CM Memorial Hostel

The staff was really nice and there was a fridge and warm water but I felt dirty being there. The corners were moldy, ants everywhere and really old spiderweb in the curtains. I’ve been to better hostels for a cheaper price. And also ants in the bed and bathroom, no soap and only a locker big enough for a pair of shoes. I feel bad leaving a bad review cause the staff was really nice, but that’s my honest opinion

Wir hatten das Zimmer ganz unten was leider absolut nicht aussieht wie auf den Bildern. Unser Fenster war zur Küche weshalb man es nicht immer auf lassen konnte und unser Zimmer deshalb sehr dunkel war.Insgesamt war es auch nicht so super sauber und wir haben uns auch nicht wirklich wohl gefühlt.

The lady in the house is kind. You can also rent a car or a motorbike from her. It is close to the city center, they have comfortable beds and although it’s not the most social hostel, it’s perfect if you want peace and quiet.

El alojamiento está bastante viejo, cogí una habitación individual que era grande pero necesita una reforma. Había hormigas pequeñas en algunos sitios. Y durante la noche que estuve allí no me encontré a nadie

Our stay at CM Memorial Hostel was great. They let us leave our bags there before check in and after check out. The lady that works there was very nice and always available. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. The location was good, everything in walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.

We only stayed one night at the CM memorial hostel, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, we liked the location as it’s close to inside the main square. The lady working was friendly and always around, there was a fridge to use if you wanted to store food.

Guesthouse bien placée. Près du terminal de bus environ 300 m. Près du centre-ville aussi mais au calme. La jeune femme à l’accueil est charmante. Chambre simple mais propre et lit King size confortable. Frigo appréciable et mini pièce avec évier. On peut louer des scooters quasi neufs sur place. Bien pratique. Chiang Rai ne m’a cependant pas fu tout enchantée. Par contre temples bleu et surtout le blanc exceptionnel. Accessibles en scooter.

CM Memorial is based on a house with a little garden; just a few blocks outside the southern gate of Chiang Mai. I was in an ample 4 beds room with shared bath. You may find that the place doesn't have the usual perks (personal lights, curtains, free towel or big lockers) or the kitchen has limitations (just a fridge and an electric jar) However, Thazin makes you feel just at home and the place has a peaceful and secure rural vibe. I would come back.

Lovely relaxed place. Lovely owner. Clean. Get what you pay for. Good location.

best hostel!! i never write reviews but this one really deserved one :) the owner was so so nice & always made sure we were safe and comfortable. the beds and facilities were always clean. it is extremely peaceful and i loved staying here. the rooms were also very spacious & had a lot of storage space. i’m excited to come back the next time i visit chiang mai!!

Amazing hostel and host 10/10 :)

The hostel is very quite but also not far away from the old town and it was always clean. If I come to chiang Mai again definitely will stay there again.

I only booked one night here as I needed some time to rest after a trip to hospital. It was perfect for that purpose - nice and quiet, comfy beds, lovely attentive owner. It wasnt the most social vibe whilst I was there though so maybe something to consider if you are looking to meet people.

Een hele vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw! Schone kamer met airco. En we mochten onze tassen tegen een kleine vergoeding een aantal dagen hier laten. We huurde een scooter waar een passende prijs voor werd gemaakt voor de tijd dat we hier waren. En ze was zo lief om onze was op te halen om de hoek bij ze selfservice zodat we ze avond markt niet hoefde te missen. Aanrader!

Lovely little house stay right by old town, perfect location and cute building. Not really a hostel if that's what you're looking for but if you want something affordable, central and authentic, this place is perfect!

Loved staying here. Perfect for a more relaxed stay in Chiang Mai. The house is super cute and the owner is very accommodating. She rents scooters and cars from the property at a reasonable rate.

Man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und alles ist sehr schnell erreichbar. Wenn es um das Preis-leistungsverhältnis geht ist dieses Hostel in chiang Mai unschlagbar!

Very nice and cozy hostel. The host is very kind, helpful and cleans every day. When I return to Chiangmai this will be my first choice.

The owner/host was super friendly, helpful, and kind. Felt very welcome here. Not a “social” hostel by any stretch, but a perfect place to chill, get some rest, and go about your business.
