Talakkia Boutique Hotel

- Avoid at all costs! Our stay was a nightmare. The room was filthy, with noticeable dirt marks on the walls and barely enough space to move. The bathroom was a disaster - no door, extreme dirtiness, and the shower was awkwardly positioned over the toilet. The cleaners seemed absent. The pool was consistently dirty and littered with debris. Overpriced and underdelivering, this place offers extremely poor value. We were extremely disappointed and wouldn't recommend it.

+ The whole place look ok. Nice neighborhood and nice staff. Overall it's ok if your on a budget. I was there for several hours until my flight and it was ok-ish.

- The shower was a disaster. Everything with rust and the water pressure was not even. I couldn't shower without flip flops. Also the ceiling is so thin you can here the bed and furtniture moving from the room above...

- La “piscina” ( por llamarlo de alguna manera) es un charco ridículo con vistas a un parking. El desayuno es una porquería, no se molestan ni en servirlo caliente. La habitación es un cristo, apenas tiene enchufes y los que tiene no funcionan bien. La habitación es enana y las vistas son un parking de varias plantas. No volveré

- L’hôtel est assez loin de Chinatown si tu ne prend pas de scooter ou transport. La chambre que nous avons eu que correspond pas du tout au photo lors de la réservation. Le sol c’est le ciment, c’était plus que petit, pas d’intimité lors de la douche. Une personne dans le personnel désagréable pour une simple demande d’échange de money.

+ I didn’t like anything about this place, their staff was very rude and they made checkin process very cumbersome. They infact had taken a security deposit of 200 baht per room for the key card. This was really weird and we were quite paranoid about not loosing that piece of plastic card

- Everything about this property was bad, the rooms are crammed, infact the family room which is supposed bigger and you pay more for it, turned out to be the smallest. Rude and unhelpful staff too. The location is dead, nothing to find around this place.

- Room was very small comparing to the price we paid. Weird smell while passing by the the lobby. No sound proof walls. You can hear everything what's happening in the hallway. Very small pool.

+ Everything was pretty great, The location is outstanding since it's super close to Talad Noi and Song Wat but tucket away from the noise and tourist groups. Is you're planning to walk the "coolest neighborhoods in the world", this is definitely the place to be. The staff is super nice and helpful, it was extremely clean, and breakfast was amazing (also arrived like 2 minutes after we were ready for it which was so surprising since it's make to order).

- Some of the things are slightly dated but it's absolutely nothing compared to the value you're getting!

- The room has an unpleasant odor which doesn’t really go away. The wifi is so bad it’s practically non-existent.

+ Location is perfect - near to Talad Noi, Chinatown, and Hua Lumphong train station and MRT. Loads of restaurants, coffee shops and bars nearby for all food. The hotel is quiet and relaxing. The coffee provided with breakfast was from a proper coffee machine, which is unusual in hotels in this area, and was superb. The shower room and toilet are separate which is also great. The roof top area is a nice touch too.

+ La ubicación es muy buena, talat noi es un lindo barrio cerca del río, Chinatown y hay una estación de subterráneo a unas cuadras. El personal es súper amable. Las habitaciones están bien, es un 3 estrellas muy correcto.

+ Location was great, in the middle of the Talat Noi! It was within walking distance of Chinatown as well. The place has everything you would need, a little pool to put your feet in after a busy day, a roof terrace, amenities in the room (hair dryer, electric kettle, AC etc.)! And a helpfull staff members!
