Für weniger Geld wäre das Zimmer in Ordnung gewesen, für den bezahlten Preis war es jedoch nicht angemessen. Die Bezeichnung Deluxe ist falsch. Das Zimmer war die Stiegen runter im Hinterhof. Es hatte nur ein Fenster auf Kopfhöhe. Bei Ankunft roch es sehr stark nach Putzmittel. Vor allem ärgerlich war, dass genau vor der Zimmertüre im Hinterhof der Raucherbereich war. Wir wurden dadurch täglich sehr früh geweckt, sowohl durch Lärm als auch durch Rauchgeruch, der durchs Fenster ins Zimme...

El hostel está muy bien, la atención es buena, camas cómodas, limpio. Pero la puntuación va acorde al precio que me cobraron que fue carísimo.

As a young adventurer I've spent time in my fair share of bad hostels. The Mambo Tango tops the list for the worst possible accommodation, offering a small windowless box room with the charm of a slum - all for the cost of £100 per night. After begging to cancel my booking, I was refused and forced to stay in this awful place. The experience ruined my holiday. There is an abundance of accommodation available in Barcelona. Please if you read this, don't take the risk, find somewhere else...

Das 1er Zimmer hat kein richtiges Fenster, dunkel, laut ;die Waschmaschine steht neben dem Zimmer und läuft bis spät in die Nacht. Abgewohnt und schmutzig. Kein Preis-Leistungsverhältnis . Die Lage ist gut.

Horrible. The place smelled poorly.... everywhere, and you could smell cigarette smoke when downstairs in the common area. While I was there, not long after checking in, two girls also came into my room, coughing their guts out. With medicine etc,... I became concerned and let the front desk know, just for the general safety of everyone there ( you could even hear them coughing loudly in the background while we were talking ) and she said there was nothing she could do, I would never come ba...

Bed bunks are not cleaned, dirt and marks are in many corners. One toilet for a room of 8 isn't enough. Internet is slow.

Bathrooms were a bit dirty. Toilet seats were falling off. Cold leftover coffee from previous night at 7am.

Pros:-Great staff - Good simple breakfast, you get some fruit, bread, and a croissant - Even if someone turned on the light in the room the bunks would remain nice and dark - good kitchen- air conditioning worked - well located, 8 min walk from metro - Comfortable shared spaces Cons:- No hot water in showers- You cant charge your phone and sleep at the same time as the plug would often fall out of the socket - lockers were heavy and very loud, would wake up everyone in the room- no locks given

The mambo tango hostel is what you’d expect a budget hostel to be, but with a price tag higher than what it’s worth. The building was old, the bathrooms were moldy and the private room for 3 was the size of a closet. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful which made the stay a touch better, but we were glad it was only a 2 night stay.

Overall great value for money. Comfortable bed with curtains, friendly staff, a small breakfast for free, decent shower, free luggage storage was also a plus! Recommend!

Luogo molto accogliente, personale gentile ed ospiti molto tranquilli, c'è tutto il necessario per girare con tranquillità la città e non solo, con la sicurezza di un posto semplice e perfetto per chi ama viaggiare senza troppe pretese. Situato in una zona molto ben servita lo consiglio e sicuramente ci tornerò.

Kleines Hostel in super Lage, alles sehr sauber (nur die Einrichtung ist schon etwas älter). das Personal ist super nett und es gibt sogar ein kleines Frühstück.

I had a great stay at Mambo Tango. Very friendly staff! If I may suggest: a little shelf and some more hooks in the shared bathroom would be fine. But all in all: Warmly recommended 🧡☀️

I felt safe and comfortable in the room and beds. The curtains were nice. The bathrooms were mostly clean. The showers could have been a bit cleaner, but it was not too bad. It was a good location and the space downstairs was nice to hangout in.

the bathrooms weren’t very clean and my room was right off of the main entry area, and people kept leaving the door open to the reception which was really weird the front desk people were ok, not super welcoming they didn’t have activities or anything so it was a weird vibe there was also a lot of older people there which was strange and made the environment feel weird

Really nice Hostel with very friendly staff. You get everything you need there, the kitchen is well equipped and the free breakfast with coffee was lovely. I felt safe as a female solo backpacker - the only thing I would recommend is to book the female only dorm as a woman.

I felt safe and cozy at the Mambo tango. The staff was really nice and it was at a very central but quiet location. I recommend the pub crawl. It's really well organised by Santiago, he will bring you to the best parties and has a good energy. Brenda is also part of the crew and a very fun outgoing person ☀️

Adorei minha estadia, fiquei 3 noites e foi tudo tranquilo. Localização ótimo, acomodação confortável.

Staff and atmosphere in the hostel was nice. Location was not bad. The room on the second floor was extremely hot and I didn’t sleep at all. Staff tried to turn the air conditioner up but it did not feel very cool. If you are sensitive to hot nights like I am, this is not the hostel for you.

- good location & the street a few blocks over is great for tapas and drinks. Easy to get around via public transport. - ac was amazing in the room & worked so well. - staff was kind and friendly especially Austin! - they have filtered water at the front for guests, free coffee, tea, & complimentary breakfast which is nice. - only thing was the people staying there are not too friendly/ respect(or maybe just my room?) & they were Much older & as a female would not suggest this to solo fe...
