Windmill Naxos

Lovely accommodation, with very friendly staff. Highlights being free coffee, biscuits, water and the opportunity to do some washing. The shower in our dorm did not stay up by itself which was annoying when trying to wash your hair. On the hostel front, we only saw families staying there no other travellers, therefore not good for socialising.

Clean, great bed (loved the pods!), free load of laundry and coffee in the morning AWESOME, and so close to the beach. George (the owner) is really nice until you do even the tiniest thing wrong, and then he's pretty rude, and it felt sexist.... But overall great value for money, and as long as you follow the rules you'll have a good stay.

The facilities were really clean and the location nice, it’s easy to get to different beaches and into Naxos City. It didn’t really have a hostel vibe though - so if you want to meet people I would not recommend it.

Windmill Naxos is an affordable stay and simple but nice. It’s a cute old building but has everything you need. I would stay there again!

The price, location and beds were excellent. However, the TV had 10 channels which were all in Greek, the bathroom was miniature, the wifi did not work (severely slow), there was no cell service at the property, and the manager working there got mad at us for cooking in our room which had cooking facilities! I’d give it a 5/10.

Georgios was a very helpful and friendly host. Free coffee every morning and beach towels provided was a nice touch

10/10 Hostel. Noch nie so ein Bett gehabt. Keine Hochbetten sondern jeder hat seine eigene Kabine die man verschließen kann, komplett abdunkelt und mit reichlich Platz für Gepäck sowie einem minikühlschrank. Jeden Morgen super Kaffee und eine tolle Terrasse zum Kaffee trinken und windgeschützt entspannen. Athmosphäre so angenehm und einladend um neue Leute kennenzulernen. Besten 6 Tage in einem Hostel. Größte Empfehlung!

I LOVED my stay at Windmill Naxos! It was a perfect spot for relaxing and getting away from the bustle of Euro big cities. The host is amazing and offers free coffee and cookies each morning (10/10 cappuccino). The room was spacious, clean, comfy, and such a good value for the price. 5 min walk to beach, 20 min walk to port, and near supermarket, cafes, bakeries, and more. Although not a social hostel, it has a warm and peaceful atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back here one day with friends!

Je suis restée 4 nuits a Windmill, je recommande fortement. Parfait pour solo traveller où j'ai pu rencontrer les autres voyageurs dans le patio près de la réception. Le dortpir femme avec 4 lits, des lits avec une porte qui permet de fermer à clé, et lit confortable. Il a été très facile de trouver l'établissement et d'y entrer. Dortoir nettoyé tous les jours, cuisine propre, patio agréable. Et le must... le café offer tous les matins. Hostel au top !

Amazing place to stay, the owner is so lovely and offers to make you a coffee every morning, providing some biscuits to go with it, as well as just being super friendly in general. It’s a great location and the rooms have so much privacy.

This hostel was absolutely wonderful! The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. Our room was spotless, the bed cozy, with a fridge and plenty of space for clothes. Fresh towels were always provided, even for the beach. He offered coffee every morning, helped with laundry, blocked our bed bcs of too much wind we had to stay longer, and luggage storage. Quiet, clean, with a lovely terrace and kitchen. Truly one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in!

One of the best stays ever! The female dorm was spacious, clean, and made an amazing use of space. It was super easy to lock up all your belongings and the owner was lovely and made a free coffee for you each morning !

a favourite stay, hosts are so kind and check in / out was super easy. stayed in the 4 bed dorm and wvery bed was its own littlw home with a safe, hangers and mini fridge and the place was super clean and free washing machine use!! would happily be back

Maravilloso hostel! Buena ubicación, limpieza y servicio por parte del personal! Jorge es un excelente anfitrión y todas las mañanas me recibió com exquisitos cafés! Tienes para lavar y planchar tu ropa, y cocinarte si asi lo prefieres. Muy completo todo.

Highly recommend! My friend and I had the best time at this hostel, such great value for money! George was so kind and helpful, he made us delicious coffee every morning which was so nice. There was complimentary washing too which was a bonus. The place was super clean (cleaned everyday thoroughly) and we loved the concept of our own little pod to sleep in. Must stay for sure!

Absolutely loved this hostel! I was obsessed and the staff are super friendly! lots of room and having a personal fridge each was such a bonus! also free beach towels and coffee! what’s better. highly recommend. Great location too
