I stayed for one night in a female dorm and I only saw teenagers around the hostel and in my room. I also ended up with a couple of bedbug bites

I think overall the property is in a good location, offers games, food and a bar. I’m very disappointed and unhappy with my stay as I have walked away from it with six bites from bed bugs on my body. They are very irritated and sore. I can’t find a way to contact them other than at reception. Other then that the rooms where fine but I don’t think that bed bugs is acceptable. The bathrooms did what they needed to do, most of the showers didnt lock or leak overall rather unhappy with my stay

Very dirty, smelly, mould in room and BEDBUGS on matttess! We left and booked another place. Noisy in corridor, would not reccomend

It was a terrible experience. On the first night, I checked in to find the bedding was messy and clearly hadn't been changed since the last guest. Then, on the second night, I was bitten all over my legs by bedbugs. I still haven't recovered. Truly awful.

DO NOT COME TO THIS HOSTEL!!! This is not like the other party hostels. The mattresses are covered with plastic which is also stained. It mostly because it has bed bugs, which is mentioned in few comments above. The room is freezing cold and smells heavily with room spray, it gave me migraines within 15 minutes. The rooms are underground, the corridors are cold and feels like I'm in a prison. Not the mention the whole place shakes every 10 minutes because it's under a train rail. The bathrooms are also freezing cold, the showers are old, and dirty, there is no way you can shower in those without catching a cold. I left the hostel within 30 minutes and had to book another hotel.

Bed bugs! 這間青旅有床蟲，入住的第一晚在被子上跑出來，但因為之前沒遇過床蟲，所以把床蟲拍到地上了，建議遇到床蟲要趕快拿手機拍照或錄影。 第二天早上去前台說，前台經理只退了我一晚錢，然後給了那天的早餐卡一張，並且換了一間房，算是有SOP，不過事後有回去原本的房間拿東西，他們又立刻補人去有床蟲的那間住了，看來飯店沒有很在意。 價錢很便宜，而且交通非常方便，但住宿環境真的不乾淨，床單佈滿污漬，而且感覺用很重的洗劑遮掩異味，洗劑的味道會影響睡眠，浴室超級小，而且沒有太多置物空間，馬桶總是很髒，男廁小便斗會漏水淹到地上，而且感覺很多校外教學學生入住，到了凌晨2點還在嬉鬧跟大吵，樓下酒吧也很吵，會傳到房間，整體不推薦。 This hostel has bed bugs. On the first night, one crawled out on my blanket. Since I’d never encountered bed bugs before, I just slapped it onto the floor. If you really come across one, I strongly recommend taking photos or videos with your phone immediately. The next morning, I reported it to the front desk. The manager only refunded me for one night, gave me a breakfast voucher for that day, and moved me to another room. It seems like they have some SOP in place. However, when I went back to my original room later to grab my stuff, I noticed they immediately assigned someone new to stay in the bed bug room, so it seems like the hostel doesn’t really take it seriously. The price is very cheap and the location is super convenient, but the overall environment is not clean. The bed sheets were full of stains, and it felt like they used strong detergent to cover up unpleasant smells—the scent was so strong it affected my sleep. The bathroom is extremely small with barely any space to put things. The toilet is always dirty, and the urinals in the men’s bathroom leak and flood onto the floor. It also feels like a lot of school field-trip groups stay here, so people were running around and shouting even at 2 AM. The bar downstairs is also loud and the noise goes straight into the rooms. Overall, I don’t recommend this place.

Our room had bed bugs, make sure to check your sheets and comforters before sleeping here. The management was not helpful. They gave us free detergent to wash our things, but still made us pay to use the washer and dryer. The manager also said he would give us a full refund on our stay, and I never received the refund and got no response back when I messaged and called them. Location was good and the bar and restaurant were nice, but that is about it.

Bed bugs, had to ask for pillow cases both times I stayed

My stay at this hostel was, unfortunately, the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. The conditions were unacceptable on almost every level. The dormitories are extremely cramped, with no air conditioning, no curtains for privacy, and only very limited, impractical storage. The bedding was torn, full of holes, and visibly dirty. To make matters worse, the presence of bedbugs was undeniable, and the staff’s lack of surprise suggested this was not an isolated problem. The bathrooms were in a similarly poor state: unclean, outdated, and in disrepair. Many toilets either did not function at all or lacked basic door locks, leaving guests without privacy. The only positive aspect of my stay was the friendly and professional attitude of the front office staff. Unfortunately, their helpfulness could not compensate for the overall catastrophic condition of the hostel. I cannot recommend this property under any circumstances.

The only good thing in this hostel is, that it isnt infested by bedbugs. Other than that every singe aspect imaginable is worse than expected.

I have stayed at this hostel many times it’s in good location in central London. I have never had any real issues, im so disappointed and upset that my recent stay I had bed bugs bites all over my body im so upset by this and from the weekend im still itchy and had reaction from it !

Dear all, We all know any stay can be a lottery, either you are lucky or not. Well, I was lucky during my last stay in this hostel, I met such lovely staff that I definitely wanted to come back, so here I am, but this time it was anything but a dream, it was a nightmare. From nights without sleep, groups in the aisles passed midnight till 3 o'clock in the morning hanging around with music on, shouting and no respect. Another night I had to shift cause there were bedbugs on the 6th floor. And last but not least, a female staff member with lots of attitude, with ego, and no empathy, the worst experience ever. Sorry guys if I can't give you any name here, but I asked her and she replied, "I don't need to give you my name!" She kept shouting at me, I had to tell her please don't shout. I left in tears and had the worst night ever, couldn't sleep at all, after having only three hours of sleep for the last days. Couldn't even use my earbuds cause my phone got snatched few days prior. So well, in all, a nightmare. Could have dealt with all if staff would be empathetic, but on top of all she was rude and shouting at me, this was just unprofessional and no humanity. You gotta be lucky to meet that "being human" energy and spirit, it's still out there and, in some corners of this hostel you are blessed with this beautiful energy, like in the cafeteria or laundry department, so, good luck finding your luck! I still have this bitter taste in my memories, hard to forget, really disappointed having had such a good experience in the past but just one single person can change that. So gotta say this but I won't be returning to this hostel, I don't wanna be treated like this again. In tears, xx

Good luck, thats what we always need right. Mostly when you tried out a hostel for the first time. But this was not my first time here, so I thought I will have a wonderful time like last time with beautiful staff that made me wanna come back, but this time was all different, sadly. Crowded halls, and aisles, full of groups with music till late at night without control that won't let you sleep, the other night I shifted cause of bedbugs on the 6th floor, and last but not least I had to wake up early like super early and it was so noisy in my room, couldn't connect my earbuds cause they snatched my phone the other day so I requested a change of room for a few hours, I went to reception and there was a staff girl that shouted at me, in such a rude manner that just made me cry. It was already 11 in the night and had to wake up like at 3, I told her I will only shift for a few hours to any empty bed that is available and leave it in the morning. She not only denied, but she did it in such a bad Manner, shouting and being rude, that made me feel so bad, I didn't sleep that night at all, I cried promising myself I won't be treated like this again, I asked for her name and she replied, "I don't need to give you my name!" Well girl, if you can't be professional then you are in the wrong place. So, Good luck, cause we need this everywhere we go right, it's a great place if you are lucky enough to get the right room, meet the right people and good staff. Insha allah!

Bed bugs not a/c

• Blood and rubbish on my bed on arrival • No bottom sheet, pillow slip or doona cover on my bed • Neither of the phone charging ports next to my bed were working when I arrived • My key card didn’t work on multiple occasions which meant I had to keep returning to reception to get it fixed • The rooms were unbearably hot despite multiple fans running - very difficult to sleep on both nights due to this • Just noticed multiple red clusters on my back in a line - bed bugs?

I went here with some friends and it was terrible my room had an ant infestation to the point wear the bottom bunks were taken over with ants and two people had to share the top bunks, there was period blood stains in every room, poo stains in some, one even had sick up its wall and another had a bedbug infestation. Rabdom people tried getting into multiple of our rooms and that same room didn't lock properly at one point. Service was pretty good but when we went to complain they ignored us

Bed bugs. Room was very small, no kitchen facilities and no communal spaces. Only have a paid bar downstairs. No rest space outside your bed. Saw people being told not to sit on the stairs.

I had red bites up my leg after staying here, not sure if it was bed bugs but not the nicest to find after staying at a hostel

The school groups. Almost every single night there was a school group staying, so if you value your sleep between 2200-0200 then you best have some world-class ear plugs. Doors clamming, banging on doors, running a mock through the hallways, screaming in the hallways, shouting in the bathrooms, blocking the toilets, trying to force open occupied toilet cubicles, etc. I also didn't like that I, an adult, on more than two occasions walked into the toilet area to find a semi-dressed school-aged child changing. The safeguarding and wellbeing issues that can occur from situations like that puts so many people at risk. It seemed as if almost every toilet cubicle lock was different and some didn't have a vacancy lock. The changing cubicles were locked for the majority of my stay (3 of the 15 days they were available). The vending machine on the 3rd floor took my contactless payments but never provided me with the product I had selected. For an LGBTQ+ friendly establishment I didn't feel comfortable staying there being a queer person. There were no inclusive toilets, showers & changing facilities and the changing cubicles in the shared bathrooms on level 3 were never useable as 3 of my 15 day stay they were available to use. It felt more like they say they're LGBTQ+ friendly but there's nothing visible to prove it. The toilet in the gents on 1st floor had dried blood and vomit-spray over the toilet seat and rim. I did not notice this until closer inspection after I had sat down and begun to use the vessel.

De nombreux équipements étaient sales ou ne fonctionnaient pas, à l'image des douches dont les portes étaient souvent cassées, et qui étaient très étroites et parfois fermées pour un étage entier (pour travaux). De plus, nous avons eu des punaises de lit dans notre chambre, ce qui n'a pas semblé affoler plus que ça le personnel de maintenance qui nous a pris pour des illuminés (heureusement, la réception nous a changés de chambre). Malgré cela, nous sommes tout de même revenus avec des morpions, ce qui laisse penseur sur l'importance accordée à l'hygiène et à la propreté de cette auberge. Honnêtement, je suis un peu déçu de cette auberge, d'autant que j'ai connu d'autres Generator bien mieux entretenus (Berlin et Hambourg, par exemple).

First night I stayed everything was fine, although sheet was stained and was bugs in the bedding. I had to make a separate booking for my second night as they would not allow my original group booking. I had issue’s checking the second night. Finally managed it after waiting over an hour. Walked into room to find my allocated bed had already been used and sheet were dirty - disgusting. Ask reception for a refund which they refused. Extremely disappointed. Would NOT recommend. Wasted £50+

I was put in the wrong room. Twice. Staff very unhelpful and quite rude. Cleanliness a serious issue with bathrooms digusting, mould growing on the room walls, and BED BUGS. Convenient location but not worth putting yourself through all of the above. Honestly needs a good clean out - facilities and staff.
