Tam Coc Central Bungalow

When we arrived, the staff at the reception told us they were closing the next day because of a typhoon so we had to leave. Very understandable, however, they did not communicate that with us earlier even though I had email contact with them that day, so that was kinda bad. Staff weren’t very helpful in general, they kinda seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Room was really nice and clean tho! but don’t eat the burger at the restaurant because it gave my boyfriend food poisoning.

This place was by far my favourite in Vietnam.

DO NOT RENT THE BIKES They are renting out the bike we got into a serious accident with. The owner Ruby has only got money on her mind and has no regard for anyone's safety. There were a few things about the dorms that meant I wouldn’t want to stay in them again (smelled bad, somebody had a rat run over them in their sleep) but the main thing which really put a downer on our stay was the way they were treating the dogs and cats. Avoid this hostel. we stayed here in a private room for 2 nights (room 203, as I have noticed the owner often likes to claim people haven’t stayed here). when checking in we were shocked at the 8% card charge, almost triple what we have been paying across Vietnam. upon first impressions things looked okay, the beds were big and comfy and the pool area was nice. however on day 1, we sat in the restaurant and were blatantly ignored by staff for 40 mins while they were serving tables around us. ...

Don’t stay here if you are getting the night bus. They will make you stay on a sun lounger in the cold outside. Very uncomfortable. Breakfast was bad, mainly loads of muffins/ cakes out of a packet and some omelette and a meat looking dish. I stayed in a private room and the shower had a horrible smell like bad sewage. Had to keep the door closed after using the shower, towels also had a damp smell. Good location though, near town but not in the hustle and bustle.

People consistently smoke right outside the room and the smoke gets in the room. Even though I keep asking people to stop smoking, people keep smoking after smoking awhile

De prive kamer had een lekker bed, maar echter zit er geen sfeer in dit hostel, daarvoor moet je echt naar banana tree. Wat betreft de kamer, het bed was goed maar het sanitair is outdated. Tevens is er geen 24u receptie (en dus ook niemand aanwezig) en werkte het slot van mijn kamer half. Ook bobbelde de wc regelmatig en stond het water tot aan de rand.

die Anlage ist ungepflegt/schmutzig. Mein Badezimmer sah bei Ankunft frisch benutzt aus, Einwegrasierer noch da, man nahm es zur Kenntnis, hat lediglich den Boden abgeduscht. Rasierer hab ich selber weggeräumt dann. Pool war verschmutzt, wurde 1x geputzt während meines Aufenthalts, das Wasser war immer trüb sonst. Die Freundlichkeit war sehr durchzogen. Die Familie? hängt rum, ist laut und nicht rücksichtsvoll, als wäre es ihr grosses Wohnzimmer. Alles in allem eine schlechte Erfahrung

We stayed at this property for a couple of nights. The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature and they offer a great breakfast! We didn’t like that our room wasn’t very clean. We stayed in a private room and when we checked in the bedsheets were pretty dirty. We reported that and some nice ladies changed them for us. Unfortunately the “fresh” ones also had stains on them. The bathroom was also dirty, we found hair that weren’t ours and there was also mold on the pillows.

This hostel is beautiful and felt really luxurious. Breakfast is included, reception staff are helpful with renting bikes and booking activities, and it is walking distance to many restaurants, cafes and ATM. I will stay here again if I return to Ninh Binh!

Best hostel vraiment cool et très harmonieux

Nice hostel with nice view. You can rent bikes and they help you plan day trips and your next destination. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious.

The property is gorgeous and close to everything in tam coc but somehow tucked away in nature at the same time. Very social vibes but in no way a party hostel. Bathrooms are in the room but were kept clean.

Such a nice hostel it felt like a resort. Breakfast is great and the staff are all so friendly.

Amazing hostel, so pretty! We had a lovely 2 night stay here. Check in was clear, with a map provided of all local attractions. Breakfast was good, we ate at the restaurant too which had nice food and drinks. All facilities were clean and worked well. After we couldn’t get a bug out our room they switched us to a new huge room! The staff were amazing and did all they could, a special thanks to the man on reception who helped us with this!!

Really nice hostel and location, clean and comfortable beds. Reception staff can be a bit rude when talking with them, it’s like you’re annoying them when you ask questions.

This has been my favourite hostel thus far. Booked one night and I extended for 5 days. Ninh binh was incredible. Cheap bicycles and bikes to rent. The staff are very accommodating. Best mattress in any hostel in Vietnam. Nice rooms nice bathrooms. It’s a great location 2 minute walk to the Main Street but it’s secluded on the outskirts so it’s not loud at all and surrounded by nature. Can’t recommend enough.

Super relaxing hostel with comfy beds, clean bathrooms, nice pool, nice breakfast and beautiful outside area. Still social and staff helped us book tours. Really close to main town so super easy to get food and sight see. Could rent bikes to get around easily. Great views.

The perfect hostel for staying in Tam Coc.

Great hostel, one of our favourites!! Breakfast is the best we’ve had from any hostel. Really social, met loads of people! Rooms were nice, just annoying that top bunks didn’t have railings so kept dropping things lol. Location is perfect, views are amazing and can book lots through hostel. Really recommend :)

So peaceful one of my favorite places in the world

Helpful staff and it’s a 5 minute walk from the lively part so you get nighttime quiet and access to social amenities at the same time.

The property is at a good location, close to the main tam coc street, it’s not a party hostel, it’s less noisy, clean and also has a pool, the breakfast is amazing, hospitality is great.
