Backpacker La Bo'M

The personell was nice. The room was absolutely awful - we checked out in the middle of our stay to move to a hotel. We had booked the twin room with shared bathroom.. we definitely overestimated the cleanliness of the hostel. The shower was cold on our arrival, the shower room smelled of toilet (the bad type), and the shared bathroom had the bins barely changed (this being South America where toilet paper is not flushed). The worst was the room - I had to use my sleeping bag the first night because it was so cold, the second night we found a bedbug (yes, we triple checked) crawling on my bed. There had been reviews of bedbugs before but the hostel had denied them - we can definitely confirm they are there.. frankly, there are hotels around which are around the same price, this is not worth the stress.

The personnel is very nice and the vibe is lovely. We got bed bugs :( When we told them they replied it was allergy or we got it somewhere else…but hey, we clearly are full of bed bugs bites and only in the parts where we were not wearing the pijama (I did not wear long trousers, rookie mistake, and my legs are full of bites. My partner was wearing a tshirt and got bites all over his arms) Anyway it’s really cold at night in the rooms so Check your room! and cover yourself! All in all, sadly, would not recommend.
