Cute Hotel & Dorms Ipoh

very far from city center, big dorm nothing to do in area, walking distance from busstation, not social, cheap, ac turns off at 7am already…, and there was a camera in the dorm…

It’s close to the bus station but far from everything else. There were no secured baggage storage facilities, we’d to leave our bags at reception. There was no lock on the door to the dorms either, only a locker under the bed. We found one staff member intrusive, repeatedly asking where we were going and looking at our passports as another staff member checked us in. They were typing the card details into the computer also, although they had chip and pin device. Most uncomfortable bed!!!

Location near the bus terminal, kind staff, great to sleep, but no hostel atmosphere. A/C was really cold and was always on.

We had a really warm welcome at the hotel. The staff recommended places to visit and things to try, and they even offered us a bottle of water since it was very hot. The dormitories have air conditioning, there’s a water dispenser, and the rooms are clean. There’s also Wi-Fi and hot water available. Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

We stayed in Cute Hotel and were very satisfied with the place. The room was nice and clean and the staff members were so friendly and helpful. We were given many tips on places to visit and places to eat. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend. The hotel location is very close to the bus station but around 20/30mins from Ipoh Town.

Not social at all but a great little place to stay for exploring Ipoh - very far out of the town but right next door to the bus station - shout out to the staff who were lovely and gave us loads of recommendations :))

Der Weg von der Busstation zum Hostel ist in 10min geschafft. Dafür liegt das Hostel relativ weit weg vom Zentrum, welches aber mit den Bussen trotzdem gut zu erreichen ist. Der Host war sehr freundlich und hat uns immer seine Hilfe angeboten (auch wenn wir nicht immer danach gefragt haben). Die Betten war gut. Leider war das Zimmer in der Nacht extrem klimatisiert und die Decken waren sehr dünn. Ich habe mit zwei Pullover geschlafen. Es gab immer frisches Wasser zum auffüllen der Wasserflasc...

Nos quedamos en este hostel por qué está cerca de la estación de autobuses, la verdad que fue la mejor opción. No se puede imaginar lo serviciales que eran y lo mucho que intentan ayudarte. Un sitio bastante limpio y con buena energía. Es bastante seguro ya que tienes un locker debajo de la cama muy amplio y personal todo el rato. I liked my stay at Cute Hotel. When I arrived, I was greeted by Uncle Joe. He’s the best! The reason why I chose this hostel was because of the good reviews of the place, the bus station is nearby, and they mentioned Uncle Joe. The staffs were so nice especially him. Customer service was great! Please increase his salary and promote him! Thank you Uncle Joe!

The owner and the stuff was so kind and really having the best Tipps. Would always go there again and it’s a quick walk to the bus station.

Great hostel with lovely and caring staff. They explained what the highlights in Ipoh were and how to get there. It’s a 20-30 minutes bus drive to the city but it’s easy to get there. Hostel is very clean but you can’t lock the door to the dorm and it wasn’t social when I was there. But I would go there again.

only stayed for one night but uncle joe was one of the nicest hosts i’ve ever encountered in my travels. the hostel is really well maintained and the facilities are great, even in the large dorms. situated right next to the bus terminal so location is really good if you’re wanting to stay close to the busses. no complaints at all!

Uncle Jo was the Most hospitable and friendly fella I’ve met while traveling! Such a nice experience despite me only staying there for two Nights!

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Personal sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich war während meines Aufenthalts krank und der Besitzer hat sich gut um mich gekümmert. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb, allerdings ist das Zentrum mit dem Bus innerhalb 20-30 min zu erreichen. Was für uns kein Problem war da die Busse zuverlässig und pünktlich gefahren sind.

Great hostel super close to the bus station. I only spent one night, as I was getting an early bus. Super nice staff. Clean facilities. Only thing I didn’t care for was the air conditioning was only on from 7pm to 7am. All other hours it was hot in the room Other than that great hostel!

A very nice hostel with such a lovely man hosting! He gave us lots of tips and activities to do! If staying longer would do a few days here, and a few days more central but there is things to do around the area and close to the bus!

Uncle joe is great, very friendly, helpful and this is also the case for the rest of the staff. The rooms are nice and clean, hot shower with proper water pressure, comfortable beds. Located right next to the bus station which is very convenient, but far from the city center. However, you can use grab for very little prices. So, to summarise, amazing stay, we recommend and would go again!

Loin du centre mais juste derrière un centre commercial et à 5 minutes de la gare routière. Chambres chouettes, matelas confortables et personnel adorable

Clean hostel with the loveliest staff!! It’s a 5min walk from the bus station, however a good 30min drive to the centre of Ipoh Has a pool table and a 7/11 round the corner as well as a great Pizza restaurant behind the hostel!
