Coco's Guesthouse

first of all, they contacted me for a transfer from the pier to the hotel, we arranged the details, and finally no one was there... then we checked in with a woman that seem to have lost her smile and patience, for someone that works in tourism... then the room, twin beds, on was soft, really nice, the other one was as hard as the floor, no kidding, the hardest I've got in my life... and to complete that, the toilet were not working, we told the reception four time, nothing changed...

One of the cheaper places to stay on the island and you can tell, still overpriced. The room we stayed in was really dirty and had no WiFi, we spent 2 hours the first night talking to staff trying to resolve it. They were really good about it and persevered until it was sorted. The entire room is on a slant so when you stand up you feel like you’re going to fall over. There is also no noise proofing in the room, the ‘window’ is a mesh net and slats so you can hear everything going on outsi...

Horrible rooms, ac didn’t work which we paid extra for, no hot water, beds were hard as a rock.

Despite emailing, calling and messaging on IG to notify them that we would be arriving late, they decided to give our room away anyway. Whether or not it’s human error, the process needs improvement in line with the cancellation policy. It’s a shame because compared to the rest of the island, the accommodation is probably better than what else is out there.

The staff are friendly and the guesthouse itself is out of the way of where all of the bars are which we preferred. I was dissapointed that the room had no air con and only a fan which made sleeping extremely difficult due to the heat and noise. Given a stained sheet with hole in to sleep. Bathroom smelt, ice cold water and lots of things didn't work. Wouldn't go back, can get better value for money elsewhere.

Room had ants crawling up the wall when we arrived No hot water No AC in the basic rooms, only 1 fan between 2 beds which was super loud Nobody on reception after 8pm No proper storage in the basic rooms and most of the plug sockets dont work Not the cleanest Bathroom water smelt like sewage staff were very nice though :)

Was expensive for what the room offered

Cocos is a guesthouse not a hostel, as the name suggests. Therefore there was no hostel atmosphere but this didn’t matter to us. The location is very good, just off the main walking street so still quiet. The standard of the room was poor for the price in my opinion. Nothing was very clean, stains on the bed sheet and rips in it. In the 3 nights we spent there not once did anyone empty the toilet bin or provide us with new toilet roll, which I think should be done daily.

Ants were crawling all over the bathroom walls and on one of the bedroom walls. Beds were not very comfy but doable.

Good for couples, fine for a room. bathroom was a bit small and shelf was broken so couldn't leave anything in there. Cold shower was actually fine. very quiet area and atmosphere though expected because it's not a hostel. helpful staff, let us borrow an umbrella and had someone take our luggage to and from the pier which can be free if you time it right. Fan was fine, most was alright but a couple of stains on the bedsheets when we got there. Overall pretty fine for a couple of nights

Good private room in a good location. The bed wasn’t that comfortable but overall good value for a private room.

It’s alright — you get what you expect for the price but facilities are lacking.

I had a good time staying here, I was picked up from the ferry for free, nice staff, breakfast available, very relaxed vibe. I loved the location, it’s so close to the center but still not right inside, so it’s always quiet. Good air condition, all clean. For the price it’s really good value and the best you can do when staying on Koh Phi Phi.

Nice, quiet place to stay in Phi Phi. Rooms were clean and the staff let us check in early. I would recommended

It was clean and did the job for a private small room. However the bathroom door did not shut and the curtains did not cover the window properly so people could see in with the light. Kinda defeated the point of a private room so needed bigger curtains. However the location was good and we properly just got unlucky with the room we had! Aircon was good. Right next to the viewpoint too which was nice.

I booked a room further from the beach to sleep unfortunately it was very noisy. We could hear everything from the inside. People walking back from the party and speaking and I was party as well! I woke up every night and this is not usual. The room was enough big but expensive. The mirror in the bathroom is too high to see your face. You don’t have AC. It was ok for 3 days but I wouldn’t go back there. The staff is nice

Very very very disorganized. We were told there was toast in the mornings for breakfast- very untrue. The rooms were cleanish- you could see trash down the drain of the sink. When we got there I paid for my room and was told to come back at 2pm for check-in, when I did they were very disorganized and told me there was no rooms and maybe tomorrow, although I already paid that a.m. needs more organizing!!!!!

Friendly staff, rooms were decent however the door didn’t lock from the outside which wasn’t ideal and there were lots of ants in the room. Location was also slightly far from some places but it is a small island so wasn’t a huge issue

Coco’s guest house does not look like it’s advertised photos, it feels like it is on a wonky ship. It is an average place to stay in the heart of Phi Phi, for the cost of it there are other better options.

Spacious room. Pretty basic but did the job. Out the way of the craziness but super close walk to everything. Bathroom was basic. Free coffee in the morning

Bonne hostel, très calme, bonne emplacement.

Nice place, we got what we paid for. Got water on arrival and the staff were accommodating. Was quite far out though but not necessarily a bad thing!

Nice guesthouse! Definitely opt for the A/C room! Good value for money

Staff lovely room had a bug problem, nice and quiet and out the way but alittle walk to get there

Pretty affordable and decent accommodation. hostel is right next to the steps to the viewpoints, main town is a 2 min walk away and the boat pier is a 10 min walk. room itself is a bit basic but warm shower, wifi, air con was all working fine so can’t really complain.
