Water pressure wasn’t working too well but the plants and overall vibe of the place was relaxing and ...
As a solo traveler, I personally wouldn’t recommend this hostel. They have events each day which are cool in theory, but 90% of the attendees were the volunteers that are very cliquey with each other and didn’t seem to want to socialize outside their group. (The events seemed like they were planned just for the benefit of the volunteers, not the guests.) The rest of the travelers were couples. They have a “family dinner” each night, but it’s very expensive for what it is (cheap food co...

Good hostel with very friendly staff in Siquijor! Nice accommodation
wooweee what a place, anyone who is considering should go for it!! the reviews are right that the volunteers don't introduce themselves/there's not daily activities/they dominate the pool table, but as long as that doesn't bother you it's an amazing place. restaurant is so vibey and has delicious food, the solo huts are super cosy and a fan is all you need. there are complaints about animal noises but they provide you with earplugs! also so many board games
In case there was any missing it, its basically a glamping camp. The site and the huts are very beautiful. Just be prepared that you can hear everything outside the hut - parties outside going until early morning, other guests walking around and talking, etc. Overall I enjoyed 2 nights of it.
It’s the only hostel I would stay at in siquijor. It’s super close to the best beach there. I would say there is a disconnect between the workers and the volunteers though. Which isn’t a big deal but it does feel very colonizing very cooperative. Overall though it’s my favorite spot and great for vegetarians.
Lovely stay that felt connected to nature. A short walk down to beautiful Palaton beach. Need scooter or tuk tuk to visit other attractions on the island as things are spread out. Food is good at the hostel. Shower pressure very weak and bucket was there for backup, but my understanding is that this is common everywhere on this island and didn’t take away from the experience. The huts were very comfortable and had no issues with bugs, mosquito net did its job!
I honestly.loved this place. It felt like a community. You can talk to just about anyone and have an amazing conversation. You can stay in your own rustic hut for the price of a hostel, it feels like you get to.merge with nature while youre there, and the atmosphere is immaculate.

Great place to stay after going from dorm to dorm. The cabins are very nice and comfi. Showers are great too!! Its quite a big place so sometimes a bit difficult to meet people especially because I’d say there’s more couples than solo travellers, but the volunteers do a good job at organizing some nice things! Also the coffee was great!
One of the best hostels ive ever stayed in! Don’t miss out. Atmosphere makes it easy to meet new people and the individual huts give you privacy!
This place is a great opportunity to get to know yourself and others. Each workshop, each space, each person speaks to you of a root, a special story, inviting you to express all that you already are. In addition, the location is very special, with sunsets every day on the beach less than 5 minutes walking. The food is delicious and the spaces are magical.
GREAT hostel and really cool concept with the private huts

J’ai ADORÉ cet hostel
I love this hostel.
One of my favorite hostels!! You have your own little cabin and it’s just so nice and comfortable. The whole atmosphere is very chill and also social if you want it to be. I would come back to Siquijor just to stay at the hostel again. Everyone who works there is very friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!
Ich habe es geliebt!
I have loved it!
Great Hostel! So well done and maintained, lovely local staff ᵕ̈ The activities were a bit weird as they were switched around many times on short notice

I loved wonderland! The huts are small and it kind of feels like camping but the social areas are really nice around the restaurant and billiard table area. The activity space at the back could use some love, it was pretty dirty with food and dirty sheets/towels lying around. Maybe the volunteers could take better care and wash the yoga mats every once in a while... The showers/toilets are decent, so is the WiFi and they have back up gens when needed.
