Sea Hostel Barcelona

No common area, no kitchen, there’s no receptionist you have to call someone at the café and the guy who checked me in was barely nice. The door slam and you here them at night. Way too expensive for what it is. The neighbourhood is far from being the best.

Lo unico bueno es la ubicación. El hostel no tiene energia, el personal no tiene trato parece que estan forzados a estar ahi. Fui con muchas expectativas y me fui a la primera noche. Excelente ubicación pero si buscas sentirte en un lugar lindo que se sienta en casa como viajero solitario no lo recomiendo para nada.

Terrible experience. The room was dirty, the toilet unclean, and the mattress completely worn out — you could feel every spring through it. The air felt damp and heavy, and the constant street noise made it impossible to sleep or relax. The place didn’t feel cared for at all. I ended up leaving early because it was impossible to enjoy my stay in these conditions. Definitely not worth the price. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. There are much better hostels nearby.

WE FOUND THREE BUGS crawling all over the curtains on our beds. The room we stayed in was on the ground floor and extremely muggy. We went clubbing that night and got back to the hostel at 3a to wake up at 7a for our train and I couldn’t have done another minute there. Also bring a small lock bc our general lock was too big and the lock they give you is so weak and not worth €3. Would not recommend- especially for the price.

I booked two nights. They double-booked by bed. The first night the person who it belonged to said it was his bed so I had to vacate it. This was at about 4:45 to 5 am. I was told that there was not any other bed free. It was pouring down outside and the front of desk staff said I can't sit in the cafe area as it is closed. I've asked for a full refund but I have not got it yet. They are very disorganised. (The location is actually good but I don't want to give this hostel any positive feedback)

Eigenlijk is het enige leuke aan de locatie dat het bij het strand zit. Verder zit er een cafe wat overdag wel gezellig lijkt maar waar snachts gewoon zwervers binnen zitten. Ik voelde me er niet erg veilig. Verder vroeg ik toen ik aankwam of ik een dag minder kon blijven, in plaats van meedenken was het antwoord eigenlijk, nee, betalen. Verder is de kamer jammer, maar al helemaal het bovenste bed. Ik slaap slecht als het licht aanstaat en dat was een sensor. Als iemand het licht aanzette bleef ...

Really bad service.

The hostel kept my despotic money. The gave me just a improvement that was a paper.

Det ända som var bra va läget. Men annars va de väldigt lyhört då fönstret skulle va öppet för att få in någon luft, sand i hela rummet samt i duschen. Säng/kudde helt utslitet. Fanns inte heller något lounge/köksområde.

Sadly this hostel doesn't have human empathy and will take your money without giving you a stay. Emailled them but I have not received a reply. Avoid. I will update if the hostel attempts to resolve.

Super hostel ! L'emplacement est top, juste à côté de la plage. Le bar est très sympa, surtout le matin pour prendre son café tranquillement. Niveau sécurité, rien à dire : le système de bracelet est rassurant. Enfin, le personnel est vraiment super. Merci beaucoup, je recommande !

No soap in the bathroom all 5 days. Toilet paper ran out daily, requiring me to track staff down everyday.

L'emplacement est vraiment au TOP. Le lieu est vraiment différent de toutes les auberges que j'ai faîte. L'endroit collectif est ouvert au public car c'est aussi un café/bar avec une terrasse en face de la mer, c'est un peu petit mais c'est sympa. Le lieu est propre, les chambres aussi. Un lieu simple, mais tellement proche de tout !

Decent property in a good location but my bed was filled with sand before ever using it and the staff was a bit rude to us.

Overall good stay for cost. Pro: proximity to beach, cost, cleanliness of beds, quality laundry machine reasonably priced, ease of check in and check out. Restaurant attached is fairly priced compared to others. Cons: no kitchen or common area for meeting people or cooking, no mat for shower so bathroom floor in front of shower stays quite wet. What would be helpful: somewhere by the bed to set phone and charger other than the bed, C outlet or USB outlet by the bed.

Die Lage ist das beste an dem Hostel, ansonsten nicht empfehlenswert.

Une superbe auberge où on se sent comme à la maison. Une très bonne ambiance, l'équipe est au top. Je voyage seule et je me suis sentie vraiment en sécurité. Barceloneta est l'endroit où il faut être et Sea hostel est l'auberge à découvrir.

Everything was perfect except the staff (I think manager) didn’t let me check in at 3 and told me to wait than she yelled “come here now I’ll check you in, come on!” As soon as I walked in she was very unwelcoming which started my stay off badly. All the rest of the staff were super lovely. The location is also perfect if beach is a priority.

Completo, cercano a la playa. Ofrecen candados, toalla y lavandería. Cercano a la playa, genial!! Las camas dan privacidad. Ya que tienen cortina. Los baños bien. Me quedé en la habitación compartida de 10 por lo que fue ruidosa. Pero sin mayor problema

Esperienza più che positiva, soprattutto per chi ama viaggiare con praticità e autonomia. La posizione è ottima: a due passi dalla spiaggia della Barceloneta e dal lungomare, l’ideale per chi vuole godersi il mare e le passeggiate serali. Le camere condivise sono essenziali ma ben organizzate. Ogni letto ha la propria tenda oscurante, una presa elettrica, luci personali e cassettone con lucchetto. Privacy e sicurezza assicurate. ***Recentemente ristrutturato

Great location if you’re wanting to be right next to the beach! Rooms got cleaned every day. Good WiFi and thick curtains around each bed which is great! Nice cafe attached to the hostel. Check in process was super slow, there were 3 people behind the desk yet only one person doing the work with a long line of people needing to check in. Other negative is the sliding shower screen in my bathroom was totally broken.

Lo único bueno que tiene el hostal es la ubicación porque atención del personal es super mala, además mi prima le quedó un reloj en la cama y nunca apareció al parecer los de limpieza no lo dejaron en objetos perdidos… una vez que haga el check out no te colaboran en nada ni dejarlo cambiar

If you're looking for a direct walk onto the beach, this hostel provides that. My main complaint is that the door to the en suite shower would not lock. I was in a mixed room, and as a woman this initially really concerned me. I did bring this to the attention of the staff, who, while being very nice and apologetic, didn't have any immediate answers. Also, the motion sensor light would turn off every two seconds and was difficult to wave back on (and I'm 5'7).
