This newly opened hostel lacks basic facilities. No lockers are available, so it’s not ideal if you have valuables. There’s only one bathroom and a small outdoor shower with a toilet for all guests. No luggage storage is provided. After checkout at 11 am, I wasn’t allowed to use the kitchen or any facilities. The hostel feels dead, with no social activities or opportunities to meet others. Staff is inflexible and not accommodating. I wouldn’t recommend staying here
If your looking for a super chill laid back spot would (Not) recommend not very friendly towards guest coming over had water bottles thrown away multiple times even with name written on bottle
Me encanto estar en la terraza, su cocina es increíble y todo es muy tranquilo. Si buscas un lugar céntrico para poder descansar, este es el lugar.
I love being on the terrace, its kitchen is amazing and everything is very quiet. if you are looking for a central place to relax, this is the place.
We loved our stay! This was the perfect place to base ourselves as it has a very homey vibe in the heart of La Punta but away from the madness. The facilities are amazing for a very decent price, location is perfect and the staff are super helpful and friendly especially Daniel! I’ve been to Puerto many times and this is my favourite hostel I’ve stayed at. As it has just opened it may be a little bit harder for solo travellers to meet people but I’m sure this will change as it picks up.
such a great stay in La Punta! we stayed in a twin bedroom and we had the most peaceful and enjoyable experience. would highly recommend.
We had an incredible stay at Casa Gio. The staff were amazing, so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. helped us with with recommendations for tours and sunset spots etc. so huge thank you to Alejandra, Daniel and Emilio🫶🏻The most beautiful hostel we’ve stayed in, very wholesome vibes, pool, kitchen, 2 mins from the beach and La Punta strip. Found manager a bit overbearing but didn’t taint the experience. 10/10 would recommend! we didn’t want to leave lol
Este lugar es muy grande, muy comodo y siempre se siente fresco! Una locura de lugar. Si estas buscando un lugar limpio y tranquilo quedate aquí. Ale y Dani me dieron un monton de referencias, respondieron mis dudas y fueron super amables, el lugar es muy silencioso perfecto para descansar. Tuve que ir a mazunte de imprevisto y me guardaron mis maletas, buenisimo. casa tradicional + ciudad joven, lo mejor.
This place is very large, very comfortable and always feels cool! A crazy place. If you are looking for a clean and quiet place stay here. Ale and Dani gave me a lot of references, answered my questions and were super friendly, the place is very quiet perfect for relaxing. I had to go to the mazunte of unexpected and they kept my bags, buenisimo. casa tradicional + ciudad joven, the best.
Staying in this house left me with a pleasant experience, I was able to rest comfortably, exercise in the pool and at night to see the stars on the terrace, it has great views day and night. It was my first time in Puerto Escondido and they very kindly picked me up at the bus stop to help me get to the hostel, they explained how to use the transportation and have very good recommendations.
The place is cool, comfortable and large, the terrace has great views, they don't have activities that often, but they give you excellent recommendations.
Me gustó mucho hospedarme aquí, aunque solo estuve 2 noches, me relaje bastante en la terraza, es muy buen lugar para leer o simplemente observar el mar desde lo alto Está cerca de varios restaurantes Lo recomiendo
I really liked staying here, although I only stayed 2 nights, I relax quite a bit on the terrace, it's a very good place to read or simply observe the sea from above It's close to several restaurants I recommend it
