Nest Natur Hostel

I don’t recommend this hostel. The kitchen is easily accessible to the public so you can’t feel comfortable leaving food or laundry in there. The location is very far out from central Vienna. Though you can get into the centre in about 35 minutes via train, the town you are in has a strange feel and does not have many food options. The staff I spoke to seemed nice but there was hardly ever anyone around in the hostel.

Nice location and clean. Good security. Poor WiFi connection - was not available. Facilities should not be advertised as available and then not available. I needed WiFi connections to 3 devices in the room including for a podcast, two laptops and the facility was not available. I had to leave the booking - I don't have time for things to be fixed the WiFi needs to be there and working. Please do not advertise WiFi as a room criteria if it is not available.

Never go here, place is still under construction. Heaters don’t work. Room was in a dungeon. No wifi or connection to your phone. I left after the first day and was forced to move to a different hostel. No one was at the reception to help me to my room. Had to wait an hour before the owner responded to my messages on how to get inside, what room I was actually in how to get to my room. Save yourselves and never go here.

Horrible. The room was not cleaned before our arrival (dirty sheets, towels on the floor, trash from previous guests). We also did not receive any responses to our emails or calls. When we finally managed to contact them, they said they would refund our money, but they have not done. This place and the treatment we received were appalling.

There was no heat. We were in a bottom level floor with a glass wall during a snowstorm with a tiny blanket and no heat. That is absolutely insane. We had to sleep in multiple pants and our coats because we were so cold. Even with the additional layers we woke up freezing throughout the night. Since it is a self check-in with no staff we could not even communicate with anyone. They said we would have the internet password in our room upon arrival, we did not. There was no service in our room.

I made a reservation for October and then requested a change, but got no response. I called them and they said they would check for options in September, but never responded in fallow up emails. I visited the hostel in September and it took an hour to find someone working there and requested a change or cancellation. They never gave me a response after that.

Ein Tag vor Ankunft würde mir eine Email geschickt, dass das Hostel einen Wasserschaden hätte. Ich würde nach meiner Bankverbindung gefragt anstatt, dass das Hostel mir mein Geld einfach auf meine Zahlungskarte zurückzahlt. Nach langem hin und her (fast einen ganzen Monat) haben wie behauptet, das Geld mir geschickt zu haben. Seitdem sind nun auch schon wieder zwei Wochen vergangen. Ähnliches sagen auch andere Bewertungen hier. Vorsicht: Betrug!

This hostel cancelled the room I booked 10 hours before my check- in , and they asked me weirdly to send them my IBAN and BIC account nb to refund me (instead of refunding me directly to the card I used), I booked a hotel very quickly for my trip to Vienna using booking.com which is more reliable than this website, after I sent them my bank details and was waiting for the refund, I was contacted them and they were keep lying about sending the transfer and that it will take time to be continued

they cancelled 2 days prior due to water damage and send me an email to get my money back, 2 weeks later i still didn‘t receive the money. ridiculous.

Fàcil acceso desde el centro y un precio económico para la calidad recibida.

They dont provide Shampoo and body soup for you. But overall, the place is convenient to go to city part with only 15 minutes train.

Nice location but really far out of Vienna main city. Very peaceful and only 15 min train in but something to bear in mind. We only saw 1 member of staff the entire 3 days we were there and that was the people who checked us in. NO WIFI despite them providing us with a wifi password it did not work and i’ve seen previous reviews who also say that staff say it’s being fixed (2 months before we went). Good value for money but consider wifi and train journeys.

really lovely place, mini kitchen on each floor, only 3 rooms a floor with a massive bathroom. only downside is location, however the hostel is a 2 minute walk to a tram and train station

We arrived by car and were told we could park in the street across from the hostel for free. When we went to pick up our car, we got a parking ticket where it was supposed to be free. We couldn’t find any sign anywhere that this was a paid parking space. Perhaps we overlooked it somehow. But the fact that we were told we could park for free, when we obviously couldn’t, sits wrong with me. When I went to call them back, all I got was a “I don’t know”, which isn’t helpful. Great hostel...

Excelent price to quality value. Igor was very helpful with early baggage consignment. I would recomend to anybody looking for affordable accomodation in Vienna

The building was really nice and in a good location - 3 min walk from the railway station. The room was cozy. Every floor had a "mini" kitchen with a kettle, mini fridge and a microwave. The bathroom was in good condition, toilet paper kept running out though. The shower room was big, but the floor was wet all the time...it didn't seem to dry.

Good hostel, good rooms. Good location next to Wien Weidlingau railway station (S50 to/from Wien Westbhf.). Self check-in works!

Very nice environment and view outside

I spent about a week here and had a really calm and peaceful stay. The place was very clean and well-maintained. The self check-in process was very smooth and convenient, which made my arrival Quick and simple. The staff were extremely friendly and responsive, whenever I reached out with a question or issue, they replied quickly and were always ready to help. we stayed during the flood and the owners were really kind in helping us to their other hostel which was lovely! It is a lovely peaceful hostel and is very affordable. Once they reopen and repair their water damages, I highly recommend!

The host was very friendly and helpful by arrival. The private room was very good and clean and also the bathroom was very clean. The hostel was very far from the city center, but the station is very close and there are a lot of trains that you can take to the center. Only the wifi didn’t work in te rooms, it worked only in the (not so cosy) kitchen and common rooms. The kitchen walls where also dirty wich didn’t invite to cook there. But overal we had a very good stay and would recommend!

Die Unterkunft ist super sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Anzumerken ist, dass die Unterkunft ein wenig abgelegen ist aber mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln kann man alles super erreichen :) Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, quasi mitten in der Natur! Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Great value! A little far from centre but close to public transport

we thought that we were the only ones staying there. far from the centre, but it takes 15 min to go to Westbahnhof thanks to the S-Bahn station nearby. there is no ac in the rooms and wifi is not accessible in the rooms too. it can be preferrable, if you want somewhere clean and quiet.

Excelentes instalaciones! Muy tranquilo y a 15 min del centro de Viena en tren. Mismo si está aún en construcción es un hambiente muy agradable y tranquilo.

In generale il nostro soggiorno è stato molto piacevole. Gli unici punti di debolezza, a nostro parere, sono: l'assenza di WiFi in camera, i cuscini, le tende poco coprenti. Abbiamo invece apprezzato molto: la pulizia della camera e del bagno, la gentilezza del personale, l'arredamento gradevole, la vicinanza ai mezzi di trasporto.
