Central Studios Gloucester Place

When I arrived in my room I found bugs in the bed. I took pictures of the insect and did a reserve image search to discover it was indeed a bed bug. I collected my belongings and returned to the reception to inform the staff of the situation. The staff member at the time was very unhelpful and honestly didn’t seem to care at all, I was told I have two options either stay in the room or check out now (this was at 10pm). I asked if they would not offer me another room, or a refund given the circumstances and was told they were fully booked and that “she was just a receptionist and to contact customer services”. She also stated that their in house specialty cleaning service would check the room over in the morning for signs of any bugs, but that begs the question how many times has this happened previously and how unbiased would that cleaning service be. I would highly recommend anyone thinking about staying here, stay well clear and find somewhere clean and reputable.

Had the worst stay of my life here. BEDBUG found in the bed. Immediately took a picture and disposed of the bedbug, walked all the way back to the reception (you have to walk to a different building for reception and checkin). I asked them to change the room for me which they did thankfully, and was told to email the manager. Went into the new room, found a large distasteful clump of hair just sitting on the bed right by the pillow. Emailed the manager about the bedbug and hair found, received a horrible response, basically telling me there was no presence of bedbugs, even when I just caught the bedbug in the bed and even sent them photographic proof!!! And they told me they believe that their housekeeping staff would not have missed the hair on the bed. (But it evidently was, I sent a picture to them too). Took a long time to reply my emails, absolutely no apology from the email about the unhygienic hair or the bedbug. The toilet door was also faulty. Absolutely DO NOT recommend to stay. Staff that checked us in was not friendly either. Cannot think of any good things to say about this place.
