+ Nada, tuve una pésima experiencia.
- Desde que llegué el personal fue muy poco atento, debí pagar para guardar mis pertenencias entre tanto podía hacer el check in. La habitación tenía un pésimo olor y a pesar que solicité que le hicieran aseo, esto no fue tenido en cuenta y vi personalmente a la señora de limpieza, quien solo se limitó a doblar una sábana de una de las camas y no hizo absolutamente nada más, por lo cual el olor nunca se fue. Los camarotes no son privados, no tienen cortina así que todos podían verte. Los baños y duchas dejan mucho que desear, con mal olor y suciedad, imagino que son muy pocos baños para tantas personas. Después de acostarme un rato en el sofá del área social (único medio rescatable del hospedaje) y pasar una noche en el hostal, empecé a tener comezón en el cuerpo, lo cual hizo que corriera a buscar otro hospedaje en esas fechas. Cuando hice el check out de forma temprana, ni siquiera me preguntaron el motivo, solo recibieron la tarjeta y ya. Igual, no insistí en que algo cambiase, pues la actitud del personal desde el principio me dio a entender que era una pérdida de tiempo. Jamás volvería, no pierdan su dinero en este hostal.

- Manque d’intimité : les lits ne sont pas équipés de rideaux ou de séparations. L’établissement manque également de propreté. Je ne remets pas directement en cause l’établissement, mais plutôt le comportement de certains clients. Toutefois, le personnel ne semble pas choqué par l’état de saleté et laisse la situation perdurer. Il n’y a aucune poubelle mise à disposition, ni dans les chambres ni dans les douches.

+ La ubicacion del hostel esta muy bien, la atencion del recepcionista tambien.
- Que teniamos en la reserva dos camas, para la misma habitacion y nos pusieron en habitaciones separadas, siendo que se trataba de una reserva de dos camas. Entendiendo que se trata de un hostel, la verdad que los baños y las habitaciones tenian muchisimo olor. No pasamos ni una noche de las tres reservadas.

- Indianos alojados que faziam necessidades dentro do duche e no chao do wc. Nojo por todo o lado . A recepçao nem quis tomar providencias e apenas me mudou de quarto. Essa gente que cheira mal nos quartos e nem sabe para que serve uma sanita NAO DEVIA SEQUER SER ADMITIDA !!!

- No se como organizan lo de las camas cuando me dispuse a descansar no tenia espacio, mi cama estaba otra persona y la única disponible que no era mía tenía cosas me tuve que ir a las 2 de la mañana
- My experience at TOC Hostel has been one of the worst I’ve ever had in hostels. First of all, the guy at the reception desk in the afternoon was extremely rude; it feels like approaching him is asking for a favor instead of receiving proper guest service. The laundry facilities are terrible: dirty, they don’t wash properly, and I paid 9 € just to have my white clothes come out looking worse than before. On top of that, the detergent they provide never worked. And here you pay for absolutely everything: towels, laundry, water, breakfast… literally everything. The worst part was the night. I’ve stayed in many hostels before, but never had such a bad experience. The hostel enforces very strict rules (no check-in before 3 pm, no resting in the lounge even if you’re exhausted, no eating in the dining room), yet they don’t seem to have control over what really matters: who enters the rooms. In my dorm, a girl—brought in from a party—came in to have sex. I sent messages via WhatsApp and Booking but never received a response, so I had to go down to reception extremely upset. The guys on the night shift were kind and went straight to check the situation, but by then the girl had already left. The atmosphere is also very noisy. I understand they can’t control every sound, but it was obvious that the place is full of groups of young foreigners just looking for sex and partying. They came back to the dorms very late at night making a lot of noise. This is especially surprising considering I also saw many families staying at the hostel. The only redeeming part was the breakfast (which you obviously pay for) and the morning staff, who were attentive, kept everything clean, and made sure guests had what they needed. In short: an overpriced hostel, with strict rules for the wrong things and no control over what really matters. I would never stay here again and I do not recommend it.

Schönes Hostel, not so many younger people.
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Attention toutefois, il nous a fallu montrer patte blanche à chaque fois pour le petit déjeuner alors qu il était compris dans notre réservation.
We had a pleasant stay, but be careful, we had to show our white feet every time for breakfast even though it was included in our reservation.
Check-in and check-out weren’t smooth. I was charged city tax twice after extending my stay by one day via email a week in advance, which doesn’t make sense. They told me to book the same room, which I did, and my bed didn’t change. I also expected a safe, but my reservation didn’t include one—this wasn’t clear online. Cleanliness was fine, not great.
No problems at all. Does exactly what you’d hope.
The hostel is quite nice and well located in the center of Barcelona. However, there was an incident one night that wasn’t treated well by the staff. In fact, one of the roomates came back drunk, ruined the toilets et fell asleep on the wrong bed. They decided to leave him in the room by putting him on the right bed. Thus, this night was very noisy and unpleasant for the rest of the room. No hot water one morning Poor WiFi in the room
This hostel is very nice and in a very good location. The main downside is that the beds don’t have curtains. Other than that I enjoyed my stay. It’s not overly social so it makes for a nice and calm stay.
Lovely facilities, feels like a hotel. However a few qualms. Rooms would be a 10/10 but however there are no curtains. Obv understood this going into the booking but I feel like it’s a little thing that can boost satisfaction so much. Looking through the reviews I saw two easy fixes. Getting Curtains and also… faster check in times. I don’t want to be rude but I seriously don’t understand what takes so long it’s insane. Also the locker storage is overpriced. 12€?!! I think it ...
The hotel part is quite nice but quite expensive. The dorms are quite expensive for what it is... No curtains on the beds. They also made me pay 12 euros for a locker to leave my bag on the last day even though they suggest some people to put it in their luggage room... Kind of a shame
Bastante buena ubicación, es muy familiar y es seguro. Si lo que quieres es un hostal social para conocer gente este no es para ti. Todo mundo anda en su rollo y no hay actividades si nada. Pero la verdad es que bastante bien.
It's a pretty good location, it's very familiar and it's safe. if what you want is a social hostel to meet people this is not for you. everyone goes about their business and there are no activities if anything. but the truth is that it's pretty good.

Personal amable, no había ventilación en la habitación, era difícil lograr que se sequen las toallas, en mis 2 estadías nunca estuvo habilitada la piscina.
The staff was friendly, there was no ventilation in the room, it was difficult to get the towels to dry, in my 2 stays the pool was never enabled.

+ The Location plus convenient Kitchen
- The Breakfasts were Predictable and So called hot food was always ( without exception ) Cold ! The Downstairs washing machine could do with a Clean inside ? Why Are there No Spoons in the Communal Kitchen ???
+ Localização excelente, próximo ao metrô Univercidade e nesta praça também é ponto do ônibus aeroporto, o que facilita demais a saída e chegada ao aeroporto de Barcelona. Café do hotel e muito bom, vale pagar e sair já pronto pra explorar as atrações da cidade. Restaurantes, mercados e bares próximos.
- Minha única reclamação e já vi que foram de outros também, são as camas não possuírem uma simples cortina Blackout, isso dá mais privacidade, preserva o sono e sossego se quem está dormindo. Lembrando que os quartos são em sua maioria com 8 e 6 pessoas e tem gente entrando e saindo em horários diversos. Só não ganhou 10 por isso, uma cortina é um investimento baixo no ganho e qualidade dos hóspedes que vocês vão ter acreditem.

+ L’emplacement de l’hostel est top! Proche des quartiers populaires ou des stations de métro Tout ce fait à pied depuis l’hostel
- La population des personnes dans l’hôtel craint. Je suis venu toute seule et en tant que fille, je ne me suis pas senti en sécurité, surtout avec les chambres mixtes. Je ne vous conseille pas d’y venir seule.
