Unacceptable and discriminatory experience. The staff was openly hostile; one staff member made a disgusted face and gave me a 'thumbs down' gesture when she realized where I am from. To make it worse, another guest pointed at the exit and told me 'the door is that way' right in front of the staff, who did absolutely nothing and even seemed to agree. This is blatant harassment. Worst hostel experience ever. This hostel is in a very bad condition, very old and dirty. The bed was smelly and I could barely sleep because I was so disgusted. My whole body itches, possibly because of bed bugs. It was also very noisy at night. The bathroom is moldy. The rooms don't have keys so everybody can go in. Location is in a shady area, wouldn't go out alone at night. I really don't understand the good google rewievs. I would never ever go in any Onefam hostel again.

Would not recommend unless you are there to party! We had a full itinerary planned of exploring the city and had to do so on barely any sleep. We stayed three nights and all were very disrupted. Disappointed as the reviews were so amazing and it wasn’t that cheap! The staff were very friendly though and if you’re there to party and meet people I’m sure the hostel events would be great.

I stayed at Onefam Ramblas, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The cleanliness was poor. The shower had black mold and lacked any locks. The beds were in bad condition, with bent curtain rods and sheets that were only barely acceptable. Overall, the facilities felt very run down and are in serious need of renovation. NOT AS DESCRIBED Unfortunately these photos are NOT of this hostel. I suspect it’s one of the “sister hostels” in the photos? The actual hostel is very run down, the beds are sunken in and smell terrible, the bedding and pillows are hard and smell gross as well. They clearly need to replace them. The hostel itself is not well taken care of, needs to be renovated/repainted. It is also not in a nice area, it’s in a sketchy area that’s not very centrally located. staff is really nice...

Very expensive with no good « basic » (free towels, lockers, soap…) and quite noisy with exclusive binge drinking culture. The girl’s bathroom smelt quite bad and small for the number of people. No intimacy. However the staff was nice, with free coffee and dinner.

Es war abends 21 Uhr und ich hatte eine bestätigte Buchung über Booking.com. Trotzdem habe ich keine Schlafmöglichkeit in diesem Hostel erhalten und musste das Haus wieder verlassen. Aufgrund meines Alters, wurde meine über Booking.com bestätigte Buchung abgelehnt. Wer diese Diskriminierung nicht unterstützen möchte sollte dieses Hostel meiden!

Very much disappointed from my stay at this hostel, in particular because it was more expensive than several alternatives (130€ for 2 nights!). But I searched a lot and went for it due to the good reviews. In particular for it being so expensive, they should invest more into furniture. This hostel’s high rating is misleading. The “8-bed dorm” was actually part of a 16-bed dorm with no real separation. The kitchen was tiny and inefficient, far from what was advertised. Staff were overly fake, mainly pushing guests to leave good reviews. Their nightlife events felt unsafe—staff disappeared, leaving guests stranded. When my jacket went missing, they didn’t care at all. This place values ratings over real hospitality. Better stay elsewhere.

Tolles Hostel mit einer super freundlichen Atmosphäre! Das Personal war sehr herzlich, die Zimmer sauber und man konnte schnell andere Reisende kennenlernen. Perfekte Lage im Zentrum von Barcelona. Hatte eine tolle Zeit und würde definitiv wiederkommen!

The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Being a solo traveler, they made me feel welcomed and included. They cook free vegetarian meal every night, schedule fun games and take you out every night. Highly recommended!

I overall enjoyed my stay at OneFam Ramblas. The location was a great starting point for the major places to visit in Barcelona. I also enjoyed the options for group activities, and the crowd was very social without being overly party-heavy. I will echo everyone else's kind words about the staff and facilities! Easily the best hostel I’ve stayed in. Everyone’s super social and the evening events are a great time without feeling forced. They go out every night, so you’ll always have a crew to hit the clubs with. Shoutout to Ylke and Manny and everyone else for making Barcelona unforgettable

I had such a lovely time at Onefam Ramblas! The staff, programming, fellow guests, and living spaces were perfect. Manny, Ylke, Hala, and Luana were all so kind and helpful and made me feel at home🫶

As a first time solo traveler, this was a perfect location to stay in. Immediately felt welcome by Manny and throughout the stay every staff member was very kind, friendly, and helpful with their recommendations for food, attractions, and other activities.
