Domingo Hostel

Rude reception and staff, , tiniest mark left on your bed sheet and you will be charged almost half of unreasonably high deposit. No social atmosphere at all. Would not recommend.

We stayed in this hostel during New Year so the price was extremely high. When we arrived at the hostel, we saw that there is only one sink for 22 people. Also there is only one bathroom (shower and toilet) for each gender. We also saw a lot of mold (e.g. curtains and ceiling in the bathroom). We didn’t feel very safe at night because then main door was always open. The windows and the door to the balcony didn’t shut properly thus it was very loud in the rooms. Staff was very nice though.

Unfortunately I didn’t love this hostel. Its location just isn’t great especially if you can’t drive a bike- you have to get expensive taxis to and from town to get there and back so it gets expensive. Plus we thought the hostel would take us to the full moon for free and then we had to pay. It’s a very small hostel (only 2 dorm rooms) so it isn’t super busy and sociable. The beds I found super uncomfortable and the top bunk had a very unstable curtain. The staff were amazing though!

good place to stay for the full moon party but nothing special

We loved our stay at Domingo - the staff are so lovely and accommodating and we loved sitting outside chatting. Basic hostel, especially for the extortionate price for our New Years’ Eve stay. However, was clean and pretty comfortable.

this hostel is small but nice. staff are friendly and moss brings you out on free tours during the day. this made the hostel experience for me. full moon party was okay just a lot of people.

I stayed here for Full Moon Party and they had a great getting ready vibe with glow-in-the-dark body paint. A guy in a pickup truck brought us to some cool beaches and viewpoints the day before too which was fun. Facilities are very minimal, only small lockers, no locks on doors. Surcharge price was ridiculous. Location is far from everything.

Staff here are so kind, we went out on day trips to the beach, market, sunset spot, waterfall. Stayed over full moon time, so obviously inflated prices but not as expensive as some on the island. Rooms were okay. i would recommend this place to stay for full moon

Loved, all the staff were so nice and day trips Moss did were fab, made up for the distance from the town

the lady at the front desk was lovely, super helpful & proactive!! she would help us book everything we needed & was just a lovely face to see at the front desk. great location for full moon & jungle experience parties, basically a ten minute tuk tuk ride for 150 baht for both. we had a pres for the full moon at the bar in the hostel & it was so much fun !! rooms were always clean & people were nice

The staff were so nice and there are really thoughtful amenities like mirrors and lights to do makeup and hair tools for guests to use. They had face paint available for free before the full moon that they painted on you (really well btw) or that you could use yourself. The rooms and showers are nice. The location in Ban Tai is practical as there are always taxis passing by to go to Thong Sala or to Haad Rin, and it’s in the center if you want to explore the north beaches and party in the sout...

the entire stay was made by Moss and the staff and the atmosphere. Truely a unique experience

After the full moon party the hostel is kinda dead, but stillvery fun. The ladies at the front are very nice and Mos, the activity guy, is great. He drives you around in his truck and its the best thing ever

Moss is the best. Made our time on the island unforgettable. Sammy at the fronts desk is also amazing and so helpful.

I had a great time at Domingo. Everyone there tried to make the experience as good as it could be. It’s right across the street from a 7-11, and not far from the beach. If you wanted to be social it was incredibly easy to meet people with the daily activities planned, which most people took part in. The hostel didn’t charge anything for this extra service, so big thumbs up from me.

Wow! What an incredible hostel! Sammy the receptionist is so lovely, helpful and kind and even made sure I didn’t miss my ferry! Mos (who runs the day trips) is a living legend! Any room he enters, the energy multiplies by 10. I booked this hostel as I don’t ride a motorbike and wanted to see the island, and I saw incredible places and met amazing people on this trip. I wish I’d booked for longer! Immaculate vibes, incredible staff and amazing people. Couldn’t recommend this hostel enoug...

Moss is the best !

Great place to stay with great staff who provide free excursions!

Domingo hostel is amazing, so social and they treat all their guests like family. Shout out to Mos who took us on day trips around the island. We went to the full moon party and they hosted pres with the whole hostel also sorted transport for us. Recommend for anyone wishing to travel to Koh Phangan!

The hostel was social they only have 3 rooms so you get to know everyone and everyday they take you to waterfalls and beaches for free and Moss is the best

Met some great friends here, it’s like a family and Mos takes good care of all of the guest and goes above and beyond by organising daily activities!!

Best hostel I’ve stayed at! Family vibes, homey, laundry service, comfy beds, lovely staff and trips everyday! You won’t regret it!

Friendly staff, good atmosphere. A bit dark and smelly. But alltogether a great experience and reccomandable. Especially the guy who does trips for the hostel is a really cool guy, and does nice trips.

Staff were very helpful. Towels are provided. No lockers inside the room, but there are lockers outside for important items. There’s no kitchen, but the lobby has a fridge and microwave. Nice chill area inside and outdoor seating. A 7-Eleven is about 50m away. Can recommend this hostel!

very niceand helpful staff, free drinking water, tea, coffee all day, clean facilities, a large common area, a free tour around the island each day (which is amazing by the way). there are 3 convenience stores in the immediate area, a great and cheap eating place next door (toms kitchen) and for those who need it a weed shop nearby. beach is also just a 10 minutes walk. we totally loved this place and will be coming back if we go to the island again.
