Stayed one night in Chiang Mai (€36/night). Room clean, bed OK, good location. But extremely small—had to sidestep past bed to bathroom; barely room for two even there. Shocked by reception fees: 700 THB early check-in (just 3h), 300 THB key card deposit, 1,000 THB “loud noise” fine, 5,000 THB durian penalty. Front desk staff felt money-focused, no warm welcome, transactional vibe. Fine for strict budgets if you check fine print, but we’d skip next time.
Amazing stay, lovely staff and very clean. Definitely a good price for the quality of the stay
Honestly was the best place ive stayed at so far. It had every amenity you could need and the staff was very kind and helpfull.
