Zee Thai Hostel

The hostel didn’t look like the pictures. There was almost no air circulation, it felt hot and stuffy all the time. A lot of people were sick, and I ended up getting sick too. The cleanliness could definitely be improved—they should clean more often. I also had bed bugs in my bed, although they did pay for the laundry service. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hostel.

No se fíen por lo que ven en intent esas fotos son viejas!y aunque veas los colchones súper gorditos , está más duro q el cemento,otra cosa a destacar el la Suciedad que hay y no limpian las habitaciones, cuando se iba un huésped solo cambian la sabana bajera, me dió un asco cuando vi lo que hacían , se lo dije a la limpiadora,y se rio en mi cara , y te piden un. Depósito por las toallas y dicen que te lo devuelven y cuando me fui no me lo dieron . No lo recomiendo y está sucio ! Fot...

Shameful hostel. Never stop at first appearance. The bathroom ceiling wall literally fell during the stay, beds with questionable curtains and zero privacy if you have the bed above. Ants in the kitchen. Plus I was asked 200 baht because opening the coffee jar broke. Obviously done involuntarily and I was the one who noticed the damage... in the end cheap. but next time I will definitely look for another accommodation. I prefer to spend more but in relax hostel.

Wir wollten unser Gepäck über den Tag als wir ausgecheckt hatten dort lassen, weil wir mit dem Nachtzug um 23 Uhr nach Chiang mai wären. Dann haben sie uns rausgeschmissen und meinten wir sollen nachts am Bahnhof 4 Stunden warten statt im hostel auf den sitzen oder auf der Treppe. Frechheit und unfreundlich. Kein Verständnis für sowas. Bei solchen unfreundlichen Menschen brauch man nicht wohnen

Using an excuse that we didn’t understand, they just asked for me and my friend to give 3000 bht or go away, so we went away in the middle of the night without knowing where to sleep… we tried to talk and ask for any reason but then they threatened that they will kick our ass out. Really a bad experience

I stayed for 3 nights during Songkran My last night my phone was water damaged and would not charge, I texted my friend staying at another hostel to come before we lost contact. She came we were in the common area for 10 mins (talking had not drunk anything). The receptionist asked her to leave if she didn’t stay there and said he had been watching us on cctv. Said no problem went to leave and he said I must pay 1000 baht fine or checkout immediately at 10:30pm for having a visitor. Horrible

A drastic contrast to the usual hospitality of asian hostels. Checked out on our final day after staying 5 nights on 2 different occasions. We had a flight booked at the end of the day so we were sitting in the common area on the balcony, receptionist kicked us out telling us we’ve over stayed our welcome and had already checked out. He then, after we had left, tried to kick us off a bench on the street near the hostel, threatening to call the police. Slammed the door and said never come back.

A cheap hostel with very rude staff, poor backpackers and c*** conditions in an old slumy building. The staff has no idea how to run or a hostel business works. Would not recommend it.

Reception guy, 6 ft tall, raises concerns with potential threats. Hostel issues include AC being turned off arbitrarily, consistently dirty bathrooms, and inappropriate guest behavior. On the last day, a questionable 200 baht deduction was threatened for bringing food into the room. Lack of respect in this environment is concerning. I stay there for 7 days but they had no respect .After they end all this with me . Bad experience first time in my 5 mnths journey of whole southeast

Un super hostel si vous voulez quelque chose de tranquille malgré la proximité avec la Khaosan Road. Ce n'est pas très animé mais c'est ce que je recherchais ! Proche de tout mais comptez 30 minutes de marche pour rejoindre la station MRT Blue line. J'y retournerai avec plaisir !

I stayed in a private which was spacious. A bit of a thin wall. The shared bathrooms were clean. I found the place pretty central as well. Overall a good option for staying in Bangkok!

decent property close to Khao san

It’s definitely a nice location (15 min walk to Khao San) and there are lots of good shops and restaurants by the hostel. It’s not extremely social but there are always people on the balcony smoking/ eating.

Had almost a nice stay here and was more than willing to overlook the subpar conditions, bed was hard and bathrooms could be cleaner, shower was cold every day for me so don’t use the leftmost one if you go. Main issue was the receptionist. He was polite during the time of our stay however did a 180 as we were leaving, we tried to keep our bags in lockers after checkout which he said was okay but then they didn’t fit, we asked for somewhere else to put them he got angry and kicked us out rud...

Unterkunft ist für einen Lowbudgeturlaub gut geeignet, allerdings gibt es keine verschlossene Haustür, wodurch jeder in das Hostel gelangen kann. Es gibt eine gut Ausgestattete Küche (Spüle, Kühlschrank, Kaffee usw)

Very close to cafes/restaurant. 15 mins walk from the famous Khao San road. Very clean and free water and coffee. Kitchen is small but good.

Really deceiving photos, no window in the room and it was very run down. felt quite unsafe as the door had no lock. Rooftop was nice but other than that i unfortunately would not stay again.

Situé à côté de la rue principale. Hôtes très accueillants et serviables. Petit bémol sur le bruit de la clim (surtout celle des voisins), et de la rue pendant la nuit

This hostel offers excellent value for money. We have access to everything we need: water, lockers, a washing machine… there are even biscuits in the morning and sometimes fruit. Tea and coffee are available as well. The beds are clean and there is air conditioning. There are common areas, which makes it easy to connect with other travelers. As for the staff, they are extremely welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help. Special thanks to Kak for his kindness and availability!

Overall it’s good but at last the owner aunty went angry being rude i told her that I’m leaving in 2 hours and i checked out but i told her im leaving my bag here rather than directly asking her i asked my friend first just to be clear that is it allowed then the owner aunty went crazy and at last its more than 2 hours after checking out but im at rooftop area not in the hostel rather than requesting polietly she being rude very much overall the experience is nice but w me aunty being so rud...

Super sweet and helpful staff, very comfy bed, the area around is really nice and full of vegan restaurants and some second hand shops. There’s a self laundry shop on the opposite side (would recommend to wash hot, because wasn’t super clean with just warm, but totally fine). Free drinking water, snacks, tea/coffee. There’s a fridge, kitchen and little terrace and 7 eleven around the corner. Not a social hostel at all, but all in all very solid!

É stata un’esperienza fantastica. Ho soggiornato più di una settimana presso l’ostello. Lo staff è stato gentilissimo in tutto. Quando tornerò la prossima a Bangkok sono sicuro tornerò qui.

I don’t understand how this hostel is ranked that well. The vibes are bad. It feels so sketchy and dead. The area is creepy and the hostel has dark vibes. The bathrooms are also not the cleanest.

Really nice hostel in a great location. Right next to a 7-Eleven, surrounded by nice places to eat, and walking distance to many attractions in the city. Our private room was basic, but very large and clean. Shared bathrooms are well maintained and there was never a queue. The hostel provides tea, coffee, and drinking water & the shared social spaces are nice (although people seemed to mostly keep to themselves, not a party hostel). Staff are lovely and super helpful!

The inly good thing it was the lady at the reception as she was friendly, smiley and helpful, beside that my room wasn't that clean, there were stains in the toilet and sheets i wasn't sure they were changed. In general not a nice smell in the room, i had to leave the windows open the whole time. Location was ok but the overall experience was poor, i am not satisfied by this structure, i suggest you to go for something else. I wouldn't go back

The early check in, water filter, rooftop,&lockers are nice. The staff is really friendly too. Theres not much AC and the rooms are very basic. Its not social at all, while i was staying there, there was only about 10 other people.

The lady was super nice, very helpful for whatever request we had, room was clean and AC worked.
