Brisbane Quarters

Achtung, im Zimmer waren Bettwanzen! Am Bett lagen die Kabel der Leselampe frei und es gab beim Einschalten einen Kurzschluss. Im ganzen UG gab es nur 1 funktionierendes Bad mit Dusche. Das Frühstück ist ein Witz, noch nicht einmal Filterkaffee.

We had booked as a couple to be in the same room but when we checked in we found out that we were in 2 separate rooms. The toilets were not clean, some rooms had bed bugs and the gym was non-existent. What's more, they create new rules from one day to the next to prevent bookings.

Auberge qui était bien quand je suis venue il y a 6 mois mais la qualité est devenue bien triste… 430 dollars pour une semaine dans une chambre où la climatisation n’a jamais fonctionnée. Le manageur disant que quelqu’un aller venir réparer mais personne n’est jamais venue. J’ai donc demander qu’on me rembourse une partie de la chambre parce qu’elle n’était pas comme convenue lors de ma réservation (annonçait avec climatisation) le seul geste commercial auquel j’ai eu droit était de laver mes affaires gratuitement… 12 $ ! De plus, des lits inconfortables, des punaises de lit, des douches toujours salles… La cuisine est beaucoup trop petite pour le nombre de personne et il y a trop peu d’ustensiles. Auberge pas trop mal si vous avez la Clim dans votre chambre mais prix exorbitants.

Bitten by bed bugs. I found them on the wall and bed crawling. Took a photo and got 2 of those, and kept them, and showed them immidiately jumped out of bed. I at least wanted to not spread the bad news at hostel so I talked to a staff quietly. The staff helped the laundry and changed the room on that day(it was xmas!) I was panicked and was not able to sleep at all. The bites became infected sadly, and I had to go to GP. BUT the staff was not helpful at all - nor refund the room(for the nights i got bitten and still nerve wrecking and clinic costs) why do I have pay for the room to get bites and no sleep and doctor fee which is not my fault at all? They only offered the refund for the remainder nights which also means they want to expel me and stop spreading the bed bug news to others. They got what they wanted. I was so frustrated and got kicked out on the 3rd night without having alternative stay bc I didn't want to deal with that uncomfortable and hazardous ambience around me. They are more to say but in sum, I got bed bug bites but they didn't want to help me to rectify the horrible experience but expel me. Thx for the awful xams present ever :(
