- Ultra overpriced, noisy, way too far to the toilet from the sleeping quarters having to go through many different doors. The lockers being in the sleeping quarters also made it all much more noisy. I didn’t feel welcome as a guest, as the lobby was basically just a bar. It’s probably the worst hostel I’ve been staying at. So much so that I decided to leave after the first night and find something else.
- We had no hot water in our second night in this hostel and not only did the staff not mention this when we arrived and failed to provide any solution. When we checked out, there was an arrangement for a discount on the price of that night and a follow up WhatsApp conversation that was fully false, since no refund was ever provided. Bad service, would never be a guest again.

- Not good experience! I stayed 2 night in this hostel. After checking out I realised that I forgot my towel on the hanger in the room so I contacted the hostel via WhatsApp the very next morning. I explained in Details what colour my towel has and in which room and even on which hanger Ieft it. They wrote that they will inform the house keeping but never replied to me eventhought I texted them again. I stayed 2 more nights in Edinburgh visiting a friend and could pick up my towel at any time but the staff obviously didn't care and never replied me again. To be honest I dont think that one of other guests would take a used towel in a dorm, so my conclusion is that the staff of the hostel was just to lazy to go in the dorm and check it. They care for the money not their guests.

- Kleine bedompte kamers, slechte matrassen, rumoerig maar het allerergste onveilig! ‘s nachts kunnen blijkbaar dronken ‘niet gasten’ binnenkomen en op deuren van kamers bonken. Er was geen guard/concierge aanwezig. Zeer kwalijk.
+ it was my first experience staying in such facility, would never repeat, with the same value more comfortable hotel could be booked, I had some food and it has to be kept in fridge, the hotel refused putting the bag inside their fridge while there was no fridge in the room
- in total the experience was not to my expectation. the staff were good, always smiling and cooperative, price was high for such kind of cell which, location was amazing

- On a payé le prix normal pour un service très en dessous de nos attendus - une auberge sans espace commune / sans cuisine - c'est légal? Attitude désagréable du manager le soir, attitude du manager du jour désinvolte face à nos remarques Le manager du soir a dit qu'il reviendrait nous voir pour faire un geste commercial -il n'est jamais revenu vers nous Tarifs du menu petit déjeuner incompréhensible Ambiance dans le "café" morose Les jeunes employées très gentils un peu stressé par le management Très bizarre dans le secteur de l'hospitalité de trouver autant de tension et de stress Petit grief final - aucune fenêtre dans la chambre - donc pas de lumière naturelle. Une porte fenêtre qui s'ouvrait en biais - qui donnait sur un espèce de court noir et sinistre. On a fermé à l'apparence de notre première moustique... Nous sommes un groupe de 1à amis qui a déjà voyagé en auberge ensemble dons on a l'habitude d'accepter quelques petits désagréments. Le Code Pod nous a fortement déçu. Surtout le manager, Leighton.

Posizione stupenda! Tutto ben organizzato, all'accoglienza un po' di lentezza ma nulla di grave. L'unico problema è che nel prenotare la camerata non era chiaro che il letto fosse un "loculo". Devo ammettere che se lo avessi saputo prima, alla cifra che ho pagato, avrei cercato un'altra soluzione. Per il resto tutto bene
Very happy with my stay here! The staff were kind, the bathrooms were very well maintained, and the female only dorm was great. Would definitely stay here again!
Absolutely amazing, from the security to the room. And very good bathroom and shower room. The staff was so helpful and friendly. 10/10 will be back
Incredible location and great breakfast/ dinner options
loved the hostel, there were activities held which made it really easy to make friends, the rooms and toilets were clean too. everything in old town is within walking distance, really great location!
Overall great place. I learned while staying here that I am not a hostel gal. Shared spaces aren’t for everyone and they definitely weren’t for me. The location of the hostel was fantastic, very prime location. I will say the food was mid which is as expected. The staff was super kind and attentive, especially when I needed to check out early and end my trip abruptly for a medical emergency.
Really enjoyed my stay here! It's in the heart of the city right off the Royal Mile, so it's really easy to get to everything you want to do. It's also not even a 10-minute walk from the train station, so if you're coming in by train, it's very convenient. The room was comfortable, the pods created a decent sense of privacy while sleeping, and the bathrooms always looked clean to me.
I highly recommend this hostel. Was incredibly clean and I really appreciate the extra amenities (hair dryers in the bathroom, laundry machine on site). Location was also great and the hostel also organized events where it was easy to meet other travelers.
there's no kitchen but can sit and eat your food in the bar area. discount on food for those staying was great. it's not a very nice building to hang out in- dark and feels like the jail it once was. pods are private but get very hot atnl night especially with curtain closed.

Gros coup de coeur pour cette auberge. Les chambres sont propres et les salles de bains aussi. L'auberge est situé à moins de 10 minutes a pieds de la gare centrale et tout peut se faire a pieds. Le personnel est accueillant et "very helpful" ils vous feront sentir comme chez vous. Vous disposez de -15% sur le restaurant et des activités sont organisées tous les soirs ( beer testing, pub quizz...) Le seul - : manque de cuisine, et il y a 1 mini salon au 3eme que personne ne connait !
The hostel is located less than 10 minutes' walk from the central station and everything can be done on foot. the staff is welcoming and "very helpful" they will make you feel at home. you have -15% off the restaurant and activities are organized every evening (beer testing, pub quiz...) The only lounge: lacks a kitchen, and there is 1 mini on the 3rd floor that no one knows !
I had an excellent experience at this hostel. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. I’d had a bit of a mixup with my booking and the hostel staff were so helpful and got everything sorted for me. The sleeping pods were so comfortable! The breakfast and dinner deals were a great price and everything was delicious. Also, the location was absolutely perfect, literally right next to St Giles Cathedral. I honestly have no complaints, it was a great stay.
Super convenient location right in the middle of the old town. Staff were friendly, helpful and the rooms were comfortable, quiet and clean. Laundry was super easy to do and pay for. I did twice prepaid breakfast and didn’t realise it only included 4 options, which is fine but it was advertised in my opinion as being any choice. Overall a great comfortable stay and I felt very safe as a young women!
Great location & easy to get to from airport via the 100 bus( £8.50 return). The facilities were clean & female bathrooms were a good size & had excellent showers. I liked having the code to gain access rather than a card. Easy check in. Staff were friendly & I enjoyed the taste of Scotland event.
Hostel is very well located in the old town of Edinburgh. The rooms were not spacious but clean. POD was comfy and you could charge your phone inside. The lockers are big enough to fit a medium-sized suitcase. Staff was friendly but seemed very overwhelmed at time (eg. check-in, bar). They organize daily activities which were mostly free and great to connect with other guests. The only con about this place is that they don’t have a lounge/kitchen area (only the bar for paid customers).
Great hostel ! I don't know if it was because of it wasn't that busy, but the bathrooms were exceptionnally cleaned (and spacious) as well as the room I was staying it. The hostel is very secured with a code to enter for each door, which feels rather safe. Although I think a card system would make it safer, as it's easier to just remember the code of the doors and come back in. I really enjoyed my stay ! The capsule beds are offering a lot more privacy than a normal bunk bed would.
Premier voyage en solo en ecosse et ma première fois dans une auberge de jeunesse et je ne regrette rien . Tout est top , le personnel, les pod , la propreté des sanitaires une super ambiance au bar et on mange super bien . Franchement je reviendrais avec grand plaisir , je recommande fortement .
First solo trip to Ecosse and my first time in a hostel and I don't regret anything. everything is top notch, the staff, the pods, the cleanliness of the toilets a super atmosphere at the bar and we eat super well. frankly I would return with great pleasure, I highly recommend it.
Great location but not too noisy at night. Everything was very clean and efficient. Sadly no kitchen facilities is always going to be a disappointment to hostel travellers. Also the sharp increase in price for a Saturday night seems excessive and unjustified.
Great "pod" style hostel. it really helped me get over my jet lag. My only real issue is a lack of communal area and kitchen. They are however rectifying this soon, so check online if they're a must have for you.
Le MEILLEUR hostel d’Édimbourg. Je suis partie seule en voyage pour la première fois de ma vie et j’ai choisi de faire confiance en cet hostel, je ne regrette absolument pas. Si jamais vous devez choisir un hostel où résider à Édimbourg c’est vraiment celui-ci !!!
I went on a trip alone for the first time in my life and I chose to trust this hostel, I don't regret it at all. if you ever have to choose a hostel to stay in Edinburgh it really is this one !!!
