I feel some of the booking.com reviews didnt give the whole picture, Google might give more detail if you would like. I didnt use the staff much nor hostel facilities. It was a little loud for my stay however It was only one night, wouldnt pick it for a longer relaxing stay.

Ongoing bed bug problem that doesn't seem to be taken very seriously / communicated transparently, judging by the hostel's reaction to google reviews complaining about the issue. Mattresses packed in plastic, at least one room sealed with tape. I did not experience any bed bugs personally, but all of this together (+ the fact that bathrooms are mixed gender and also this wasn't apparent to me when I booked the place) made me feel a littl unsafe and very uncomfortable.

It's nice clean hostel, clean sheets. But the problem is I got bitten by bed bugs 7 of them on the first night. Saw them crawling on the wall and in my bed. My skin is so badly scars after a week. I told the reception and they ask me to move to another room, give me some skin antiseptic or something and I do my free laundry. Staff is super nice and helpful but I might not stay here anymore.

I stayed at Hostellious for three nights and found bed bugs crawling on the bed. I ended up with a severe allergic reaction and needed medication. This is a serious health and hygiene issue that the hostel must address immediately.

I found bed bugs on my bed, i couldn't sleep properly and i was scratching for whole night and when i went and informed them they said it was tropical location so it might be mosquito but not bed bugs. and i was like what am i looking that dumb?! for real? so had a bad experience and wouldn't recommend

We found Bedbugs in our room. Unfortunately the staff and management are not prepared to handle such situations

We found a bed bug in our room. So be careful. Otherwise clean, ac in room but smells a bit humid in the room. Bathrooms are very warm but shower pressure was rly good. Location is rly good. Overall good hostel

Bed had bed bugs, I woke up with bites.

The staff was really disappointing in handling my bedbug issue. Late in the evening, I checked in and they give me a bed. Soon after, I discover a bedbug in it. I report it to the staff. They tell me they have no other free bed, and offer new bedsheets instead. The bedbug was alive on the mattress protector, and I didn't want to take any risk so I asked for a refund for that night. The staff stays evasive and explains that he's not "sure" it's a bedbug. But the picture shows it clearly. Later I was told by email that these were only a mosquito and an ant. A long negotiation follows and they end up refunding me for that night. But no compensation for the trouble caused or the fact that I had to book a bed in another place. Terrible customer experience.

Found a bed bug on my bed once I arrived and alerted staff that just said it was because the window was open, even had photos but I was just dismissed. was the last stop on my Europe trip and had never been bitten and now I am dealing with a bed bug infestation at home that’s costing me ALOT. Kicking myself for not getting out of there once I arrived. Also didn’t find this a social hostel, was quite disappointed. There was a family staying in my room which wasn’t ideal

It was ok. I got bed bugs.
