+ The manager’s professionalism. That’s it.

- Disappointing Experience – Not What We Expected from a 4-Star Hotel I stayed at YANH Ratchawat Hotel with my mom and brother — this was our first hotel in Bangkok and was meant to be the start of a beautiful family trip. Unfortunately, it left us shaken and disappointed. As soon as we arrived, we were met with hostility instead of hospitality. The two receptionists on duty didn’t greet us or smile — instead, they murmured something after seeing us, passed our booking to each other, and looked at us with visible irritation. One of them abruptly told us we had to pay extra because we were three people. I politely explained that our booking (already at a premium price) was made for 3 adults. But she continued to speak rudely and insist we pay more. Only when I asked to speak to the manager did they bother checking our booking properly- and then admitted it was indeed for 3 people and no extra payment was needed. There was no apology until I pointed out how disrespectful their behavior was, especially in front of my mother. One receptionist apologized and tried to be polite after, but the other remained cold and unwelcoming. Honestly, I’m surprised how they have so many positive reviews- our experience was the exact opposite of what we expected based on what we read online. Thankfully, the manager the next morning was understanding, kind, and apologetic. She even personally came up to my mom to offer a sincere apology and some complimentary beverages. I truly appreciated that- but this kind of experience shouldn’t have happened at a hotel that claims to be 4-star. If you’re choosing this hotel, just be aware- your experience may depend heavily on who’s at the front desk.

- En la noche le pedimos a la recepcionista que nos pidiera un taxi ya que salíamos a las 3:00 am al aeropuerto y no lo hizo. La recepcionista de la noche nos dijo que nosotros lo hiciéramos, PÉSIMO servicio porque estuve a nada de perder el vuelo por no comprometerse en lo que quedaron una noche antes. Las recepcionistas tienen mucha área de oportunidad, siempre de mala cara y con negativa en sus respuestas

- Really disappointment with the service. We booked the biggest room in this hotel the suite and a regular room so in total 2 rooms for my parents and for me being 5 months pregnant and my partner traveling with a baby. I have informed the hotel that we are traveling with a baby on numerous occasion prior to arrival. They don’t provide cot so I asked where can the baby sleep, and they reply to suggest on the sofabed which was fine. Upon arrival they refused to provide any sheets for the sofa bed or blanket said it’s additional charge of THB400. The fact that we paid full price including the headcount for a baby and they want to charge us more. Even the front service desk lady said if it was her she would just given us the sheets but her manager will not approve it. That really made us feel very unwelcome. We are not asking for an extra bed, we are only asking for the sheets. This is to protect their sofa from getting dirty when the baby sleep on. However their priority was to make more money from us then to make us feel welcome as a guess. I was very upset about this, as there was back and forth calls to the front desk and they took so long every time they got back to us. I do regret booking two premium rooms it wasn’t even cheap. I feel we have paid more than the service we have received. We come to Bangkok every year and this is the nearest hotel to our Thai family home, but they have made us feel like staying here in the future is no longer an option. I even wrote to them to express disappointment and no reply received. They don’t really care about their guests. In the end we just used their duvet cover for the main bed as sheets. The cleaners are not consistent on when they come to clean the room even though you have the sign saying clean my room, they missed it on the first day. We had to call the front desk everyday after waiting for hours for the cleaners to make sure they come to clean the room.

+ Optik sehr modern

- Optik modern aber nur versucht was zu verschleiern, Wasserdruck kaum vorhanden man konnte sehr schwer duschen. Klimaanlage in allen drei räumlichkeiten kaum funktioniert. Zum schluss wurde von einem zimmer Kosten abgerechnet wegen einem fleck auf der decke. Zum schluss wird ja alles eh gereinigt wozu eine Rechnung stellen fragt man sich da. Frühstück würd ich nicht buchen jeden tag das selbe und für den europäischen gaumen ist das eher nichts.

+ Zimmer sehr schön und gepflegt eingerichtet aber kein Kleiderschrank vorhanden

- Frühstück war sehr schlecht, kein Büffet, nur 4 fast gleiche zur Auswahl, Kaffee aus Pappbechern, Personal beim Frühstück unfreundlich. Lage des Hotels sehr schlecht, Freizeitgestaltung nur mit Taxi möglich, die Fahrer sprechen kaum Englisch.

+ Calme, personnel aux petits soins, proche du pier (embarcadère) pour descendre dans le centre de Bangkok de manière agréable avec le bateau public à 21baths ! Piscine propre, les chambres spacieuses très propres et la Clim fonctionne très bien.

- La chambre pour 3 n’est pas très adaptée car le 3eme lit est en fait un sofa plutôt petit. Ca passe pour une ou deux nuits.
