My score says 2,6, yet I feel more this is a 2. Like it is not bad that there are cockroaches, bedbugs or lice, but when 2 avid travelers both agree this is the worst hostel they have ever stayed in it is bad. One of my friends didn't even want to check in and descided she prefered to stay at Cambridge and travel that entire distance every day. She thought it was way to grim. That was the word I was looking for when I said that if this hostel was a movie it would be Trainspotting.

Pleasee take housekeeping more seriously. There’s bed bug, the toilet and showers are disgusting. I dont feel safe at all for the whole 2 nights

I would not recommend staying at this hostel. The place was quite dirty and had bedbugs. Many of the people seem to live there long term and were weird/creepy. We actively avoided hanging out there during the day because we were so uncomfortable. Nothing felt clean or safe. As a woman i would never stay here again. I guess the staff was nice though.

Avoid at all costs! We booked a private room for two women. The lock was half broken, and one guy of the staff member was dismissive about it (if the latch didn’t close properly, it could easily be opened from the outside). The window was broken and faced the staircase, so we could hear every noise. The fire alarm went off several times during the night, and to top it all off, we found bed bugs in our room. Terrible hostel - the dirtiest hostel I have ever seen, and security concerns since they didn‘t even know who was sleeping in some of the rooms. Other reviews said there were bed bugs everywhere and the hostel didn’t do anything about it. We only stayed the first out of three nights and then fled somewhere else, even after having paid for three nights.

If I could rate this place less the 1 star I would. I'm not fussed about the size of the room because my intention was to just sleep there but when I unfolded the bedding it was covered in bed bugs. There was no way I was staying there so I check out after not even being there and hour. The place itself wasn't clean and I didn't feel safe in my room at all because the lock didn't close properly. Don't stay here regardless of how cheap it is. The place needs shutting down.

Stay anywhere else but here. While the workers were nice, the entire place is infested with bed bugs. Could not get a solid night sleep due to bugs, homeless people sneaking in. I’ve never been in an environment like this before. Terrible place to stay. 0/10 would recommend this place to anyone.

I got bitten by the bed bugs when I stayed here and made a complaint but nothing happened. And the staff stole my clothing.

I’ve stayed in some bad hostels over the years, but this one was bad. Atmosphere is terrible, facilities are awful, rooms are cramped and very unclean. I’ve been bitten all over by bed bugs. The only mild positive was the location, that is it.

Bed bugs. Very filthy place, bugs in all the showers and bandaids on the stairs. Badly built place too. Went to go to sleep and there was a guy in my bed, so They put me (a guy) into a female room. Lots of bed bugs and blood on the sheets

You pay for what you get, the price is amongst the lowest in London in a good location. The room with four triple deck bunk beds for twelve people was too small you can hardly move. Whilst the premises including the toilets are clean, the hostel needs a refurbishment. My grouse is that I got severely beaten by bed bugs and left the hostel with rashes on my body, not good at all.

aweful, even for this price. dirty, massive black mold, water dripping in the room from ceiling. under bad was not even swept like in months. good thing there was no bed bugs.

I would 100000% never stay here again. I didn’t even stay my full time due to Bed Bugs. This place is not worth the lowest price. On top of the bed bugs there was no ac and not even a fan. It was so hot it was unbearable and I’ve put up with a lot. This was by far the worst hostel i’ve ever stayed at and I left in the middle of the night my first night.

Dorms were so small you could hardly move if more than two people standing. The lockers were too small to fit backpacks, so they took up all the floor space. There was no individual bed light. I was on top of three decker bunk but only pwr points on next bunk down. At least I had a little privacy up top. No facilities for making a cuppa or heating food. No laundry. Water was hot in bathrooms, so good, but whole place needs a big renovation, it's very run down. Bed comfortable, no bedbugs.
